Genesis 24
1 Abraham was old, and well advanced in age. Yahweh had blessed Abraham in all things.
၁ထိုအချိန်၌အာဗြဟံသည်အသက်အရွယ် အလွန်ကြီးရင့်လာပြီဖြစ်၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်အရာရာ၌သူ့အားကောင်းချီးပေးတော် မူခဲ့၏။-
2 Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his house, who ruled over all that he had, “Please put your hand under my thigh.
၂သူသည်သူ၏ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာအားလုံးတို့ကိုအုပ် ထိန်းရသော အသက်အကြီးဆုံးအစေခံကို ခေါ်လျက်``သင်၏လက်ကိုငါ့ပေါင်အောက်မှာ ထား၍သစ္စာဆိုလော့။-
3 I will make you swear by Yahweh, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live.
၃သင်သည်ငါ့သားအတွက်မယားကိုခါနာန် လူမျိုးတို့တွင်မရှာပါဟု ကောင်းကင်နှင့်မြေ ကြီးအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမတော်ကိုတိုင်တည်၍သစ္စာဆိုလော့။-
4 But you shall go to my country, and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”
၄သင်သည်ငါမွေးရာဇာတိပြည်သို့ပြန်သွား၍ ငါ၏အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထဲမှငါ၏သား ဣဇာက်အတွက်မယားရှာခဲ့ရမည်'' ဟုဆို လေ၏။
5 The servant said to him, “What if the woman isn’t willing to follow me to this land? Must I bring your son again to the land you came from?”
၅ထိုအခါအစေခံက``အမျိုးသမီးသည်သူ၏ အိမ်ရာကိုစွန့်၍ဤပြည်သို့ ကျွန်တော်နှင့်အတူ မလိုက်လိုဟုဆိုလျှင်မည်သို့ပြုလုပ်ရပါမည် နည်း။ ကိုယ်တော်၏သားကိုကိုယ်တော်၏ဇာတိ ပြည်သို့ကျွန်တော်ခေါ်ဆောင်သွားရပါမည် လော'' ဟုမေးလေ၏။
6 Abraham said to him, “Beware that you don’t bring my son there again.
၆အာဗြဟံကလည်း``ထိုပြည်သို့ငါ့သားကို သင်ခေါ်၍မသွားရ။-
7 Yahweh, the God of heaven—who took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my birth, who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, ‘I will give this land to your offspring—he will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.
၇ကောင်းကင်ဘုံရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည်ငါ၏ဖခင်နှင့်ဆွေမျိုးများနေထိုင်ရာပြည် မှ ငါ့ကိုခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့၍ငါ၏အမျိုးအနွယ်တို့ အား ဤပြည်ကိုပေးမည်ဟုငါ့အားကတိသစ္စာ ပြုထားတော်မူ၏။ သင်သည်ငါ့သားအတွက် မယားရှာ၍ရစေခြင်းငှာ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိ၏ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကိုသင့်အလျင်ထို ပြည်သို့စေလွှတ်တော်မူမည်။-
8 If the woman isn’t willing to follow you, then you shall be clear from this oath to me. Only you shall not bring my son there again.”
၈အကယ်၍အမျိုးသမီးကသင်နှင့်အတူမလိုက် လိုပါကသင်ထားသောကတိသစ္စာသည်ပျက်ပြယ် စေ။ သို့ရာတွင်မည်သည့်အကြောင်းကြောင့်မဆို ငါ့သားကိုထိုပြည်သို့ခေါ်ဆောင်၍မသွားရ'' ဟုဆို၏။-
9 The servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.
၉ထို့ကြောင့်အာဗြဟံ၏အစေခံသည်မိမိ သခင်၏ပေါင်အောက်တွင် လက်ကိုထား၍ ခိုင်းစေသမျှအတိုင်းပြုလုပ်ပါမည်ဟု ကတိသစ္စာဆိုလေ၏။
10 The servant took ten of his master’s camels, and departed, having a variety of good things of his master’s with him. He arose, and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.
