< Galatians 5 >

1 Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
KOMAIL ari dadaurata en Kristus a kotin kamaioda kitail, komail ari kalaka pein komail, pwe komail der pur ong ni omail kanaudok.
2 Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.
Kilang, ngai Paulus indai ong komail, ma komail pan iang sirkomsais, nan Kristus sota pan katepai ong komail.
3 Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
I pil kadede ong aramas karos, me pan sirkomsaisela, i en kapwaiada kapung pokon.
4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
Komail, me men pung kila kapung o, muei sanger Kristus o pup wei sanger mak.
5 For we through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
A kit kin auiaui ren Ngen ki poson kaporopor en pung.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.
Pwe ren Kristus Iesus sirkomsais de sosirkomsais sota meakot, pwe poson ta, me kin sansaleki dodok en limpok.
7 You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
Komail tanger mau, is me karompwa komail, pwe ender peiki ong melel?
8 This persuasion is not from him who calls you.
I song en kaweid sota kin tapi sang me molipe komail er.
9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.
Kalap kis kin kamutala dolepa karos;
10 I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.
I kaporoporeki ren Kaun o me komail sota pan wia eu lamalam toror. A me kin kaping komail da, pan lodi ong kapung o, sota lipilipil is i.
11 But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.
A ngai, ri ai kan, ma i poden padaki duen sirkomsais, menda i kankangerangirla? Pwe ma iduen, a solar men kamakar pan lopu.
12 I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.
I men irail me kin kawe komail la, ren pil kawela pein irail.
13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
A ri ai kan, komail paeker ong maio, komail der men maio, pwe tiak en pali uduk en pwaida, a komail papa amen amen ni limpok.
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Pwe kapung pon kapwai pan masan ta ieu: Koe en pok ong men imp om due pein uk.
15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.
A ma komail pakolok kaokaoe amen o amen, kalaka, pwe komail de momela.
16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
A ngai inda: Aluki Ngen komail ap sota pan kapwaiada inong sued en uduk.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
Pwe uduk kin inong iong me toror sang Ngen, a Ngen kin kotin inong iong me toror sang uduk, a ira parongarong pena, iei me komail sota wia kida, me komail kin men wia.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
A ma Ngen pan kotin kalua komail, komail sota mimi pan kapung.
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
Wiawia kan en uduk me sansal. Iet akan: Nenek, samin, monepil,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
Pongi ong ani mal, wun ani, kailuk, akatat, luak, makar, akamai, kamauouo, padak likam.
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.
Peirin, kamom soko, kaped en manga ape. Iran mepukat i padaki ong komail er mas o, me irail, me kin kapwaiada mepukat, sota pan sosoki wein Kot.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
A iet akan wa en Ngen: Limpok, peren, popol, kanongama, kadek, kamau, poson, opampap liki sang me sued.
23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Sota kapung pan mepukat.
24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
A me sapwilim en Kristus, kalopuelar uduk iangaki tiak sued o inong sued akan.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.
Ma kitail memaureki Ngen, kitail en pil alualuki Ngen o.
26 Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
Kitail der inong iong wau ren aramas, o der kamorongada ong amen amen, o der peipeirin amen amen.
