< 1 John 4 >

1 Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Alowa, leki ku huiili kila nkolo, kuiti igemi inkolo mihenge anga ize ipembenkanilye ni Itunda, ku nsoko anya kidagu idu nia uteele apembeeye mu ingu.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
Ku ili muku mulinga uNg'wau Ng'welu nuang'wa Itunda - kila Nkolo ni ikalapa kina uYesu Kristo uzile mu muili ingi ang'wa Itunda,
3 and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
hangi kila nkolo ni shanga ilapaa kung'wa Yesu shanga ang'wa Itunda. Iyi ingi nkolo a mukingila Kristo, naiiza mumigulye kina ipembilye, ni itungili yakondaa kutula ikoli mi ihi.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
Unyenye ingi miang'wa Itunda, ana alowa, hangi makondyaa kuakilya kunsoko ung'wenso nukoli mukati anyu ingi mukulu kukila ung'wenso nukoli mu unkumbigulu.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
Ni anso ingi a unkumbigulu, ku lulo niakukiligitya ingi ka unkumbigulu, nu unkumbigulu wiategeelya.
6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn’t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Usese ingi kiang'wa Itunda, uNg'wenso numulingile Itunda wikutegeelya usese, uNg'wenso ni shanga wang'wa Itunda shanga wikutegeelya. Mu ili kilingaa i nkolo a tai ni nkolo a uteele.
7 Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Alowa, kilowe sese ku sese, ku iti u ulowa ingi wang'wa Itunda, ni kila ung'wi nuilowaa utugilwe ni Itunda nu kumulinga Itunda.
8 He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
uNg'wenso nishanga wilowaa shanga umulingile Itunda, kunsoko Itunda ingi Ulowa.
9 By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.
Mu ili ulowa nuang'wa Itundaai ukunukuwe mukati itu, kina Itunda ai umulagiite ung'wana nuakwe nuing'wene mu unkumbigulu iti kikie kukiila Ng'wenso.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Mu ulowa uwu, shanga kina ai kumuloilwe Itunda, kuiti ng'wenso ai ukuloilwe, nu kumulagiilya u ng'wana nuakwe watule usukiilya nua milandu itu.
11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
Alowa, anga ize Itunda ai ukuloilwe usese, ku u kutakiwe kilowa sese ku sese.
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
Kutili ga nung'wi nai umihengile Itunda, Anga kilowe sese ku sese, Itunda wikiie mukati itu nu ulowa nuakwe wikondaniiligwa mukati itu.
13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
Mu ili kulingile kina kikiie mukati akwe nu ng'wenso mukati itu, kunsoko ukinkiiye uNg'wau Ng'welu nuakwe.
14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
Hangi kihengaa nu kukuila kina uTata umulagiiye uNg'wana kutula muguni nua unkumbigulu.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
Kila nuilapaa kina uYesu ingi ng'wana wang'wa Itunda, Itunda wikiie mukati akwe nu ng'wenso mukati ang'wa Itunda.
16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
Hangi kulingile nu ku uhuiila u ulowa nu ukete Itunda mukati itu. Itunda ingi ulowa, nu ng'wenso wikiie mukati a ulowa nu kikiie mukati ang'wa Itunda, nu Itunda wikiie mukati akwe.
17 In this, love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so we are in this world.
Mu ulowa uwu wakondaniiligwa mu kati itu, iti kutule nu ugimya luhiku nula ulamulwa, kunsoko anga ung'wenso nuili, nu sese uu kili mu unkumbigulu uwu.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
Kutili u woa mukati a ulowa. Kuiti u ulowa nu ukondile wiuguma uwoa kunzi, ku nsoko u woa wikigendi nu ulamulwa. Kuiti ung'wenso nuitumbaa shanga ukondaniigwe mu ulowa.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
Kilowa kunsoko Itunda ai ukuloilwe hanza.
20 If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Anga ize ung'wi wikaligitya, “Numuloilwe Itunda” kuiti umubipiwe u muluna nuakwe, ingi muteele. Kunsoko ni shanga umuloilwe u muluna nuakwe, nuimihengaa, shanga ujumile kumulowa Itunda ni shanga wimihenga.
21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
Hangi ili lilo ilagiilyo ni kulikete kupuma kitalakwe: Wihi muimulowa Itunda, utakiwe kumulowa ga nu muluna nuakwe.