၁၀အာဗြဟံ၏ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာကိုအုပ်ထိန်းရသော ထိုအစေခံသည် မိမိသခင်၏ကုလားအုတ် များထဲမှကုလားအုတ်ဆယ်စီးကိုယူ၍ မက်ဆိုပိုတေးမီးယားပြည်မြောက်ပိုင်းရှိ နာခေါ်နေထိုင်ရာမြို့သို့ခရီးထွက်ခဲ့လေသည်။-
11 He made the camels kneel down outside the city by the well of water at the time of evening, the time that women go out to draw water.
၁၁ထိုအရပ်သို့ရောက်သော်သူသည်မြို့ပြင်ရှိ ရေတွင်းအနီးတွင် ကုလားအုတ်များကိုဝပ် ချစေ၏။ ထိုအချိန်သည်ကားမြို့တွင်းမှအမျိုး သမီးများထွက်၍ရေခပ်ရန်လာသောညနေ ချမ်းအချိန်ဖြစ်သတည်း။-
12 He said, “Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, please give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.
၁၂သူက``အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်အာဗြဟံ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်လာခဲ့ရသည့် ကိစ္စထမြောက်အောင်မြင်စေတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏သခင်အားထားသောကတိတော်အတိုင်းပြု တော်မူပါ။-
13 Behold, I am standing by the spring of water. The daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water.
၁၃အကျွန်ုပ်သည်မြို့တွင်းမှမိန်းမပျိုများရေ ခပ်လာမည့်ရေတွင်းနားသို့ရောက်ရှိနေပါ၏။-
14 Let it happen, that the young lady to whom I will say, ‘Please let down your pitcher, that I may drink,’ then she says, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink,’—let her be the one you have appointed for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master.”
၁၄သူတို့အထဲမှတစ်ယောက်ယောက်အား`သင်၏ ရေခရားမှရေတစ်ပေါက်လောက်သောက်ပါရ စေ' ဟုဆိုပါမည်။ အကယ်၍ထိုအမျိုးသမီး က`သောက်ပါ။ သင်၏ကုလားအုတ်တို့အတွက် လည်းရေခပ်ပေးပါမည်' ဟုဆိုလျှင် ထိုအမျိုး သမီးသည်ကိုယ်တော်၏ကျွန်ဣဇာက်အတွက် ကိုယ်တော်ရွေးချယ်ထားသူဖြစ်ပါစေသော။ အကျွန်ုပ်လျှောက်ထားသည့်အတိုင်းဖြစ်ခဲ့ လျှင်အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်အားထားတော်မူ သောကတိတော်အတိုင်း ကိုယ်တော်ပြုတော် မူကြောင်းအကျွန်ုပ်သိရပါမည်'' ဟုဆု တောင်းလေ၏။
15 Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher on her shoulder.
၁၅သူဆုတောင်း၍မဆုံးမီ၊ ရေဗက္ကဆိုသူအမျိုး သမီးသည်ရေခရားကိုပခုံးပေါ်တင်လျက် ရောက်ရှိလာလေသည်။ သူသည်အာဗြဟံ၏ညီ နာခေါ်နှင့်မယားမိလခါတို့၏သားဗေသွေ လ၏သမီးဖြစ်သည်။-
16 The young lady was very beautiful to look at, a virgin. No man had known her. She went down to the spring, filled her pitcher, and came up.
၁၆သူသည်အလွန်ရုပ်ရည်လှသောပျိုကညာဖြစ် ၏။ သူသည်ရေတွင်းသို့ဆင်း၍ရေခရား၌ရေ ဖြည့်ပြီးလျှင်ပြန်တက်လာသည်။-
17 The servant ran to meet her, and said, “Please give me a drink, a little water from your pitcher.”
၁၇ထိုအစေခံသည်မိန်းမပျိုထံသို့ပြေးသွား လျက်``သင်၏ခရားမှကျေးဇူးပြု၍ရေ တစ်ပေါက်သောက်ရန်ပေးပါ'' ဟုတောင်း လေ၏။
18 She said, “Drink, my lord.” She hurried, and let down her pitcher on her hand, and gave him a drink.
၁၈မိန်းမပျိုက``အရှင်သောက်ပါ'' ဟုဆို၍ပခုံး ပေါ်မှခရားကိုအလျင်အမြန်ချလျက်သူ့ အားပေးလေသည်။-
19 When she had finished giving him a drink, she said, “I will also draw for your camels, until they have finished drinking.”
