2 Corinthians 3
1 Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you?
வயம்’ கிம் ஆத்மப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸநம்’ புநராரபா⁴மஹே? யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி யுஷ்மத்தோ வா பரேஷாம்’ கேஷாஞ்சித்³ இவாஸ்மாகமபி கிம்’ ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸாபத்ரேஷு ப்ரயோஜநம் ஆஸ்தே?
2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men,
யூயமேவாஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸாபத்ரம்’ தச்சாஸ்மாகம் அந்த: கரணேஷு லிகி²தம்’ ஸர்வ்வமாநவைஸ்²ச ஜ்ஞேயம்’ பட²நீயஞ்ச|
3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
யதோ (அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸேவிதம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய பத்ரம்’ யூயபேவ, தச்ச ந மஸ்யா கிந்த்வமரஸ்யேஸ்²வரஸ்யாத்மநா லிகி²தம்’ பாஷாணபத்ரேஷு தந்நஹி கிந்து க்ரவ்யமயேஷு ஹ்ரு’த்பத்ரேஷு லிகி²தமிதி ஸுஸ்பஷ்டம்’|
4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God,
க்²ரீஷ்டேநேஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரத்யஸ்மாகம் ஈத்³ரு’ஸோ² த்³ரு’ட⁴விஸ்²வாஸோ வித்³யதே;
5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,
வயம்’ நிஜகு³ணேந கிமபி கல்பயிதும்’ ஸமர்தா² இதி நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வராத³ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸாமர்த்²யம்’ ஜாயதே|
6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
தேந வயம்’ நூதநநியமஸ்யார்த²தோ (அ)க்ஷரஸம்’ஸ்தா²நஸ்ய தந்நஹி கிந்த்வாத்மந ஏவ ஸேவநஸாமர்த்²யம்’ ப்ராப்தா: | அக்ஷரஸம்’ஸ்தா²நம்’ ம்ரு’த்யுஜநகம்’ கிந்த்வாத்மா ஜீவநதா³யக: |
7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face, which was passing away,
அக்ஷரை ர்விலிகி²தபாஷாணரூபிணீ யா ம்ரு’த்யோ: ஸேவா ஸா யதீ³த்³ரு’க் தேஜஸ்விநீ ஜாதா யத்தஸ்யாசிரஸ்தா²யிநஸ்தேஜஸ: காரணாத் மூஸஸோ முக²ம் இஸ்ராயேலீயலோகை: ஸம்’த்³ரஷ்டும்’ நாஸ²க்யத,
8 won’t service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
தர்ஹ்யாத்மந: ஸேவா கிம்’ ததோ(அ)பி ப³ஹுதேஜஸ்விநீ ந ப⁴வேத்?
9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
த³ண்ட³ஜநிகா ஸேவா யதி³ தேஜோயுக்தா ப⁴வேத் தர்ஹி புண்யஜநிகா ஸேவா ததோ(அ)தி⁴கம்’ ப³ஹுதேஜோயுக்தா ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
10 For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
உப⁴யோஸ்துலநாயாம்’ க்ரு’தாயாம் ஏகஸ்யாஸ்தேஜோ த்³விதீயாயா: ப்ரக²ரதரேண தேஜஸா ஹீநதேஜோ ப⁴வதி|
11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
யஸ்மாத்³ யத் லோபநீயம்’ தத்³ யதி³ தேஜோயுக்தம்’ ப⁴வேத் தர்ஹி யத் சிரஸ்தா²யி தத்³ ப³ஹுதரதேஜோயுக்தமேவ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
ஈத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம்’ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ லப்³த்⁴வா வயம்’ மஹதீம்’ ப்ரக³ல்ப⁴தாம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யாம: |
13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face so that the children of Israel wouldn’t look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
இஸ்ராயேலீயலோகா யத் தஸ்ய லோபநீயஸ்ய தேஜஸ: ஸே²ஷம்’ ந விலோகயேயுஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ மூஸா யாத்³ரு’க்³ ஆவரணேந ஸ்வமுக²ம் ஆச்சா²த³யத் வயம்’ தாத்³ரு’க் ந குர்ம்ம: |
14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
தேஷாம்’ மநாம்’ஸி கடி²நீபூ⁴தாநி யதஸ்தேஷாம்’ பட²நஸமயே ஸ புராதநோ நியமஸ்தேநாவரணேநாத்³யாபி ப்ரச்ச²ந்நஸ்திஷ்ட²தி|
15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
தச்ச ந தூ³ரீப⁴வதி யத: க்²ரீஷ்டேநைவ தத் லுப்யதே| மூஸஸ: ஸா²ஸ்த்ரஸ்ய பாட²ஸமயே(அ)த்³யாபி தேஷாம்’ மநாம்’ஸி தேநாவரணேந ப்ரச்சா²த்³யந்தே|
16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
கிந்து ப்ரபு⁴ம்’ ப்ரதி மநஸி பராவ்ரு’த்தே தத்³ ஆவரணம்’ தூ³ரீகாரிஷ்யதே|
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
ய: ப்ரபு⁴: ஸ ஏவ ஸ ஆத்மா யத்ர ச ப்ரபோ⁴ராத்மா தத்ரைவ முக்தி: |
18 But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
வயஞ்ச ஸர்வ்வே(அ)நாச்சா²தி³தேநாஸ்யேந ப்ரபோ⁴ஸ்தேஜஸ: ப்ரதிபி³ம்ப³ம்’ க்³ரு’ஹ்லந்த ஆத்மஸ்வரூபேண ப்ரபு⁴நா ரூபாந்தரீக்ரு’தா வர்த்³த⁴மாநதேஜோயுக்தாம்’ தாமேவ ப்ரதிமூர்த்திம்’ ப்ராப்நும: |
