< Matthew 27 >

1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death.
ପ୍ରଭାତେ ଜାତେ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକଲୋକପ୍ରାଚୀନା ଯୀଶୁଂ ହନ୍ତୁଂ ତତ୍ପ୍ରତିକୂଲଂ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଯିତ୍ୱା
2 And when they had bound him, they led [him] away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
ତଂ ବଦ୍ୱ୍ୱା ନୀତ୍ୱା ପନ୍ତୀଯପୀଲାତାଖ୍ୟାଧିପେ ସମର୍ପଯାମାସୁଃ|
3 Then Judas, who had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୋଃ ପରକରେୱ୍ୱର୍ପଯିତା ଯିହୂଦାସ୍ତତ୍ପ୍ରାଣାଦଣ୍ଡାଜ୍ଞାଂ ୱିଦିତ୍ୱା ସନ୍ତପ୍ତମନାଃ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକଲୋକପ୍ରାଚୀନାନାଂ ସମକ୍ଷଂ ତାସ୍ତ୍ରୀଂଶନ୍ମୁଦ୍ରାଃ ପ୍ରତିଦାଯାୱାଦୀତ୍,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood. And they said, What [is that] to us? see thou [to that].
ଏତନ୍ନିରାଗୋନରପ୍ରାଣପରକରାର୍ପଣାତ୍ କଲୁଷଂ କୃତୱାନହଂ| ତଦା ତ ଉଦିତୱନ୍ତଃ, ତେନାସ୍ମାକଂ କିଂ? ତ୍ୱଯା ତଦ୍ ବୁଧ୍ୟତାମ୍|
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
ତତୋ ଯିହୂଦା ମନ୍ଦିରମଧ୍ୟେ ତା ମୁଦ୍ରା ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥିତୱାନ୍ ଇତ୍ୱା ଚ ସ୍ୱଯମାତ୍ମାନମୁଦ୍ବବନ୍ଧ|
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକାସ୍ତା ମୁଦ୍ରା ଆଦାଯ କଥିତୱନ୍ତଃ, ଏତା ମୁଦ୍ରାଃ ଶୋଣିତମୂଲ୍ୟଂ ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଭାଣ୍ଡାଗାରେ ନ ନିଧାତୱ୍ୟାଃ|
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ତେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଯିତ୍ୱା ୱିଦେଶିନାଂ ଶ୍ମଶାନସ୍ଥାନାଯ ତାଭିଃ କୁଲାଲସ୍ୟ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରମକ୍ରୀଣନ୍|
8 Wherefore that field has been called, The field of blood, to this day.
ଅତୋଽଦ୍ୟାପି ତତ୍ସ୍ଥାନଂ ରକ୍ତକ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ ୱଦନ୍ତି|
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ସତି ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲୀଯସନ୍ତାନୈ ର୍ୟସ୍ୟ ମୂଲ୍ୟଂ ନିରୁପିତଂ, ତସ୍ୟ ତ୍ରିଂଶନ୍ମୁଦ୍ରାମାନଂ ମୂଲ୍ୟଂ
10 And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.
ମାଂ ପ୍ରତି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟାଦେଶାତ୍ ତେଭ୍ୟ ଆଦୀଯତ, ତେନ ଚ କୁଲାଲସ୍ୟ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ କ୍ରୀତମିତି ଯଦ୍ୱଚନଂ ଯିରିମିଯଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦିନା ପ୍ରୋକ୍ତଂ ତତ୍ ତଦାସିଧ୍ୟତ୍|
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said to him, Thou sayest.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଯୀଶୌ ତଦଧିପତେଃ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ଉପତିଷ୍ଠତି ସ ତଂ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛ, ତ୍ୱଂ କିଂ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ରାଜା? ତଦା ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତମୱଦତ୍, ତ୍ୱଂ ସତ୍ୟମୁକ୍ତୱାନ୍|
12 And when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକପ୍ରାଚୀନୈରଭିଯୁକ୍ତେନ ତେନ କିମପି ନ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱାଦି|
13 Then saith Pilate to him, Hearest thou not how many things they testify against thee?
ତତଃ ପୀଲାତେନ ସ ଉଦିତଃ, ଇମେ ତ୍ୱତ୍ପ୍ରତିକୂଲତଃ କତି କତି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ଦଦତି, ତତ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ନ ଶୃଣୋଷି?
14 And he answered him to not a word; so that the governor marveled greatly.
ତଥାପି ସ ତେଷାମେକସ୍ୟାପି ୱଚସ ଉତ୍ତରଂ ନୋଦିତୱାନ୍; ତେନ ସୋଽଧିପତି ର୍ମହାଚିତ୍ରଂ ୱିଦାମାସ|
15 Now at [that] feast, the governor was wont to release to the people a prisoner, whom they would.
ଅନ୍ୟଚ୍ଚ ତନ୍ମହକାଲେଽଧିପତେରେତାଦୃଶୀ ରାତିରାସୀତ୍, ପ୍ରଜା ଯଂ କଞ୍ଚନ ବନ୍ଧିନଂ ଯାଚନ୍ତେ, ତମେୱ ସ ମୋଚଯତୀତି|
16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
ତଦାନୀଂ ବରବ୍ବାନାମା କଶ୍ଚିତ୍ ଖ୍ୟାତବନ୍ଧ୍ୟାସୀତ୍|
17 Therefore when they were assembled, Pilate said to them, Whom will ye that I release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Christ?