၁၉သူ့အားရေတိုက်ပြီးသောအခါမိန်းမပျိုက``သင် ၏ကုလားအုတ်များရေဝအောင်သောက်နိုင်ရန် ကျွန်မရေခပ်ပေးပါဦးမည်'' ဟုဆိုလေသည်။-
20 She hurried, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again to the well to draw, and drew for all his camels.
၂၀မိန်းမပျိုသည်ခရားထဲ၌ရှိသောရေကိုရေ တိုက်ခွက်ထဲသို့ချက်ချင်းသွန်ချပြီးလျှင် သူ ၏ကုလားအုတ်အားလုံးတို့ကိုရေတိုက်ပြီး သည်အထိရေတွင်းမှရေကိုအလျင်အမြန် ခပ်သယ်ပေးသည်။-
21 The man looked steadfastly at her, remaining silent, to know whether Yahweh had made his journey prosperous or not.
၂၁ထိုအစေခံသည်လည်းထာဝရဘုရားကသူ့ အားထမြောက်အောင်မြင်ခွင့်ပေးမည်၊ မပေး မည်ကိုသိနိုင်ရန်စောင့်ကြည့်နေလေသည်။
22 As the camels had done drinking, the man took a golden ring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold,
၂၂မိန်းမပျိုသည်ကုလားအုတ်များကိုရေတိုက် ပြီးသောအခါ ထိုသူသည်အချိန်ငါးမူးရှိ သောရွှေနှာဆွဲနှင့်အကျပ်တစ်ဆယ်အချိန် ရှိသောရွှေလက်ကောက်တစ်ရံကိုသူ့အားဝတ် ဆင်ပေးပြီးလျှင် သင်သည်မည်သူ၏သမီး ဖြစ်သည်ကိုသိပါရစေ။-
23 and said, “Whose daughter are you? Please tell me. Is there room in your father’s house for us to stay?”
၂၃သင်၏ဖခင်အိမ်တွင်ကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်ကျွန်ုပ်၏အဖော် တို့ညတည်းခိုရန်နေရာရှိပါသလော'' ဟုမေး လေ၏။
24 She said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor.”
၂၄``ကျွန်မသည်နာခေါ်နှင့်မိလခါတို့၏မြေး၊ ဗေသွေလ၏သမီးဖြစ်ပါ၏။-
25 She said moreover to him, “We have both straw and feed enough, and room to lodge in.”
၂၅ကျွန်မတို့၏အိမ်တွင်တိရစ္ဆာန်များအတွက် ကောက်ရိုးနှင့်အစာများစွာရှိပါသည်။ သင် တို့တည်းခိုရန်နေရာလည်းရှိပါသည်'' ဟု ဖြေကြားလေသည်။
26 The man bowed his head, and worshiped Yahweh.
၂၆ထိုအခါသူသည်ဦးညွှတ်၍ထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုရှိခိုးလျက်၊-
27 He said, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his loving kindness and his truth toward my master. As for me, Yahweh has led me on the way to the house of my master’s relatives.”
၂၇``အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်အာဗြဟံအားကရုဏာ ပြတော်မူလျက် သစ္စာကတိတော်အတိုင်းပြု တော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား၏ကျေးဇူး တော်သည်ကြီးလှပါ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်အကျွန်ုပ်အားသခင်၏ဆွေမျိုးများ ထံသို့ဆိုက်ဆိုက်မြိုက်မြိုက်ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူ လေပြီ'' ဟုမြွက်ဆိုလေ၏။
28 The young lady ran, and told her mother’s house about these words.
၂၈မိန်းမပျိုသည်လည်းသူ၏မိခင်နေအိမ်သို့ ပြေး၍ အကြောင်းအရာအကုန်အစင်ကို ပြောပြလေ၏။-
29 Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban. Laban ran out to the man, to the spring.
၂၉ရေဗက္ကတွင်လာဗန်ဟုနာမည်တွင်သောမောင် ရှိ၏။ သူသည်ထိုသူရှိရာရေတွင်းသို့ပြေး လေ၏။-
30 When he saw the ring, and the bracelets on his sister’s hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, “This is what the man said to me,” he came to the man. Behold, he was standing by the camels at the spring.
