Matthew 13
1 That same day Jesus had left the house and was sitting on the shore of the Lake,
੧ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਘਰੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾ ਬੈਠਾ।
2 when a vast multitude of people crowded round Him. He therefore went on board a boat and sat there, while all the people stood on the shore.
੨ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਬੇੜੀ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਭੀੜ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜੀ ਰਹੀ।
3 He then spoke many things to them in figurative language. "The sower goes out," He said, "to sow.
੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਵੇਖੋ ਇੱਕ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਬੀਜਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ।
4 As he sows, some of the seed falls by the way-side, and the birds come and peck it up.
੪ਅਤੇ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਵੱਲ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਗ ਲੈ ਗਏ
5 Some falls on rocky ground, where it has but scanty soil. It quickly shows itself above ground, because it has no depth of earth;
੫ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਪਥਰੀਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਛੇਤੀ ਉੱਗ ਪਿਆ।
6 but when the sun is risen, it is scorched by the heat, and through having no root it withers up.
੬ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਨਾ ਫੜਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ।
7 Some falls among the thorns; but the thorns spring up and stifle it.
੭ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਧ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਲਿਆ।
8 But a portion falls upon good ground, and gives a return, some a hundred for one, some sixty, some thirty.
੮ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਲ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਕੁਝ ਸੌ ਗੁਣਾ ਕੁਝ ਸੱਠ ਗੁਣਾ ਕੁਝ ਤੀਹ ਗੁਣਾ।
9 Listen, every one who has ears!"
੯ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਹੋਣ ਉਹ ਸੁਣੇ।
10 (And His disciples came and asked Him, "Why do you speak to them in figurative language?"
੧੦ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਉਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
11 "Because," He replied, "while to you it is granted to know the secrets of the Kingdom of the Heavens, to them it is not.
੧੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਭੇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
12 For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he shall have abundance; but whoever has not, from him even what he has shall be taken away.
੧੨ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ; ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
13 I speak to them in figurative language for this reason, that while looking they do not see, and while hearing they neither hear nor understand.
੧੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ।
14 And in regard to them the prophecy of Isaiah is receiving signal fulfilment: "'You will hear and hear and by no means understand, and you will look and look and by no means see.
੧੪ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ ਪਰ ਸਮਝੋਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ਪਰ ਬੁਝੋਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ,
15 For this people's mind is stupefied, their hearing has become dull, and their eyes they have closed; to prevent their ever seeing with their eyes, or hearing with their ears, or understanding with their minds, and turning back, so that I might heal them.'
੧੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਪਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਟਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚਾ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਆਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਾਂ।
16 "But as for you, blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
੧੬ਪਰ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੰਨ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ।
17 For I solemnly tell you that many Prophets and holy men have longed to see the sights you see, and have not seen them, and to hear the words you hear, and have not heard them.
੧੭ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਣ ਪਰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ।
18 "To you then I will explain the parable of the Sower.
੧੮ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬੀਜਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸੁਣੋ।
19 When a man hears the Message concerning the Kingdom and does not understand it, the Evil one comes and catches away what has been sown in his heart. This is he who has received the seed by the road-side.
੧੯ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਜ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਵੱਲ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
20 He who has received the seed on the rocky ground is the man who hears the Message and immediately receives it with joy.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਥਰੀਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਝੱਟ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
21 It has struck no root, however, within him. He continues for a time, but when suffering comes, or persecution, because of the Message, he at once stumbles and falls.
੨੧ਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ, ਪਰ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਬਚਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੁੱਖ ਜਾਂ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਝੱਟ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
22 He who has received the seed among the thorns is the man who hears the Message, but the cares of the present age and the delusions of riches quite stifle the Message, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ, ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਨ ਦਾ ਧੋਖਾ, ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ। (aiōn g165)
23 But he who has received the seed on good ground is he who hears and understands. Such hearers give a return, and yield one a hundred for one, another sixty, another thirty.")
੨੩ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਫਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੌ ਗੁਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਠ ਗੁਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਤੀਹ ਗੁਣਾ ਫਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
24 Another parable He put before them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "may be compared to a man who has sown good seed in his field,
੨੪ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਿਆ।
25 but during the night his enemy comes, and over the first seed he sows darnel among the wheat, and goes away.
੨੫ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸੌਂ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਦ ਵੈਰੀ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਣਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਬੀਜ ਗਿਆ।
26 But when the blade shoots up and the grain is formed, then appears the darnel also.
੨੬ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਬੂਰ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਤਦ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਪਈ।
27 "So the farmer's men come and ask him, "'Sir, was it not good seed that you sowed on your land? Where then does the darnel come from?'
੨੭ਤਾਂ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਭਲਾ, ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਬੀਜਿਆ? ਫੇਰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਈ?
28 "'Some enemy has done this,' he said. "'Shall we go, and collect it?' the men inquire.
੨੮ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਇਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਟ ਦੇਈਏ?
29 "'No,' he replied, 'for fear that while collecting the darnel you should at the same time root up the wheat with it.
