Esther 4
1 Now when Mordecai found out all that was done, Mordecai tore his clothes and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the middle of the city, and wailed loudly and bitterly.
১মৰ্দখয়ে এই সকলো ঘটনাৰ কথা জানিবলৈ পাই নিজৰ কাপোৰ ফালিলে, আৰু চট কাপোৰ পিন্ধি ছাঁই সানি নগৰৰ মাজলৈ গৈ বেদনাৰে চিঞৰি চিঞৰি কান্দিব ধৰিলে।
2 He came even before the king’s gate, for no one is allowed inside the king’s gate clothed with sackcloth.
২তেওঁ কেৱল ৰাজ দুৱাৰলৈকেহে গ’ল; কাৰণ চট কাপোৰ পিন্ধি কোনো এজনকো ৰাজদুৱাৰত সোমাব দিয়া হোৱা নাছিল।
3 In every province, wherever the king’s commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
৩প্ৰত্যেক প্ৰদেশৰ যিবোৰ ঠাইত ৰজাৰ সেই আদেশ আৰু আজ্ঞা পালে, সেই সকলো ঠাইত যিহুদী লোকসকলৰ মাজত মহাশোক, লঘোন, ক্ৰন্দন আৰু বিলাপ হ’ল। তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ অনেক লোকে চট কাপোৰ পিন্ধি ছাঁইৰ ওপৰত শুই পৰিল।
4 Esther’s maidens and her eunuchs came and told her this, and the queen was exceedingly grieved. She sent clothing to Mordecai, to replace his sackcloth, but he didn’t receive it.
৪ইষ্টেৰৰ আলপৈচান ধৰা যুৱতী আৰু তেওঁৰ নপুংসক দাস সকলে যেতিয়া তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি সেই কথা ক’লে, তেতিয়া ৰাণীয়ে মনত অতিশয় বেজাৰ পালে। তেওঁ মৰ্দখয়ৰ বাবে কাপোৰ দি পঠিয়ালে (যাতে মৰ্দখয়ে চট কাপোৰ খুলি সেই কাপোৰ পিন্ধিব পাৰে) কিন্তু তেওঁ সেইবোৰ গ্রহণ নকৰিলে।
5 Then Esther called for Hathach, one of the king’s eunuchs, whom he had appointed to attend her, and commanded him to go to Mordecai, to find out what this was, and why it was.
৫তেতিয়া ইষ্টেৰ তেওঁক পৰিচৰ্যা কৰিবলৈ ৰজাই নিযুক্ত কৰা হথাক নামৰ এজন ৰাজ-নপুংসকক মাতি পঠিয়ালে। তেওঁক মৰ্দখয়ৰ লগত কি ঘটিছিল আৰু তাৰ মানে কি সেই বিষয়ে জানিবলৈ তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ যাবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিলে।
6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai, to the city square which was before the king’s gate.
৬সেয়ে হথাকে ৰাজদুৱাৰৰ সন্মুখৰ নগৰৰ চকলৈ গৈ মৰ্দখয়ক ল’গ ধৰিলে।
7 Mordecai told him of all that had happened to him, and the exact sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king’s treasuries for the destruction of the Jews.
৭তেতিয়া মৰ্দখয়ে নিজৰ লগত যি ঘটিছিল, আৰু যিহুদী লোকসকলক বধ কৰিবলৈ হামনে যি পৰিমাণৰ ৰূপ ৰাজভঁৰালত দিবলৈ প্ৰতিজ্ঞা কৰিছে, সেই সকলো বিষয় তেওঁক ক’লে।
8 He also gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given out in Susa to destroy them, to show it to Esther, and to declare it to her, and to urge her to go in to the king to make supplication to him, and to make request before him for her people.