၃၀လာဗန်သည်နှမတွင်နှာဆွဲတန်ဆာနှင့်လက် ကောက်များဝတ်ဆင်ထားသည်ကိုမြင်သည့်ပြင် ထိုသူကနှမအားပြောပြသမျှကိုလည်း ကြားရ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သူသည်ရေတွင်းနားတွင် ကုလားအုတ်တို့အနီး၌ရပ်နေသောအာဗြ ဟံ၏အစေခံထံသို့သွား၍၊-
31 He said, “Come in, you blessed of Yahweh. Why do you stand outside? For I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.”
၃၁``ထာဝရဘုရားထံမှကောင်းချီးမင်္ဂလာခံ ရသောသူ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်၏အိမ်သို့ကြွပါ။ ဤနေရာ တွင်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ရပ်နေပါသနည်း။ ကျွန်ုပ် ၏အိမ်တွင်သင်တည်းခိုရန်အခန်းကိုအသင့် ပြင်ပြီးပါပြီ။ သင်၏ကုလားအုတ်များနေ စရာလည်းရှိပါသည်'' ဟုခေါ်ဖိတ်လေသည်။
32 The man came into the house, and he unloaded the camels. He gave straw and feed for the camels, and water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.
၃၂သို့ဖြစ်၍ထိုသူသည်လာဗန်တို့၏အိမ်သို့လိုက် ပါလာ၏။ လာဗန်သည်ကုလားအုတ်များမှဝန် စည်များကိုချပြီးလျှင် တိရစ္ဆာန်များကိုကောက် ရိုးနှင့်အစာကျွေးလေ၏။ ထိုနောက်အာဗြဟံ၏ အစေခံနှင့်သူ၏အဖော်တို့ခြေဆေးရန်ရေ ကိုလည်းယူခဲ့သည်။-
33 Food was set before him to eat, but he said, “I will not eat until I have told my message.” Laban said, “Speak on.”
၃၃သူတို့အတွက်စားစရာကိုပြင်ဆင်ပြီးသော အခါထိုသူက``ကျွန်ုပ်ပြောစရာရှိသမျှ ကိုပြောပြပြီးမှအစာစားပါမည်'' ဟုဆို လေ၏။ လာဗန်က``ပြောပါ'' ဟုဆို၏။-
34 He said, “I am Abraham’s servant.
၃၄ထိုသူက``ကျွန်ုပ်သည်အာဗြဟံ၏အစေခံ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။-
35 Yahweh has blessed my master greatly. He has become great. Yahweh has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male servants and female servants, and camels and donkeys.
၃၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်အားကောင်း ချီးမင်္ဂလာများစွာချပေးသဖြင့် သူသည်ကြွယ် ဝချမ်းသာလာပါသည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သူ့အားသိုးအုပ်၊ ဆိတ်အုပ်၊ ရွှေ၊ ငွေ၊ ကျွန်ယောကျာ်း၊ ကျွန်မိန်းမ၊ ကုလားအုတ်နှင့်မြည်းများကိုပေး တော်မူပြီ။-
36 Sarah, my master’s wife, bore a son to my master when she was old. He has given all that he has to him.
၃၆ကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၏မယားစာရာသည်အရွယ်အို မှသားတစ်ယောက်ကိုဖွားမြင်ခဲ့သည်။ ကျွန်ုပ် ၏သခင်သည်ထိုသားအားမိမိပိုင်ဆိုင်သမျှ တို့ကိုပေးအပ်ထားပါသည်။-
37 My master made me swear, saying, ‘You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live,
၃၇သခင်ကလည်းကျွန်ုပ်အား`သင်သည်ငါ၏သား အတွက် မယားကိုခါနာန်ပြည်ရှိအမျိုးသမီး များထဲမှမရှာရ။-
38 but you shall go to my father’s house, and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son.’
၃၈ငါ့အဖအမျိုးသားများဖြစ်သောငါ၏ဆွေ မျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထံသို့သွား၍ ငါ့သားအတွက် မယားကိုရှာရမည်' မှာကြားပါသည်။ ထိုမှာ ကြားချက်ကိုနာခံပါမည်ဟုကတိသစ္စာခံစေ ပါသည်။-
39 I asked my master, ‘What if the woman will not follow me?’
၃၉ထိုအခါကျွန်ုပ်က`အကယ်၍အမျိုးသမီးက ကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်မလိုက်လိုဟုဆိုသော်မည်သို့ပြုလုပ် ရပါမည်နည်း' ဟုသခင်အားမေးသော်၊-
40 He said to me, ‘Yahweh, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you, and prosper your way. You shall take a wife for my son from my relatives, and of my father’s house.
