< Ephesians 5 >

1 Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
Ku lulo mutule antu a kumutyata Itunda, anga ang'yinya akwe nua loilwe.
2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Mugende mu ulowa, uu uuu anga u Kristo nai ukuloilwe uses, ai wipumilye mukola ku nsoko itu. Ng'wenso ai watulaa isongeelyo ni ipolya, kutula unyukiilo nu uzaa nua kumuloeelya Itunda.
3 But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;
Ugoolya ang'wi u ubii wihi ni nsula mbibii kusinja ileke kutambulwa mukati anyu, anga niitakiwe ku ahuiili.
4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.
Ang'wi u bipilwa uteke kutambulwa, ntambu nia kipungu, ang'wi myete na kuhumya minyala, niiza Ibahu badala akwe utule ukoli u ulumbiilyi.
5 Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
7 Therefore don’t be partakers with them.
Uugwa uleke kihanguila palung'wi nienso.
8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
Kunsoko unyenye ung'wandyo ai matulaa kiti, ku iti itungili matulaa alyuuku ku Mukulu. Uugwa gendi anga ang'inya nia lyuuku.
9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
Kunsoko i nkani nia welu ihanguie uuzaa wihi, tai ane ni tai.
10 proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.
Duma iko ni kikuloeelya ku Mukulu.
11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
Uleke kutula ukoli umuhangu mu milimo a kiti ni migila anga nkali, badala akwe miike ng'walyi.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
Kunsoko imakani makitung'w ni enso mu kiti inge minyala ikulu ga nu kumaganula.
13 But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
14 Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
Kunsoko kila ikintu ni kipihuiwe kutulaa mu welu, uugwa wiligitya izi, ''Uka, uewe nu lae, hangi humbuka kupuma mu ashi nu Kristo ukelya migulya ako''.
15 Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
Uugwa tuli nu uhugu iti ni mukugenda, shanga anga antu niagila u ulingi.
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Liguni itungo kunsoko imahiku inge.
17 Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Muleke kutula apunga, badala akwe lingi ntuni u ulowa nua Mukulu.
18 Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
Leki kugali ku magai, witongeela mu ugazanja, badala akwe mizuligwe nu ng'wau ng'welu.
19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Itambulyi nu kila ung'wi nu anyu ku malumbiilyo, ni ikulyo' ni mimbo nia mu nkolo. Imbi nu kikulya ku nkolo ku Mukulu.
20 giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
Mahiku ga pumya ilumbi ku makani ihi mu lina ni lang'wa Kristo yesu Mukulu nu itu kung'wi Itunda Tata.
21 subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Asungu, ipumyi ku agoha ni anyu, anga ku Mukulu.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
Kunsoko umugoha inge itwe ku musungu, anga u Kristo nuili itwe ku itekeelo. Inge muguni nua muili.
24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Kuiti anga Itekeelo ni lili pihi ang'wa Kristo. uu u uu iasungu kusinja itume uugwa ku agoha ni ao mu kila ikani.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,
Agoha, alowi iasungu anyu anga uu uKristo nai uliloilwe itekeelo hangi akipumya u mukola kunsoko akwe.
26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
Ai witumile nianso iti itule tyelu. nai uleilye ku kuloja ku mazi mu lukani.
27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.
28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
Ku nzila yiyo yiyoo, agoha atakiwe kualowa i asungu ao anga i miili ao. Nuanso nu muloilwe u musungu nuakwe wiloilwe u mukola.
29 For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,
Kutili ga nung'wi niiza u ubipiwe u muili nu akwe. Badala akwe wiuzipya nu kuulowa anga u Kristo ga nai uliloilwe itekeelo.
30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
kunsoko usese inge kianya muhangu nia muili nu akwe.
31 “For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”
“Kunsoko iyi umugoha ukumuleka u tata nu akwe nu nyinya nua akwe nu ki tunginkana nu musungu nu akwe, hangi nianso ni abiili akutula muiili ung'wi''.
32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.
Uwu ai ituile wipihile. Kuiti kuligitya kutula u Kristo ni Itekeelo.
33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Kuiti kila ung'wi nuanyu kusinja nua mulowe umusungu nuakwe anga u mukola, nu musungu kusinja amukulye u mugoha nuakwe.
