2 Corinthians 7
1 Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Jeriꞌ, loqꞌalaj taq qachalal, xa rumal kꞌu che ri bꞌiꞌtal loq we jastaq riꞌ chaqe, qachꞌajchꞌobꞌej qibꞌ che ronojel ri kuchꞌulujij ri qatyoꞌjal xuqujeꞌ ri qanimaꞌ, rech jeriꞌ katzꞌaqat ri tyoxalaj qachak pa ri umochꞌoj ibꞌ ri Dios.
2 Open your hearts to us. We wronged no one. We corrupted no one. We took advantage of no one.
Chujiya pa ri iwanimaꞌ. Man kꞌo ta jun qabꞌanom kꞌax che, man kꞌo ta jun mat qabꞌanom ri sukꞌal rukꞌ, man kꞌo ta jun xaq xqamenkꞌetij.
3 I say this not to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die together and live together.
Man xa ta tajin kinqꞌat tzij piꞌwiꞌ, xinbꞌij chiꞌwe chi ix kꞌo pa qanimaꞌ, rech pune kujkamik o kujkꞌasiꞌk ne junam.
4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
Qas kuꞌl na kꞌuꞌx chiꞌwe xuqujeꞌ nimal kinnaꞌo rumal iwe. Sibꞌalaj nukꞌamom nuchuqꞌabꞌ, pa ronojel ri kꞌaxkꞌolal ri kaqariqo, kapulin ri qakiꞌkotemal.
5 For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.

6 Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
Are kꞌu ri Dios ri kukubꞌisaj kikꞌuꞌx ri kebꞌisonik, xukubꞌisaj qakꞌuꞌx rukꞌ ri ropanibꞌal ri Tito.
7 and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you while he told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced still more.
Man xaq xwi ta rumal ri rulibꞌal, xane rumal ri kuꞌlibꞌal kuꞌx ri xiya loq che. Sibꞌalaj xinkiꞌkotik areꞌ xutzijoj chaqe chi sibꞌalaj kꞌax ikꞌuꞌx chwe xuqujeꞌ sibꞌalaj kinibꞌisoj.
8 For though I grieved you with my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that my letter made you grieve, though just for a while.
Pune xinyak ibꞌis rukꞌ ri nuwuj ri xintaq chiꞌwe, man kꞌax ta kꞌu kinnaꞌ che. Pune nabꞌe kanoq xinbꞌisonik rumal xinto chi ri wuj ri xintaq chiꞌwe xuyak ibꞌis.
9 I now rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.
Kamik kꞌut kinkiꞌkotik, man rumal ta che ri xixbꞌison rumal ri nuwuj, xane rumal che ri ibꞌis xubꞌan chiꞌwe chi xikꞌex ikꞌuꞌx. Xixbꞌisonik jetaq ri karaj ri Dios rumal riꞌ qetaꞌm chi man xa ta xqabꞌan kꞌax chiꞌwe.
10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.
Ri bꞌis ri kape rukꞌ ri Dios kubꞌan che ri winaq kukꞌex ukꞌuꞌx rech jeriꞌ kakolotajik, we riꞌ jun utz laj bꞌis, are kꞌu ri bꞌis rech uwachulew kukꞌam loq kamikal.
11 For behold, this same thing, that you were grieved in a godly way, what earnest care it worked in you. Yes, what defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vindication! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.
Utz riꞌ ri xubꞌan ri Dios chiꞌwe chi kixbꞌisonik. Sibꞌalaj xixkꞌexenik, jeriꞌ xiwilo chi man kꞌo ta numak xuqujeꞌ xitoꞌ nuwiꞌ. Xixyojtajik xuqujeꞌ xixiꞌj iwibꞌ che ri kakꞌulmatajik. Xurayij iwanimaꞌ xiwil nuwach, xiqꞌat tzij puꞌwiꞌ ri ajmak. Rukꞌ ronojel we riꞌ xikꞌutu chi man ix taj ri ix ajmakibꞌ.
12 So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be revealed in you in the sight of God.
Xaq jeriꞌ, xintzꞌibꞌaj we wuj riꞌ chiꞌwe, man rumal ta rech ri xuriq kꞌax o ri xbꞌan kꞌax che, xane are kawaj chi qas cho ri Dios kichꞌobꞌo chi elinaq ikꞌuꞌx chaqe.
13 Therefore we have been comforted. In our comfort we rejoiced the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
Rumal riꞌ xkubꞌisax qakꞌuꞌx. Xuqujeꞌ xaq uwiꞌnam ri kuꞌlibꞌal kuꞌx ri xya chaqe, xujkiꞌkotik are xqilo ri ukiꞌkotemal ri Tito, rumal cher iwonojel xiya loq uchuqꞌabꞌ ri ranimaꞌ.
14 For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
Nubꞌim chiꞌwe chi nimal kinnaꞌo rumal iwe, man iniyaꞌom ta kꞌut pa nukꞌixibꞌal. Xane ronojel ri xqabꞌij chiꞌwe, qas tzij wi, xuqujeꞌ qas tzij qas xinya wi iqꞌij cho ri Tito.
15 His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.
Ri Tito qas sibꞌalaj ixuloqꞌ, rumal cher kanaꞌtaj che chi iwonojel xinimaj xuqujeꞌ xikꞌamawaꞌj pa ri mochꞌoj ibꞌ xuqujeꞌ nim xiwilo.
16 I rejoice that in everything I am confident concerning you.