၄၀သခင်က`ငါအမြဲရိုသေနာခံသောထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် မိမိ၏ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကိုသင်နှင့် အတူစေလွှတ်၍သင့်အားအောင်မြင်မှုကိုပေး တော်မူမည်။ သင်သည်ငါ၏အမျိုးသားချင်း ဖြစ်သောငါ့အဖမိသားစုထဲမှ ငါ့သား အတွက်မယားကိုရှာယူခဲ့ရမည်။-
41 Then you will be clear from my oath, when you come to my relatives. If they don’t give her to you, you shall be clear from my oath.’
၄၁သင်ထားသောကတိသစ္စာပျက်ပြယ်စေမည့်နည်း တစ်နည်းသာလျှင်ရှိသည်။ သင်သည်ငါ၏ဆွေ မျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထံသို့သွား၍သူတို့က ငြင်းဆိုလျှင် သင်ထားသောကတိသစ္စာပျက် ပြယ်စေ' ဟုဖြေကြားပါ၏။
42 I came today to the spring, and said, ‘Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, if now you do prosper my way which I go—
၄၂``ကျွန်ုပ်သည်ရေတွင်းသို့ယနေ့ရောက်ရှိသော အခါ`အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်အာဗြဟံ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြုလုပ်ရ မည့်အမှုကိစ္စကိုအောင်မြင်စေတော်မူပါ။-
43 behold, I am standing by this spring of water. Let it happen, that the maiden who comes out to draw, to whom I will say, “Please give me a little water from your pitcher to drink,”
၄၃ယခုရေတွင်းသို့ရောက်ရှိပါပြီ။ မိန်းမပျိုတစ် ဦးရေခပ်လာသောအခါသူ့အား`ရေတစ်ပေါက် လောက်သောက်ပါရစေ' ဟုတောင်းပါမည်။-
44 then she tells me, “Drink, and I will also draw for your camels,”—let her be the woman whom Yahweh has appointed for my master’s son.’
၄၄အကယ်၍သူက`သောက်ပါ။ သင်၏ကုလားအုတ် များအတွက်ရေကိုခပ်ပေးပါဦးမည်' ဟုဆို လျှင်ထိုမိန်းမပျိုသည်အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၏သား အတွက်ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ရွေးချယ်သောမယား ဖြစ်ပါစေသော' ဟုဆုတောင်းပါသည်။-
45 Before I had finished speaking in my heart, behold, Rebekah came out with her pitcher on her shoulder. She went down to the spring, and drew. I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’
၄၅စိတ်ထဲ၌ထိုကဲ့သို့ဆုတောင်း၍မပြီးမီ ရေဗက္ကသည် ပခုံးပေါ်တွင်ရေခရားတင်လျက် ရေခပ်ရန်ရေတွင်းသို့လာပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်ကသူ့ အား`ရေတစ်ပေါက်လောက်သောက်ပါရစေ' ဟု တောင်း၏။-
46 She hurried and let down her pitcher from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink.’ So I drank, and she also gave the camels a drink.
၄၆သူသည်ပခုံးပေါ်မှခရားကိုအလျင်အမြန် ချလျက်`သောက်ပါ၊ သင်၏ကုလားအုတ်များကို လည်းရေတိုက်ပါမည်' ဟုဆိုပါသည်။ ထိုကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်ရေသောက်ရပါ၏။ သူကကုလားအုတ် များကိုလည်းရေတိုက်ပေးပါ၏။-
47 I asked her, and said, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ She said, ‘The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bore to him.’ I put the ring on her nose, and the bracelets on her hands.
၄၇ကျွန်ုပ်က`သင်သည်မည်သူ၏သမီးဖြစ်သနည်း' ဟုမေးသော်သူက`ကျွန်မသည်နာခေါ်နှင့်မိလ ခါတို့၏မြေး၊ ဗေသွေလ၏သမီးဖြစ်ပါသည်' ဟုဖြေပါသည်။ ထိုအခါကျွန်ုပ်သည်သူ၏နှာ ခေါင်းတွင်နှာဆွဲကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ လက်တွင်လက် ကောက်များကိုလည်းကောင်းဝတ်ဆင်ပေးပါ သည်။-
48 I bowed my head, and worshiped Yahweh, and blessed Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter for his son.
