< Ephesians 2 >

1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins,
Nangho khatvei chu nasei ngailou nau le na chonset nau tamtah jeh a athia nahi tauve.
2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience. (aiōn g165)
Nangho vannoi mite adang chengse tobanga chu chonset a hing nahiuva, Diabol thua nananun'u ahin, akimulou vannoi thuneiho thununna noiya uma nanahiuve. Amahi Pathen thua nunglou ho lungsunga natonga lhagao chu ahi. (aiōn g165)
3 We also all once lived among them in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
Eiho jouse hitia chu ihin jiu anahin, tahsaa ilungtup hou le ichonset nau lung ngaichat ho chu juiya inahiu ahi. Eiho ihinau ngaiya chu midang dang ho tobanga eiho jong Pathen lunghanna noiya uma inahi tauve.
4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
Hinlah Pathen hi khotona a haotah ahijeh'in, chule Aman eingailut lheh jeh uvin,
5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
Eiho ichonset jeh uva athia inahi jeng vangun, Aman Christa chu athia kona akaithou tah jeh in, hinna chu Aman eipeh u ahitai (Nangho hi Pathen lungsetna jal'a bou huhhing nahiu ahi).
6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Ajeh iham itileh Aman eiho thinaa konin Christa to eikai thou tha tauvin, chule Amatoh vanmun hoa eitou sah tauve, ajeh chu eiho Christa Yeshua to hing khoma ihi tauve.
7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; (aiōn g165)
Hitia chu Pathen in ahung lhung ding khanghoa alungsetna atepibei haosatna chu avetsahna a chule ichung uva hepina chu eiho jouse dinga athilbol jouse chu Christa Yeshua a eimu sah u ahitai. (aiōn g165)
8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Nanghon natahsan pet uva chu Pathen in alungsetnaa na huhhingu ahitai. Chule nanghon hichu na kithang atpi theiyu ahipoi, Pathena kona thilpeh khat ahiye.
9 not of works, that no one would boast.
Huhhingna hi thilpha iboldoh jaluva tohman'a eiki peuva ahipoi, hitia hi i-lah uva koima akisonpia aumlouna dinga ahi.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
Ajeh iham itileh eiho Pathen khutsoh ihiuve. Aman eiho Christa Yeshua a athah a eisemu hi, Aman masanga pat a eiho dinga atohgon thilpha ho chu iboldoh theina dingu ahi.
11 Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision” (in the flesh, made by hands),
Nangho chidang namdang ten gampam mi nahiu sumil hih un. Nangho hi chep kitanlou Pathen tahsanlou tia Juda miten nakouvu ahi, acheptanu kisonpia neiya, hichun atahsa uva bou amelchihna uma, alhagaovu vang hilou ahi.
12 that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Chuche laiya chu nangho Christa beiya nana hin'u ahi. Nangho Israel namsung mia kona khendoh a pamse nahiu ahin, chule nanghon Pathen in amaho toh akitepnaho chu nana hepouve. Nangho hiche vannoiya hi Pathen neilou le kinepna neilouva nahinu ahi.
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
Hinlah tua hi nangho Christa Yeshua to nahin khomu ahitai. Khatvei chu Pathena kona gamlatah nahiu ahin, tuavang hi Christa thisan jal'a Ama koma kipui naiya nahi tauve.
14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation,
Ajeh iham itileh Christa chun eiho henga cham-lungmon ahinpoh lut ahitai. Aman Juda-mite le chidang namdang te kikah a kikhenna daltan abanglai a panga chu Atahsa tah a thingpel chunga khat a agopkhomsoh ahitai.
15 having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace,
Athina a kon chun aman chidang namdangte hoptha lou hiche chonna dan ho chu achaina asem ahitai. Aman hiche abollo na ajeh chu Judahte le chidang namdangte kikah a kichamna umsah a anamniuva kona mithah khat semdoh ding ati ahi.
16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.
Anilhon a chu tipum khat a agop khomtheina dinga Christa chu ania dinga thingpel a thia, chujala chu namthah asemdoh a, chule aniu kah a kitomona chu asuhmang ahitai.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.
Aman hiche kichamna thupha chu Amaa kona gamla tah a um chidang namdang mi nangho henga, chule anailama um Juda-mite henga ahin lhut ahitai.
18 For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
Tua hi eiho jouse hi Christan eibolpeh u ahitah jeh a, hiche Lhagao Theng vanga chu Pa henga ihung theiyu ahitai.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,
Hitia chu tua hi chidang namdang mi nangho hi kholgam mi le gampam mi hitalouva, Pathen mithengte jouse toh agam mi hina naneikhom'u ahitai. Nangho Pathen insungmi chu nahi tauve.
20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;
Akigoma eiho hi Ama in chu ihiuvin, solchah ho le themgao ho bulphuna a chu kisadoh a ihiuve. Inninga songpia panga chu Christa Yeshua Ama tah ahi.
21 in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;
Eiho chingtheitah a Amato kijopmat a ihiuvin, Pakai dinga hou-in theng khat ihiuve.
22 in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
Ama vanga chu chidang namdang nangho jong Pathen in a-Lhagaova chenna in'a anei chu nahi tauve.
