< Daniel 3 >

1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
Nebukadnessari ọba gbẹ́ ère wúrà kan, èyí tí gíga rẹ̀ tó àádọ́rùn-ún ìgbọ̀nwọ́, tí fífẹ̀ rẹ̀ tó ẹsẹ̀ mẹ́fà, ó sì gbé e kalẹ̀ ní pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ Dura ní agbègbè ìjọba Babeli.
2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Nígbà náà ni ọba ránṣẹ́ pe àwọn ọmọ-aládé, àwọn olóyè, àwọn ìgbìmọ̀, àwọn baálẹ̀, àwọn balógun, àwọn onídàájọ́, àwọn olùtọ́jú ìṣúra àti gbogbo àwọn olórí agbègbè ìjọba láti wá sí ibi ìyàsímímọ́ ère tí ọba Nebukadnessari gbé kalẹ̀.
3 Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn ọmọ-aládé, àwọn olóyè, àwọn onímọ̀ràn, àwọn olùtọ́jú ìṣúra, àwọn onídàájọ́ àti gbogbo àwọn olórí agbègbè ìjọba, wọn péjọ láti ya ère tí Nebukadnessari ọba gbé kalẹ̀ sí mímọ́, gbogbo wọn sì dúró síwájú u rẹ̀.
4 Then the herald cried aloud, “To you it is commanded, peoples, nations, and languages,

Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá kọ̀ tí kò bá wólẹ̀, kí ó fi orí balẹ̀, kí a ju ẹni náà sínú iná ìléru.”
7 Therefore at that time, when all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, all the peoples, the nations, and the languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Nítorí náà, bí wọ́n ṣe gbọ́ ohùn ìwo, fèrè, dùùrù, ohun èlò orin olókùn, ìpè àti onírúurú orin, gbogbo ènìyàn, orílẹ̀-èdè, àti èdè gbogbo wólẹ̀, wọ́n sì fi orí balẹ̀ fún ère wúrà tí ọba Nebukadnessari gbé kalẹ̀.
8 Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near and brought accusation against the Jews.
Ní àsìkò yìí ni àwọn awòràwọ̀ bọ́ síwájú, wọ́n sì fi ẹ̀sùn kan àwọn ará Juda.
9 They answered Nebuchadnezzar the king, “O king, live for ever!
Wọ́n sọ fún ọba Nebukadnessari pé, “Kí ọba kí ó pẹ́.
10 You, O king, have made a decree that every man who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image;