၄၈ထိုနောက်ကျွန်ုပ်သည်ထာဝရဘုရားအား ဦးညွှတ်ရှိခိုး၍ကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၏သားအတွက် မယားရှိရာဆွေမျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထံသို့ ဆိုက်ဆိုက်မြိုက်မြိုက်ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူသောကျွန်ုပ် သခင်အာဗြဟံ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပါသည်။-
49 Now if you will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me. If not, tell me, that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left.”
၄၉သင်တို့သည်ကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်အတွက်ကရုဏာ ပြတော်မူလျက်သစ္စာကတိအတိုင်းဆောင်ရွက် နိုင်မည်၊ မဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည်ကိုသိပါရစေ။ မဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ဟုဆိုလျှင်လည်းသိပါရစေ။ သို့မှသာကျွန်ုပ်မည်ကဲ့သို့ဆက်လက်ဆောင်ရွက် ရမည်ကိုဆုံးဖြတ်နိုင်ပါမည်'' ဟုပြောလေ၏။
50 Then Laban and Bethuel answered, “The thing proceeds from Yahweh. We can’t speak to you bad or good.
၅၀လာဗန်နှင့်ဗေသွေလတို့က``ဤအမှုကိစ္စသည် ထာဝရဘုရားစီရင်သောအမှုကိစ္စဖြစ်ခြင်း ကြောင့်ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကအဆုံးအဖြတ်ပေးရန် မလိုပါ။-
51 Behold, Rebekah is before you. Take her, and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as Yahweh has spoken.”
၅၁သင့်ရှေ့တွင်ရေဗက္ကရှိပါ၏။ သူ့ကိုခေါ်ဆောင် သွားပါလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားကိုယ်တော်တိုင် မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်းသူ့အားသင့်သခင် သား၏မယားအဖြစ်ခေါ်ဆောင်သွားပါ လော့'' ဟုဖြေကြ၏။-
52 When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed himself down to the earth to Yahweh.
၅၂အာဗြဟံ၏အစေခံသည်ထိုစကားကို ကြားရလျှင် ထာဝရဘုရားအားဦးညွှတ် ရှိခိုးလေသည်။-
53 The servant brought out jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing, and gave them to Rebekah. He also gave precious things to her brother and her mother.
၅၃ထိုနောက်သူသည်ရွှေငွေအဝတ်တန်ဆာများ ကိုထုတ်၍ရေဗက္ကအားပေး၏။ ရေဗက္က၏မောင် နှင့်မိခင်တို့အားလည်းအဖိုးထိုက်တန်သော လက်ဆောင်များကိုပေး၏။
54 They ate and drank, he and the men who were with him, and stayed all night. They rose up in the morning, and he said, “Send me away to my master.”
၅၄ထိုနောက်အာဗြဟံ၏အစေခံနှင့် အဖော်တို့ သည်စားသောက်ကြပြီးလျှင် ထိုအိမ်၌ညအိပ် ၍နံနက်အိပ်ရာမှနိုးကြသောအခါ အာဗြဟံ ၏အစေခံက``သခင်ထံသို့ပြန်ပါရစေ'' ဟု ပန်ကြား၏။
55 Her brother and her mother said, “Let the young lady stay with us a few days, at least ten. After that she will go.”
၅၅ထိုအခါရေဗက္က၏မောင်နှင့်မိခင်တို့က``မိန်း ကလေးအားကျွန်ုပ်တို့နှင့်အတူဆယ်ရက်ခန့် မျှနေစေပြီးမှသွားပါ'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
56 He said to them, “Don’t hinder me, since Yahweh has prospered my way. Send me away that I may go to my master.”
၅၆ထိုသူက``ကျွန်ုပ်ကိုမတားပါနှင့်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်ကျွန်ုပ်လာရသောကိစ္စကိုထမြောက် အောင်မြင်စေတော်မူပြီဖြစ်၍သခင့်ထံသို့ ပြန်ပါရစေ'' ဟုပြန်ပြော၏။