৮ইহুদী সকলৰ বিনাশৰ বাবে যি আজ্ঞা পত্ৰ চুচনত বিলোৱা হৈছিল, তাৰ এখন নকলো তেওঁক দিলে; যাতে সেই পত্রৰ নকল ইষ্টেৰক দেখুৱাব পাৰে আৰু সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁক জনাব পাৰে, যাতে ইষ্টেৰে এই বিষয়ে ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ তেওঁৰ আগত স্বজাতীয় লোকসকলৰ বাবে তেওঁলোকৰ হৈ মিনতি আৰু প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিব পাৰে, সেই বাবে তেওঁক ওপৰত দ্বায়ীত্ব দিবলৈ ক’লে।
9 Hathach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.
৯সেয়ে হথাকে গৈ মৰ্দখয়ে তেওঁক যিবোৰ কথা ক’লে, সেই সকলো কথা ইষ্টেৰক জনালে।
10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a message to Mordecai:
১০তেতিয়া ইষ্টেৰে হথাকৰ লগত কথা পাতিলে। তেওঁক মৰ্দখয়ৰ ওচৰলৈ উভতি যাবলৈ কৈ,
11 “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that whoever, whether man or woman, comes to the king into the inner court without being called, there is one law for him, that he be put to death, except those to whom the king might hold out the golden scepter, that he may live. I have not been called to come in to the king these thirty days.”
১১ইষ্টেৰে হথাক ক’লে, “ৰজাৰ দাস সকল আৰু ৰজাৰ প্ৰদেশৰ সকলো লোকেই জানে যে, পুৰুষ বা মহিলাই হওক, ৰজাই নমতালৈকে যি কোনোৱে ৰজাক ল’গ ধৰিবলৈ ভিতৰৰ চোতাললৈ যায়, তেওঁৰ কাৰণে কেৱল এটাই বিধান আছে যে, তেওঁৰ অৱশ্যেই মৃত্যু দণ্ড হ’ব, কেৱল যি জনলৈ ৰজাই সোণাময় ৰাজদণ্ড ডালি মেলি দিয়ে, সেই জনেহে জীয়াই থাকিব পাৰে। আজি ত্ৰিশ দিন হ’ল, মই ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ যাবলৈ আদেশ পোৱা নাই।”
12 They told Esther’s words to Mordecai.
১২সেয়ে ইষ্টেৰৰ এই কথা হাথকে মৰ্দখয়ক জনালে।
13 Then Mordecai asked them to return this answer to Esther: “Don’t think to yourself that you will escape in the king’s house any more than all the Jews.
১৩তেতিয়া মৰ্দখয়ে ইষ্টেৰলৈ সেই বাৰ্তা পুনৰ ঘূৰাই পঠালে: “যিহুদী লোকসকলৰ মাজৰ তুমি ৰাজপ্রসাদত থকাৰ বাবে তুমি যে ৰক্ষা পাবা, তেনে নাভাবিবা।
14 For if you remain silent now, then relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Who knows if you haven’t come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
১৪যদি তুমি এই সময়ত নিজম দি থকা, তেনেহলে যিহুদী লোকসকলক সহায় আৰু উদ্ধাৰ কৰিবলৈ আন কোনো ঠাইৰ পৰা কোনো এজন আহিব; কিন্তু তুমি আৰু তোমাৰ পিতৃ-বংশ বিনষ্ট হ’ব। কোনে জানে এই বিপদৰ সময়ৰ বাবেই হয়তু তুমি ৰাণী পদ পাইছা?”
15 Then Esther asked them to answer Mordecai,
১৫তেতিয়া ইষ্টেৰে মৰ্দখয়লৈ এই উত্তৰ দি পঠালে,
16 “Go, gather together all the Jews who are present in Susa, and fast for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I and my maidens will also fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
১৬“আপুনি যাওক; আৰু চুচনত বাস কৰা সকলো যিহুদী লোকসকলক একগোট কৰক। অাপোনালোক মোৰ কাৰণে লঘোন দিয়ক। তিনি দিন তিনি ৰাতি একো পান নকৰিব নাইবা ভোজন নকৰিব। মই আৰু মোৰ যুৱতী দাস সকলেও সেই একেদৰে লঘোন দিম। তাৰ পাছত যদিও এই কাৰ্য নিয়মৰ বিৰুদ্ধে হয়, তথাপি মই ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ যাম। যদি বিনষ্ট হ’ব লাগে তেনেহ’লে মই হ’ম।”
17 So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.
১৭মৰ্দখয়ে ইষ্টেৰে তেওঁক কোৱাৰ দৰে কৰিবলৈ গ’ল।
