< Psalms 147 >

1 Praise the LORD, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.
Mutendereze Mukama! Kubanga kirungi okutenderezanga Katonda waffe; kubanga ajjudde ekisa, n’oluyimba olw’okumutenderezanga lumusaanira.
2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
Mukama azimba Yerusaalemi; era akuŋŋaanya Abayisirayiri abaali mu buwaŋŋanguse.
3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Azzaamu amaanyi abo abalina emitima egimenyese, era ajjanjaba ebiwundu byabwe.
4 He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
Mukama ategeka omuwendo gw’emmunyeenye; era buli emu n’agituuma erinnya.
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
Mukama waffe mukulu era wa kitiibwa; amaanyi g’obuyinza bwe tegatendeka, n’okutegeera kwe tekuliiko kkomo.
6 The LORD upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
Mukama awanirira abawombeefu, naye abakola ebibi abasuulira ddala wansi.
7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,
Muyimbire Mukama ennyimba ez’okumwebaza; mumukubire entongooli ezivuga obulungi.
8 who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.
Mukama abikka eggulu n’ebire, ensi agitonnyeseza enkuba, n’ameza omuddo ne gukula ku nsozi.
9 He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
Ente aziwa emmere, ne bannamuŋŋoona abato abakaaba abaliisa.
10 He doesn’t delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
Essanyu lya Mukama teriri mu maanyi ga mbalaasi, wadde mu magulu g’omuntu,
11 The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.
wabula Mukama asanyukira abo abamussaamu ekitiibwa, era abalina essuubi mu kwagala kwe okutaggwaawo.
12 Praise the LORD, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!
Tendereza Mukama ggwe Yerusaalemi, tendereza Katonda wo ggwe Sayuuni,
13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
kubanga ebisiba enzigi zo, ye abinyweza, n’abantu bo abasulamu n’abawa omukisa.
14 He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
Aleeta emirembe ku nsalo zo; n’akukkusa eŋŋaano esinga obulungi.
15 He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
Aweereza ekiragiro kye ku nsi; ekigambo kye ne kibuna mangu.
16 He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
Ayaliira omuzira ku ttaka ne gutukula ng’ebyoya by’endiga enjeru, n’omusulo ogukutte n’agusaasaanya ng’evvu.
17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
Omuzira agukanyuga ng’obuyinjayinja; bw’aleeta obutiti ani ayinza okubusobola?
18 He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
Mukama aweereza ekigambo kye, omuzira ne gusaanuuka; n’akunsa empewo, amazzi ne gakulukuta.
19 He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
Yategeeza Yakobo ekigambo kye; Isirayiri n’amanya amateeka ga Mukama n’ebiragiro bye.
20 He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise the LORD!
Tewali ggwanga na limu lye yali akolaganye nalyo bw’atyo; amawanga amalala tegamanyi mateeka ge. Mutendereze Mukama!
