< 1 John 4 >

1 Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Bhakilishitu ajangunji, nnankulupalilanje kila mundu abheleketa kuti ashikola Mbumu jwa a Nnungu, ikabheje munninganje ibhaga jwene mundujo anaalongoywa naka Mbumu jwa a Nnungu, pabha ashinkulondola bha unami bhabhagwinji bhashikoposhelanga pa shilambolyo.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
Mpingangaga kummanya kuti jwene mundujo analongoywa naka Mbumu jwa a Nnungu, shimummanyanje nnei. Kila akunda kuti a Kilishitu bhashinkuika nibha mundu, jwenejo akwete Mbumu jwa a Nnungu.
3 and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
Ikabheje jojowe akakwaakunda a Kilishitu, jwenejo jwangali Mbumu akopoka kwa a Nnungu. Jwenejo ashikola mbumu ataukangana na a Kilishitu, mmanganyanji mwapilikenenje kuti alikwiiya, na nnaino tayali aishe pa shilambolyo.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
Ikabheje Mmanganyanji ni bhana bha a Nnungu, numbe mwaakombwelenje bhene ashinkulondola bha unami, pabha Mbumu ali nkati jenunji, ni nkulungwa kupunda mbumu ali nkati jabhonji bhene bhalinginji bha shilambolyo.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
Bhanganyanjibho ni bha pa shilambolyo, na ibhabheleketanga indu ya pa shilambolyo, na shilambolyo shinakwaapilikanishiyanga, pabha bhene bhanganyanjibho ni bha pa shilambolyo.
6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn’t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Uwe ni tubha a Nnungu. Mundu abhamanyi a Nnungu anakutupilikanila, mundu akakwaamanya a Nnungu akakutupilikanila. Bhai nneyo, ni shitukombola kummanya Mbumu jwa Kweli na mbumu jwa unami.
7 Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Bhakilishitu ajangunji, tupingane, pabha kupingana kukukoposhela kwa a Nnungu. Kila mundu akumpinga nnjakwe, jwenejo ni mwana jwa a Nnungu na anakwaamanya a Nnungu.
8 He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
Mundu akakwaapinganga ashaajakwe jwenejo akakwaamanya a Nnungu, pabha a Nnungu ni kupingana.
9 By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.
A Nnungu bhashinkulanguya kuti bhanakutupinga uwe pubhampeleshe Mwanagwabho jwa jika pa shilambolyo, nkupinga tupate gumi kuka jwenejo.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Kweneku ni kupingana, nngabha kuti uwe tushinkutandubhila kwaapinga a Nnungu, ikabhe Bhenebho bhashinkutupinga kuishila kuntuma Mwanagwabho abhe mbepei ja kutuleshelela yambi yetu.
11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
Bhakilishitu ajangunji, ibhaga a Nnungu bhashinkutupinga nneyo, bhai, numbe uwe tunapinjikwa kupingana.
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
Jwakwa mundu abhabhweni a Nnungu, ikabheje tupinganaga a Nnungu bhanatama nkulundana na uwe na kutupinga kwabho kunashimilika nkati jetu.
13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
Tumumanyi kuti tunatama nkulundana na a Nnungu, na Bhalabho a Nnungu bhanatama nkulundana na uwe, pabha bhenebho bhashikutupa Mbumu jwabho.
14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
Uwe tugabhweni, numbe tunakwakong'ondelanga bhananji kuti, Atati bhashinkwaatuma Bhanabhabho bhabhe bhaatapula bha shilambolyo.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
Kila mundu akwaakunda a Yeshu Kilishitu kuti Mwana jwa a Nnungu, a Nnungu bhanatama nkulundana na jwene mundujo, na jwenejo anatama nkulundana na a Nnungu.
16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
Bhai uwe tumumanyi na tunakulupalila kuti a Nnungu bhanakutupinga. A Nnungu ni pingana, na mundu jojowe atama nkupingana, anatama nkulundana na a Nnungu, na a Nnungu bhanatama nkulunduna na jwenejo.
17 In this, love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so we are in this world.
Kwa nneyo kupingana kutimilile nkati jetu nkupinga tukole makangala lyene lyubha lya ukumu, pabha kutama kwetu pa shilambolyo pano, shikubhe mbuti kutama kwa a Kilishitu.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
Pukutemi kupingana pangali bhoga, elo, kupingana kwa timilika kunashoya bhoga gowe. Bhai, mundu akwete bhoga akanabhe timilika nkupingana, pabha bhoga unakagulana na kupanyangulwa.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
Uwe tunapingana pabha a Nnungu ni bhatandwibhe kutupinga uwe.
20 If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Mundu abheleketaga kuti anakwaapinga a Nnungu, akuno akakumpinga nkilishitu njakwe, jwenejo analambila. Pabha mundu akakumpinga njakwe jwa kummona, akakombola kwaapinga a Nnungu akakwaabhona.
21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
Bhai jejino ni amuli jibhatupele a Kilishitu. Akwaapinga a Nnungu anapinjikwa kumpinga nkilishitu njakwe.