12 There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, have not respected you. They don’t serve your gods, and don’t worship the golden image which you have set up.”
Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ará Juda kan wà, àwọn tí a yàn láti ṣe olórí agbègbè ìjọba Babeli: Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego, wọ́n ò ka ìwọ ọba sí. Wọn kò sin òrìṣà rẹ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọn kò fi orí balẹ̀ fún ère wúrà tí ìwọ gbé kalẹ̀.”
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in rage and fury commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. Then these men were brought before the king.
Nígbà náà ni Nebukadnessari pàṣẹ ní ìrunú àti ìbínú pé kí a mú Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego wá, wọ́n sì mú wọn wá síwájú ọba.
14 Nebuchadnezzar answered them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and you don’t worship the golden image which I have set up?
Nebukadnessari wí fún wọn wí pé, “Ṣé òtítọ́ ni, Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego wí pé ẹ̀yin kò sin òrìṣà mi àti pé ẹ̀yin kò fi orí balẹ̀ fún ère wúrà tí èmi gbé kalẹ̀.
15 Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god who will deliver you out of my hands?”
Ní ìsinsin yìí, tí ẹ̀yin bá ti gbọ́ ohùn ìwo, fèrè, dùùrù, ohun èlò orin olókùn, ìpè àti onírúurú orin, bí ẹ̀yin bá ṣetán láti wólẹ̀ kí ẹ̀yin fi orí balẹ̀ fún ère tí mo gbé kalẹ̀ ó dára. 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego dá ọba lóhùn wí pé, “Nebukadnessari, kì í ṣe fún wa láti gba ara wa sílẹ̀ níwájú u rẹ nítorí ọ̀rọ̀ yìí.
17 If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
Bí ẹ̀yin bá jù wá sínú iná ìléru, Ọlọ́run tí àwa ń sìn lágbára láti gbà wá kúrò nínú rẹ̀, yóò sì gbà wá lọ́wọ́ ọ̀ rẹ, ìwọ ọba.
18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”
Ṣùgbọ́n tí kò bá rí bẹ́ẹ̀, a fẹ́ kí ìwọ ọba mọ̀ dájú wí pé àwa kò ní sin òrìṣà rẹ bẹ́ẹ̀ ni a kò ní fi orí balẹ̀ fún ère wúrà tí ìwọ gbé kalẹ̀.”
19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.
Nígbà náà ni Nebukadnessari bínú gidigidi sí Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego, ojú u rẹ̀ sì yípadà, ó sì pàṣẹ pé, kí wọn dá iná ìléru náà kí ó gbóná ní ìlọ́po méje ju èyí tí wọn ń dá tẹ́lẹ̀,
20 He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
ó sì pàṣẹ fún àwọn alágbára nínú ogun rẹ̀ pé, kí wọ́n de Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego, kí wọn sì jù wọ́n sínú iná ìléru.
21 Then these men were bound in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other clothes, and were cast into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.
Nígbà náà ni a dè wọ́n pẹ̀lú àwọ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ wọn, ṣòkòtò, ìbòrí àti àwọn aṣọ mìíràn, a sì jù wọ́n sínú iná ìléru.
22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Nítorí bí àṣẹ ọba ṣe le tó, tí iná ìléru náà sì gbóná, ọwọ́ iná pa àwọn ọmọ-ogun tí wọ́n mú Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego lọ.
23 These three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.
Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ọkùnrin mẹ́tẹ̀ẹ̀ta náà Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego ṣubú lulẹ̀ sínú iná ìléru náà pẹ̀lú bí a ṣe dè wọ́n.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste. He spoke and said to his counselors, “Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire?” They answered the king, “True, O king.”
Nígbà náà ni ó ya Nebukadnessari ọba lẹ́nu, ó sì yára dìde dúró, ó béèrè lọ́wọ́ àwọn ìgbìmọ̀ rẹ̀ pé, “Ṣe bí àwọn mẹ́ta ni a gbé jù sínú iná?” Wọ́n wí pé, “Òtítọ́ ni ọba.”
25 He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”
Ó sì wí pé, “Wò ó! Mo rí àwọn mẹ́rin tí a kò dè tí wọ́n ń rìn ká nínú iná, ẹni kẹrin dàbí ọmọ ọlọ́run.”
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.
Nígbà náà, ni Nebukadnessari dé ẹnu-ọ̀nà iná ìléru, ó sì kígbe pé, “Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego, ìránṣẹ́ Ọlọ́run Ọ̀gá-ògo, ẹ jáde, ẹ wá níbi!” Nígbà náà ni Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego jáde láti inú iná.
27 The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed. The smell of fire wasn’t even on them.
Àwọn ọmọ-aládé, ìjòyè, baálẹ̀, àwọn ìgbìmọ̀ ọba péjọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ ọ wọn. Wọ́n rí i wí pé iná kò ní agbára lára wọn, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kò jó wọn lára, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni irun orí wọn kò jóná, àwọ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ wọn kò jóná, òórùn iná kò rùn ní ara wọn rárá.
28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.
Nígbà náà, ni Nebukadnessari sọ wí pé, “Ìbùkún ni fún Ọlọ́run Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego, ẹni tí ó rán angẹli rẹ̀ láti gba àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀lé e, wọn kọ àṣẹ ọba, dípò èyí, wọ́n fi ara wọn lélẹ̀ ju kí wọn sìn tàbí foríbalẹ̀ fún ọlọ́run mìíràn yàtọ̀ sí Ọlọ́run wọn.
29 Therefore I make a decree that every people, nation, and language which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”
Nítorí náà, mo pa àṣẹ pé, ẹnikẹ́ni, orílẹ̀-èdè tàbí èdè kan tí ó bá sọ ọ̀rọ̀-òdì sí Ọlọ́run Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego kí a gé wọn sí wẹ́wẹ́ kí a sì sọ ilé e wọn di ààtàn; nítorí kò sí ọlọ́run mìíràn tí ó lè gba ènìyàn bí irú èyí.”
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
Nígbà náà ni ọba gbé Ṣadraki, Meṣaki àti Abednego ga ní gbogbo agbègbè ìjọba Babeli.
