Hebrews 9
1 Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary.
Es hatte nun zwar auch der erste Bund Satzungen des Dienstes [O. Gottesdienstes] und das Heiligtum, ein weltliches.
2 For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread, which is called the Holy Place.
Denn eine Hütte wurde zugerichtet, die vordere, [W. die erste] in welcher sowohl der Leuchter war als auch der Tisch und die Darstellung der Brote, welche das Heilige genannt wird;
3 After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,
hinter dem zweiten Vorhang aber eine Hütte, welche das Allerheiligste genannt wird,
4 having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
die ein goldenes Räucherfaß [O. viell.: einen goldenen Räucheraltar] hatte und die Lade des Bundes, überall mit Gold überdeckt, in welcher der goldene Krug war, der das Manna enthielt, und der Stab Aarons, der gesproßt hatte, und die Tafeln des Bundes;
5 and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.
oben über derselben aber die Cherubim der Herrlichkeit, den Versöhnungsdeckel [O. Gnadenstuhl; dasselbe Wort wie Röm. 3,25] überschattend, von welchen Dingen jetzt nicht im Einzelnen zu reden ist.
6 Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,
Da nun dieses also eingerichtet ist, gehen in die vordere [W. die erste] Hütte allezeit die Priester hinein und vollbringen den Dienst; [W. die Dienstleistungen]
7 but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people.
in die zweite aber einmal des Jahres allein der Hohepriester, nicht ohne Blut, welches er für sich selbst und für die Verirrungen des Volkes darbringt;
8 The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.
wodurch der Heilige Geist dieses anzeigt, daß der Weg zum Heiligtum [O. zu den Allerheiligsten. -Da jetzt aber der Vorhang zerrissen ist, so sind die zwei [Heiliges und Allerheiligstes] zu einem geworden] noch nicht geoffenbart ist, solange die vordere [W. die erste] Hütte noch Bestand hat,
9 This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,
welches ein Gleichnis auf die gegenwärtige Zeit ist, nach welchem sowohl Gaben als auch Schlachtopfer dargebracht werden, die dem Gewissen nach den nicht vollkommen machen können, der den Gottesdienst übt,
10 being only (with foods and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.
welcher allein in Speisen und Getränken und verschiedenen Waschungen besteht, in Satzungen des Fleisches, auferlegt bis auf die Zeit der Zurechtbringung.
11 But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,
Christus aber, gekommen als Hoherpriester der zukünftigen Güter, [d. i. der Segnungen, welche Christus einführen sollte] in Verbindung mit der größeren [O. durch die größere] und vollkommneren Hütte, die nicht mit Händen gemacht [das heißt nicht von dieser Schöpfung ist],
12 nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. (aiōnios g166)
auch nicht mit [O. durch] Blut von Böcken und Kälbern, sondern mit [O. durch] seinem eigenen Blute, ist ein für allemal in das Heiligtum eingegangen, als er eine ewige Erlösung erfunden hatte. (aiōnios g166)
13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,
Denn wenn das Blut von Böcken und Stieren und die Asche einer jungen Kuh, auf die Unreinen gesprengt, zur Reinigkeit des Fleisches heiligt,
14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios g166)
wieviel mehr wird das Blut des Christus, der durch den ewigen Geist sich selbst ohne Flecken Gott geopfert hat, euer Gewissen reinigen von toten Werken, um dem lebendigen Gott zu dienen! [O. Gottesdienst darzubringen] (aiōnios g166)
15 For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (aiōnios g166)
Und darum ist er Mittler eines neuen Bundes, damit, da der Tod stattgefunden hat zur Erlösung von den Übertretungen unter dem ersten Bunde, die Berufenen die Verheißung des ewigen Erbes empfingen; (aiōnios g166)
16 For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it.
[denn wo ein Testament [Für "Testament" und "Bund" ist im Griech. dasselbe Wort gebraucht] ist, da muß notwendig der Tod dessen eintreten, der das Testament gemacht hat.
17 For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.
Denn ein Testament ist gültig, wenn der Tod eingetreten ist, [Eig. bei od. über Toten] weil es niemals Kraft hat, solange der lebt, der das Testament gemacht hat; ]
18 Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.
daher ist auch der erste Bund nicht ohne Blut eingeweiht worden.
19 For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
Denn als jedes Gebot nach dem Gesetz von Moses zu dem ganzen Volke geredet war, nahm er das Blut der Kälber und Böcke mit Wasser und Purpurwolle und Ysop und besprengte sowohl das Buch selbst als auch das ganze Volk,
20 saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.”
und sprach: "Dies ist das Blut des Bundes, den Gott für euch geboten hat". [2. Mose 24,8]
21 He sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood.
Und auch die Hütte und alle Gefäße des Dienstes besprengte er gleicherweise mit dem Blute;
22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
und fast alle Dinge werden mit Blut gereinigt nach dem Gesetz, und ohne Blutvergießung ist keine Vergebung.
23 It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Es war nun nötig, daß die Abbilder der Dinge in den Himmeln hierdurch gereinigt wurden, die himmlischen Dinge selbst aber durch bessere Schlachtopfer als diese.
24 For Christ hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
Denn der Christus ist nicht eingegangen in das mit Händen gemachte Heiligtum, ein Gegenbild des wahrhaftigen, sondern in den Himmel selbst, um jetzt vor dem Angesicht Gottes für uns zu erscheinen;
25 nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,
auch nicht, auf daß er sich selbst oftmals opferte, wie der Hohepriester alljährlich in das Heiligtum hineingeht mit fremdem Blut;
26 or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn g165)
sonst hätte er oftmals leiden müssen von Grundlegung der Welt an; jetzt aber ist er einmal in der Vollendung der Zeitalter geoffenbart worden zur Abschaffung der Sünde durch sein Opfer. [Eig. Schlachtopfer; nach and. Lesart: durch das Schlachtopfer seiner selbst] (aiōn g165)
27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,
Und ebenso wie es den Menschen gesetzt ist, einmal zu sterben, danach aber das Gericht,
28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
also wird auch der Christus, nachdem er einmal geopfert worden ist, um vieler Sünden zu tragen, zum zweiten Male denen, die ihn erwarten, ohne Sünde [Eig. getrennt von, od. ohne Beziehung zur; d. h. sein Kommen für die Seinen hat nichts mehr mit der Sünde zu tun. [Vergl. v 26]] erscheinen zur Seligkeit.