57 They said, “We will call the young lady, and ask her.”
၅၇တစ်ဖန်သူတို့က``မိန်းကလေးကိုခေါ်၍သူ ၏သဘောကိုမေးကြည့်ကြပါစို့'' ဟုပြော ကြ၏။-
58 They called Rebekah, and said to her, “Will you go with this man?” She said, “I will go.”
၅၈သူတို့သည်ရေဗက္ကကိုခေါ်၍``သင်သည်ဤသူ နှင့်အတူလိုက်သွားလိုသလော'' ဟုမေး၏။ ``လိုက်သွားပါမည်'' ဟုဖြေကြားသဖြင့်၊
59 They sent away Rebekah, their sister, with her nurse, Abraham’s servant, and his men.
၅၉ရေဗက္ကနှင့်သူ၏အထိန်းကိုအာဗြဟံ၏ အစေခံလူစုနှင့်အတူလိုက်ပါသွားစေ ကြ၏။-
60 They blessed Rebekah, and said to her, “Our sister, may you be the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let your offspring possess the gate of those who hate them.”
၆၀သူတို့က၊ ``ငါတို့၏နှမသည်လူပေါင်းသိန်းသန်းတို့၏ မိခင်ဖြစ်ပါစေ။ သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်တို့သည်ရန်သူတို့၏မြို့ များကို တိုက်ခိုက်အောင်မြင်ကြပါစေ'' ဟုဆို၍ ရေဗက္ကအားကောင်းချီးပေးကြ၏။
61 Rebekah arose with her ladies. They rode on the camels, and followed the man. The servant took Rebekah, and went his way.
၆၁ထိုနောက်ရေဗက္ကနှင့်သူ၏ကျွန်မများတို့သည် ကုလားအုတ်များကိုစီး၍ အာဗြဟံ၏အစေ ခံနှင့်အတူလိုက်ပါသွားကြလေသည်။
62 Isaac came from the way of Beer Lahai Roi, for he lived in the land of the South.
၆၂ဣဇာက်သည်``ငါ့ကိုမြင်တော်မူသည့်အသက်ရှင် တော်မူသောအရှင်၏ရေတွင်း'' ဟူသောနာမည် ရှိရာတောကန္တာရသို့ရောက်လာ၍ ခါနာန်ပြည် တောင်ပိုင်းတွင်နေထိုင်လျက်ရှိ၏။-
63 Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the evening. He lifted up his eyes and looked. Behold, there were camels coming.
၆၃ညနေချမ်းအချိန်၌သူသည်လယ်ကွင်းထဲ တွင်ကုလားအုတ်များလာနေသည်ကိုမြင် ရလေ၏။-
64 Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she got off the camel.
၆၄ရေဗက္ကသည်ဣဇာက်ကိုမြင်လျှင်ကုလားအုတ် ပေါ်မှဆင်း၍၊-
65 She said to the servant, “Who is the man who is walking in the field to meet us?” The servant said, “It is my master.” She took her veil, and covered herself.
၆၅``လယ်ကွင်းထဲ၌ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ထံသို့လာနေသူ ကားမည်သူပါနည်း'' ဟုအာဗြဟံ၏အစေ ခံအားမေးလေ၏။ ``ကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်ဖြစ်ပါသည်'' ဟုဖြေလျှင် ရေဗက္ကသည်ပုဝါကိုယူ၍မျက်နှာကိုဖုံးလိုက်၏။
66 The servant told Isaac all the things that he had done.
၆၆အစေခံကလည်းမိမိဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သမျှကို ဣဇာက်အားအကုန်အစင်ပြောပြလေ၏။-
67 Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife. He loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
၆၇ထိုနောက်ဣဇာက်သည်မိမိ၏အမိစာရာနေ ထိုင်ခဲ့သောတဲထဲသို့ရေဗက္ကကိုခေါ်ဆောင် သွား၍အကြင်လင်မယားဖြစ်လာကြ၏။ ဣဇာက်သည်ရေဗက္ကကိုချစ်မြတ်နိုး၏။ ထို့ ကြောင့်သူ၏မိခင်ကွယ်လွန်၍ဝမ်းနည်း ကြေကွဲရာမှစိတ်သက်သာရာရလေသည်။