੨੯ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਨਾ, ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਟ ਦਿਆਂ ਕਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪੁੱਟ ਲਓ।
30 Leave both to grow together until the harvest, and at harvest-time I will direct the reapers, Collect the darnel first, and make it up into bundles to burn it, but bring all the wheat into my barn.'"
੩੦ਵਾਢੀ ਤੱਕ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਵਧਣ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਫੂਕਣ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੂਲੀਆਂ ਬੰਨ ਲਵੋ, ਪਰ ਕਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਦਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮਾਂ ਕਰੋ।
31 Another parable He put before them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "is like a mustard-seed, which a man takes and sows in his ground.
੩੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਈ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੀਜ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜਿਆ।
32 It is the smallest of all seeds, and yet when full-grown it is larger than any herb and forms a tree, so that the birds come and build in its branches."
੩੨ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਬੀਜਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪੋਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਸੇਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
33 Another parable He spoke to them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "is like yeast which a woman takes and buries in a bushel of flour, for it to work there till the whole mass has risen."
੩੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਖ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਿੱਲੋ ਆਟੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਆਟਾ ਖ਼ਮੀਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
34 All this Jesus spoke to the people in figurative language, and except in figurative language He spoke nothing to them,
੩੪ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਣਾਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਸੀ।
35 in fulfilment of the saying of the Prophet, "I will open my mouth in figurative language, I will utter things kept hidden since the creation of all things."
੩੫ਤਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਚਨ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢੋਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
36 When He had dismissed the people and had returned to the house, His disciples came to Him with the request, "Explain to us the parable of the darnel sown in the field."
੩੬ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਭੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਕੇ, ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਦਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾ ਦਿਓ।
37 "The sower of the good seed," He replied, "is the Son of Man;
੩੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ।
38 the field is the world; the good seed--these are the sons of the Kingdom; the darnel, the sons of the Evil one.
੩੮ਖੇਤ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਹੈ, ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ।
39 The enemy who sows the darnel is the Devil; the harvest is the Close of the Age; the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
੩੯ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਸ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਜਿਆ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਹੈ। ਵਾਢੀ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੂਤ ਹਨ। (aiōn g165)
40 As then the darnel is collected together and burnt up with fire, so will it be at the Close of the Age. (aiōn g165)
੪੦ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੂਕੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। (aiōn g165)
41 The Son of Man will commission His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all causes of sin and all who violate His laws;
੪੧ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਠੋਕਰ ਖੁਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
42 and these they will throw into the fiery furnace. There will be the weeping aloud and the gnashing of teeth.
੪੨ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਭੱਠੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉੱਥੇ ਰੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਚੀਚੀਆਂ ਵੱਟਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
43 Then will the righteous shine out like the sun in their Father's Kingdom. Listen, every one who has ears!
੪੩ਤਦ ਧਰਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਚਮਕਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਹੋਣ ਸੋ ਸੁਣੇ।
44 "The Kingdom of the Heavens is like treasure buried in the open country, which a man finds, but buries again, and, in his joy about it, goes and sells all he has and buys that piece of ground.
੪੪ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਲੱਭ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਲੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਲਿਆ।
45 "Again the Kingdom of the Heavens is like a jewel merchant who is in quest of choice pearls.
੪੫ਫੇਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ।
46 He finds one most costly pearl; he goes away; and though it costs all he has, he buys it.
੪੬ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਤੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਿਆ।
47 "Again the Kingdom of the Heavens is like a draw-net let down into the sea, which encloses fish of all sorts.
੪੭ਫੇਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਲ਼ ਵਰਗਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆਇਆ।
48 When full, they haul it up on the beach, and sit down and collect the good fish in baskets, while the worthless they throw away.
੪੮ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਕਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
49 So will it be at the Close of the Age. The angels will go forth and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
੪੯ਸੋ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਦੂਤ ਆ ਕੇ, ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਡ ਕਰਨਗੇ। (aiōn g165)

੫੦ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਭੱਠੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉੱਥੇ ਰੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਚੀਚੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਟਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
51 "Have you understood all this?" He asked. "Yes," they said.
੫੧ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਮਝ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹਾਂ ਜੀ।
52 "Therefore," He said, "remember that every Scribe well trained for the Kingdom of the Heavens is like a householder who brings out of his storehouse new things and old."
੫੨ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਰੇਕ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਜੋ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਚੇਲਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੈ।
53 Jesus concluded this series of parables and then departed.
੫੩ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ।
54 And He came into His own country and proceeded to teach in their synagogue, so that they were filled with astonishment and exclaimed, "Where did he obtain such wisdom, and these wondrous powers?
੫੪ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ?
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers, James, Joseph, Simon and Judah?
੫੫ਕੀ, ਇਹ ਤਰਖਾਣ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹਾਉਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਯਾਕੂਬ, ਯੂਸੁਫ਼, ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ?
56 And his sisters--are they not all living here among us? Where then did he get all this?"
੫੬ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ? ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ?
57 So they turned angrily away from Him. But Jesus said to them, "There is no prophet left without honour except in his own country and among his own family."
੫੭ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਧੀ। ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਬੀ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਆਦਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
58 And He performed but few mighty deeds there because of their want of faith.
੫੮ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ।
