< Psalms 127 >

1 A Song of Ascents. By Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, they who build it labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.
Solomon kah Tangtlaeng Laa BOEIPA loh im a sak pawt atah a soah aka sa rhoek khaw a poeyoek lam ni a thakthae uh. BOEIPA loh khopuei a hung pawt atah aka hung khaw a poeyoek lam ni a hak.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones.
A thoh neh hlah uh tih kholaeh daengla aka duem, patangnah buh aka ca nang ham a poeyoek mai ni. Ih pataeng a lungnah taengah ni a paek.
3 Behold, children are a heritage of the LORD. The fruit of the womb is his reward.
C a rhoek he BOEIPA rho neh bungko thaihtae kah thapang ni ne.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.
Camoe ca rhoek khaw hlangrhalh kut dongkah thaltang bangla om tangloeng.
5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won’t be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Te rhoek neh a liva aka bae sak hlang te tah a yoethen. Vongka kah thunkha neh a oelh uh rhoi vaengah yahpok uh mahpawh.
