< Ezekiel 14 >

1 Then some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat before me.
Aa le nivotrahan’ androanavi’ Israele raho, niambesatse aoloko eo.
2 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Le niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
3 “Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face. Should I be enquired of at all by them?
O ana’ ondatio, fa nampionjone’ ondaty retiañe ambone’ o arofo’eo ty haleora’e naho najado’e aolon-dahara’e eo ty vato fitsikapian-kakeo; aa vaho hañontane ahy hao iereo?
4 Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Every man of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face then comes to the prophet, I the LORD will answer him there according to the multitude of his idols,
Aa le isaontsio ty hoe, Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè, Ze ondati’ i anjomba Israele nampitroatse o samposampo’eo an-tro’e ao naho nampijadoñe ty vato-fitsikapian-kakeo’e añ’atrefan-dahara’e eo vaho miheo ami’ty mpitoky mb’eo, le Zaho Iehovà ty hamale i mivotrake eo ty ami’ty hamaro’ o ‘ndrahare’eo,
5 that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.”’
handrambesako añ’arofo’e ao ty anjomba’ Israele, amy t’ie songa alik’ amako ty amo samposampo’eo.
6 “Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Return, and turn yourselves from your idols! Turn away your faces from all your abominations.
Aa le ano ty hoe i anjomba’ Israeley, Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè, Misolohoa naho miambohoa amo samposampo’ areoo, vaho ampiambohò amo hativà’ areoo o lahara’ areoo.
7 “‘“For everyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live in Israel, who separates himself from me and takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet to enquire for himself of me, I the LORD will answer him by myself.
Le ze ondatin’ anjomba’ Israele ndra renetane mañialo e Israele ao fa nivike tsy mañorike ahy naho nampitroatse o ‘ndrahare’eo añ’arofo’e ao, naho nampijadoñe ty vato-fitsikapian-kakeo’e aolon-dahara’e eo, vaho miheo amy mpitokiy hañontane ty amako, le zaho Iehovà ty hamale aze am-batako;
8 I will set my face against that man and will make him an astonishment, for a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from amongst my people. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
le hatreatreko am’ondaty zay ty tareheko naho hatroako ho viloñe naho razan-drehake vaho haitoako am’ ondatikoo, hahafohina’ areo te Zaho Iehovà.
9 “‘“If the prophet is deceived and speaks a word, I, the LORD, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand on him, and will destroy him from amongst my people Israel.
Aa ie nifañahieñe i mpitokiy naho nisaontsie’e i entañey, le Zaho Iehovà ty namañahy i mpitokiy, naho hatorakitsiko ama’e ty tañako vaho ho rotsaheko am’ondatiko Israeleo.
10 They will bear their iniquity. The iniquity of the prophet will be even as the iniquity of him who seeks him,
Ho vavè’ iareo o tahi’iareo; le ho mira amy hakeo’ i bahimo ama’ey ty tahi’ i mpitokiy,
11 that the house of Israel may no more go astray from me, neither defile themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God,” says the Lord GOD.’”
soa tsy handifik’ amako ka ty anjomba’ Israele, naho tsy haniva vatañe amo fiolà’e iabio, f’ie h’ondatiko, vaho ho Andrianañahare’ iareo raho, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
12 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Niheo amako indraike ty tsara’ Iehovà, nanao ty hoe:
13 “Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand on it, and break the staff of its bread and send famine on it, and cut off from it man and animal—
O ana’ ondatio, ie mandilatse amako i taney ami’ty halòm-piola’e, naho atorakitsiko ama’e ty tañako hamolahako ty boda-mofo’e naho ampihitrifako hasalikoañe vaho añitoako ondaty naho hare;
14 though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness,” says the Lord GOD.
aa ndra te anteñateña’e ao ondaty telo retia: i Nòake, i Daniele, naho Iobe, le ty fiai’ iareo avao ty havotsotse ty amy havantaña’ iareoy, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
15 “If I cause evil animals to pass through the land, and they ravage it and it is made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the animals—
Aa naho ampirangako bibi-romotse i taney hijoy ampara’ te mangoakoake vaho tsy irangà’ ondaty ty amy bibiy;
16 though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They only would be delivered, but the land would be desolate.
le ndra te añivo’e ao indaty telo rey, amy te velon-dRaho hoe t’Iehovà Talè, tsy hahahaha o ana-dahi’eo ndra o anak’ampela’eo iereo; fa ty fiai’ i telo rey avao ty ho votsotse, vaho ho rotsaheñe i taney.
17 “Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, ‘Sword, go through the land, so that I cut off from it man and animal’—
Aa naho handesako fibara i taney vaho hanao ty hoe: O fibarao, irangao o taneo, hañitoako ze ondaty naho biby;
18 though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only would be delivered themselves.
le ndra te an-teñateña ao indaty telo rey, amy te Zaho veloñe, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, le tsy hahahaha ndra ana-dahy ndra anak’ampela, fa ty fañova’ iareo avao ty ho haha.
19 “Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal—
Aa naho ampañitrifeko angorosy i taney vaho adoako amy taney ty fiforoforoako an-dio, hañitoako ze ondaty naho biby,
20 though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness.”
ndra te añivo’e ao t’i Noake naho i Daniele vaho Iobe, amy te velon-dRaho, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, le tsy hahavotsotse anadahy ndra anak’ ampela iereo fa ty fiai’iareo avao ty ho hahà’ ty havañona’ iareo.
21 For the Lord GOD says: “How much more when I send my four severe judgements on Jerusalem—the sword, the famine, the evil animals, and the pestilence—to cut off from it man and animal!
Aa le hoe t’Iehovà Talè, Sandrake te ampañitrifeko am’ Ierosalaime o zakako efatse mangirifirio: i fibaray, i hasalikoañey, i biby romotsey, naho i angorosiy, hañitoañe ama’e ze ondaty naho biby.
22 Yet, behold, there will be left a remnant in it that will be carried out, both sons and daughters. Behold, they will come out to you, and you will see their way and their doings. Then you will be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought on it.
Fa inao! hapoke ao ty sehanga’ o ana-dahy naho anak’ ampelao, ze hakareñe ama’e; hehe! t’ie mb’ ama’ areo mb’eo, le ho isa’ areo ty sata naho fitoloña’ iareo vaho hohòñeñe ty amy hankàñe nafetsako am’ Ierosalaimey, naho ze hene raha nandesako ama’e.
23 They will comfort you, when you see their way and their doings; then you will know that I have not done all that I have done in it without cause,” says the Lord GOD.
Aa le hohòñe’ iereo nahareo naho oni’ areo ty sata naho fitoloña’e, le ho fohi’ areo te tsy nanoeko tsy amam-poto’e ze he’e nanoeko ama’e, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
