Romans 8
1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Por esta causa, los que están en Cristo Jesús no serán juzgados como pecadores, los que no andan conforme a la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Porque la ley del Espíritu de vida en Cristo Jesús, me liberó de la ley del pecado y la muerte.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Porque lo que la ley no podía hacer porque era débil por la carne? Dios, enviando a su Hijo en semejanza al hombre pecador, y como una ofrenda por el pecado, para que de esta manera condenar al pecado en la propia naturaleza humana.
4 That the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Lo hizo para que nosotros podamos cumplir lo que fue ordenado por la ley porque ya no andamos según la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu.
5 For they that are according to the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh: but they that are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Porque los que viven conforme la carne piensan en las cosas de la carne, pero los que siguen el camino del Espíritu se preocupan por las cosas del Espíritu.
6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace:
Porque él ocuparse de la carne es muerte, pero preocuparse del Espíritu es vida y paz:
7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Porque la mente carnal es opuesta a Dios; no está bajo la ley de Dios, y no quieren ni pueden someterse a Dios.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
aquellos que están sometidos a los deseos de la carne no pueden agradar a Dios.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. Now if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
Pero Ustedes ya no viven conforme a tales deseos, sino en el Espíritu, si, el Espíritu de Dios está en ustedes. Pero si alguno no tiene el Espíritu de Cristo, no es de Cristo.
10 And if Christ [is] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.
Y si Cristo vive en ustedes, el espíritu vive en ustedes, porque Dios los ha librado de culpa, aún cuando él cuerpo esté destinado a la muerte por causa del pecado el cuerpo está muerto a causa del pecado.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised Christ from the dead will also revive your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Y si el Espíritu de aquel que resucitó Jesús vive en ustedes, el que resucitó a Cristo Jesús, de la misma manera, por medio de su Espíritu que vive en ustedes, vivificará sus cuerpos mortales.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
Así que, hermanos míos, estamos en deuda, no con la carne para vivir conforme a la carne.
13 For if ye live according to the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Porque si viven conforme la carne, la muerte vendrá sobre ustedes; pero si por el Espíritu matas las obras del cuerpo, tendrás vida.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Y todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios son hijos de Dios.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
Porque no recibieron el espíritu de esclavitud otra vez para tener miedo, sino el espíritu de adopción, por lo cual decimos: Abba, Padre.
16 The Spirit itself testifieth with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
El Espíritu es testigo con nuestro espíritu de que somos hijos de Dios:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if we suffer with [him], that we may be glorified together.
Y si somos hijos, tenemos derecho a formar parte de la herencia; que Dios nos ha prometido, una parte en las cosas de Dios, coherederos con Cristo; de modo que si tenemos parte en su dolor, de la misma manera participaremos en su gloria.
18 For I reckon, that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Soy de la opinión de que no hay comparación entre el dolor de este tiempo presente y la gloria que veremos en el futuro.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Porque la creación está esperando con ansias la revelación de los hijos de Dios.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the same] in hope:
Porque todo ser viviente fue puesto bajo el poder de la vanidad, no por su deseo, sino por el que lo hizo así, con la esperanza,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
de que todos los seres vivos sean liberados del poder de la corrupción, a la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth, and travaileth in pain together until now:
Porque somos conscientes de que toda la creación llora y lamenta juntos hasta ahora.
23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.
Y no solo ella, sino nosotros mismos que tenemos los primeros frutos del Espíritu, incluso tenemos tristeza gemimos dentro de nosotros mismos, esperando la adopción, es decir, la redención de nuestros cuerpos.
24 For we are saved by hope: But hope that is seen, is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Porque nuestra salvación es por esperanza; pero la esperanza que se ve no es esperanza; porque ¿quién espera lo que ve?
25 But if we hope for what we see not, [then] with patience we wait for [it].
Pero si tenemos esperanza de lo que no vemos, entonces podremos seguir con paciencia esperándolo.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Y de la misma manera el Espíritu es una ayuda para nuestros débiles corazones: porque que no sabemos orar como es debido, pero él Espíritu mismo ruega a Dios por nosotros con gemidos indecibles.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints, according to [the will of] God.
Y Dios que examina los corazones sabe lo que él Espíritu quiere decir, porque él Espíritu ruega conforme a La voluntad de Dios, por los que le pertenecen.
28 And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
Sabemos de que todas las cosas están funcionando juntas para bien a aquellos que tienen amor por Dios, y han sido llamados, conforme a su propósito.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren.
Porque aquellos de quienes tuvo conocimiento antes de que existieran, fueron marcados por él para ser hechos como su Hijo, para que él sea el primero entre muchos hermanos:
30 Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Y aquellos que fueron marcados por él fueron nombrados; y a los que fueron nombrados fueron justificados; y a aquellos que fueron justificados, y de la misma manera los glorificó él.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us?
¿Qué podemos decir sobre estas cosas? Si Dios es por nosotros, ¿quién está contra nosotros?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
El que no retuvo a su único Hijo, sino que lo entregó por todos nosotros, ¿no nos dará también junto con su hijo todas las cosas?
33 Who will lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth:
¿Quién dirá algo contra los santos de Dios? Es Dios quien nos justifica;
34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, or rather that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
¿Quién es él que condenará? Es Cristo Jesús quien murió; más aún que resucitó también, quien ahora está a la diestra de Dios, intercediendo por nosotros.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
¿Quién se interpondrá entre nosotros y el amor de Cristo? ¿Tribulaciones, o angustia, o persecución, o hambres o la falta de ropa, o peligro, o la espada?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Como está dicho en las Sagradas Escrituras, por causa de ti somos muertos a diario; somos como ovejas listas para el matadero.
37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.
Pero en todo esto somos más que vencedores por medio de aquel que nos amó.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Porque estoy seguro de que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni los ángeles, ni los principados, ni potestades, ni las cosas presentes, ni lo por venir,
39 Nor hight, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ni las cosas en lo alto, ni las cosas debajo de la tierra, ni ninguna cosa creada, serán capaz de separarnos del amor de Dios que es en Cristo Jesús, nuestro Señor.