ତତଃ ପୀଲାତସ୍ତତ୍ର ମିଲିତାନ୍ ଲୋକାନ୍ ଅପୃଚ୍ଛତ୍, ଏଷ ବରବ୍ବା ବନ୍ଧୀ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟୱିଖ୍ୟାତୋ ଯୀଶୁଶ୍ଚୈତଯୋଃ କଂ ମୋଚଯିଷ୍ୟାମି? ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କିମୀପ୍ସିତଂ?
18 (For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.)
ତୈରୀର୍ଷ୍ୟଯା ସ ସମର୍ପିତ ଇତି ସ ଜ୍ଞାତୱାନ୍|
19 When he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream, because of him.
ଅପରଂ ୱିଚାରାସନୋପୱେଶନକାଲେ ପୀଲାତସ୍ୟ ପତ୍ନୀ ଭୃତ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରହିତ୍ୟ ତସ୍ମୈ କଥଯାମାସ, ତଂ ଧାର୍ମ୍ମିକମନୁଜଂ ପ୍ରତି ତ୍ୱଯା କିମପି ନ କର୍ତ୍ତୱ୍ୟଂ; ଯସ୍ମାତ୍ ତତ୍କୃତେଽଦ୍ୟାହଂ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନେ ପ୍ରଭୂତକଷ୍ଟମଲଭେ|
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକପ୍ରାଚୀନା ବରବ୍ବାଂ ଯାଚିତ୍ୱାଦାତୁଂ ଯୀଶୁଞ୍ଚ ହନ୍ତୁଂ ସକଲଲୋକାନ୍ ପ୍ରାୱର୍ତ୍ତଯନ୍|
21 The governor answered and said to them, Which of the two will ye that I release to you? They said, Barabbas.
ତତୋଽଧିପତିସ୍ତାନ୍ ପୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍, ଏତଯୋଃ କମହଂ ମୋଚଯିଷ୍ୟାମି? ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କେଚ୍ଛା? ତେ ପ୍ରୋଚୁ ର୍ବରବ୍ବାଂ|
22 Pilate saith to them, What shall I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? [They] all say to him, Let him be crucified.
ତଦା ପୀଲାତଃ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛ, ତର୍ହି ଯଂ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଂ ୱଦନ୍ତି, ତଂ ଯୀଶୁଂ କିଂ କରିଷ୍ୟାମି? ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ କଥଯାମାସୁଃ, ସ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ୱିଧ୍ୟତାଂ|
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
ତତୋଽଧିପତିରୱାଦୀତ୍, କୁତଃ? କିଂ ତେନାପରାଦ୍ଧଂ? କିନ୍ତୁ ତେ ପୁନରୁଚୈ ର୍ଜଗଦୁଃ, ସ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ୱିଧ୍ୟତାଂ|
24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed [his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye [to it].
ତଦା ନିଜୱାକ୍ୟମଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟମଭୂତ୍, କଲହଶ୍ଚାପ୍ୟଭୂତ୍, ପୀଲାତ ଇତି ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ଲୋକାନାଂ ସମକ୍ଷଂ ତୋଯମାଦାଯ କରୌ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଲ୍ୟାୱୋଚତ୍, ଏତସ୍ୟ ଧାର୍ମ୍ମିକମନୁଷ୍ୟସ୍ୟ ଶୋଣିତପାତେ ନିର୍ଦୋଷୋଽହଂ, ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିରେୱ ତଦ୍ ବୁଧ୍ୟତାଂ|
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children.
ତଦା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଃ ପ୍ରଜାଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱୋଚନ୍, ତସ୍ୟ ଶୋଣିତପାତାପରାଧୋଽସ୍ମାକମ୍ ଅସ୍ମତ୍ସନ୍ତାନାନାଞ୍ଚୋପରି ଭୱତୁ|
26 Then he released Barabbas to them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered [him] to be crucified.
ତତଃ ସ ତେଷାଂ ସମୀପେ ବରବ୍ବାଂ ମୋଚଯାମାସ ଯୀଶୁନ୍ତୁ କଷାଭିରାହତ୍ୟ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ୱେଧିତୁଂ ସମର୍ପଯାମାସ|
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered to him the whole band [of soldiers].
ଅନନ୍ତରମ୍ ଅଧିପତେଃ ସେନା ଅଧିପତେ ର୍ଗୃହଂ ଯୀଶୁମାନୀଯ ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପେ ସେନାସମୂହଂ ସଂଜଗୃହୁଃ|
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
ତତସ୍ତେ ତସ୍ୟ ୱସନଂ ମୋଚଯିତ୍ୱା କୃଷ୍ଣଲୋହିତୱର୍ଣୱସନଂ ପରିଧାପଯାମାସୁଃ
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put [it] upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews?
କଣ୍ଟକାନାଂ ମୁକୁଟଂ ନିର୍ମ୍ମାଯ ତଚ୍ଛିରସି ଦଦୁଃ, ତସ୍ୟ ଦକ୍ଷିଣକରେ ୱେତ୍ରମେକଂ ଦତ୍ତ୍ୱା ତସ୍ୟ ସମ୍ମୁଖେ ଜାନୂନି ପାତଯିତ୍ୱା, ହେ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ରାଜନ୍, ତୁଭ୍ୟଂ ନମ ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ତଂ ତିରଶ୍ଚକ୍ରୁଃ,
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and struck him on the head.
ତତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଗାତ୍ରେ ନିଷ୍ଠୀୱଂ ଦତ୍ୱା ତେନ ୱେତ୍ରେଣ ଶିର ଆଜଘ୍ନୁଃ|
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify [him].
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ତଂ ତିରସ୍କୃତ୍ୟ ତଦ୍ ୱସନଂ ମୋଚଯିତ୍ୱା ପୁନର୍ନିଜୱସନଂ ପରିଧାପଯାଞ୍ଚକ୍ରୁଃ, ତଂ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ୱେଧିତୁଂ ନୀତୱନ୍ତଃ|
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they constrained to bear his cross.
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ତେ ବହିର୍ଭୂଯ କୁରୀଣୀଯଂ ଶିମୋନ୍ନାମକମେକଂ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ କ୍ରୁଶଂ ୱୋଢୁଂ ତମାଦଦିରେ|
33 And when they had come to a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଗୁଲ୍ଗଲ୍ତାମ୍ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଶିରସ୍କପାଲନାମକସ୍ଥାନମୁ ପସ୍ଥାଯ ତେ ଯୀଶୱେ ପିତ୍ତମିଶ୍ରିତାମ୍ଲରସଂ ପାତୁଂ ଦଦୁଃ,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink, mingled with gall: and when he had tasted [of it], he would not drink.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସ ତମାସ୍ୱାଦ୍ୟ ନ ପପୌ|
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture they cast lots.
ତଦାନୀଂ ତେ ତଂ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ସଂୱିଧ୍ୟ ତସ୍ୟ ୱସନାନି ଗୁଟିକାପାତେନ ୱିଭଜ୍ୟ ଜଗୃହୁଃ, ତସ୍ମାତ୍, ୱିଭଜନ୍ତେଽଧରୀଯଂ ମେ ତେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟାଃ ପରସ୍ପରଂ| ମଦୁତ୍ତରୀଯୱସ୍ତ୍ରାର୍ଥଂ ଗୁଟିକାଂ ପାତଯନ୍ତି ଚ|| ଯଦେତଦ୍ୱଚନଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦିଭିରୁକ୍ତମାସୀତ୍, ତଦା ତଦ୍ ଅସିଧ୍ୟତ୍,
36 And sitting down, they watched him there:
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ତେ ତତ୍ରୋପୱିଶ୍ୟ ତଦ୍ରକ୍ଷଣକର୍ୱ୍ୱଣି ନିଯୁକ୍ତାସ୍ତସ୍ଥୁଃ|
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
ଅପରମ୍ ଏଷ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ରାଜା ଯୀଶୁରିତ୍ୟପୱାଦଲିପିପତ୍ରଂ ତଚ୍ଛିରସ ଊର୍ଦ୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଯୋଜଯାମାସୁଃ|
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him: one on the right hand, and another on the left.
ତତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ୱାମେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣେ ଚ ଦ୍ୱୌ ଚୈରୌ ତେନ ସାକଂ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ୱିୱିଧୁଃ|
39 And they that passed by, reviled him, wagging their heads,
ତଦା ପାନ୍ଥା ନିଜଶିରୋ ଲାଡଯିତ୍ୱା ତଂ ନିନ୍ଦନ୍ତୋ ଜଗଦୁଃ,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.
ହେ ଈଶ୍ୱରମନ୍ଦିରଭଞ୍ଜକ ଦିନତ୍ରଯେ ତନ୍ନିର୍ମ୍ମାତଃ ସ୍ୱଂ ରକ୍ଷ, ଚେତ୍ତ୍ୱମୀଶ୍ୱରସୁତସ୍ତର୍ହି କ୍ରୁଶାଦୱରୋହ|
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said,
ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକାଧ୍ୟାପକପ୍ରାଚୀନାଶ୍ଚ ତଥା ତିରସ୍କୃତ୍ୟ ଜଗଦୁଃ,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he is King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
ସୋଽନ୍ୟଜନାନାୱତ୍, କିନ୍ତୁ ସ୍ୱମୱିତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ନୋତି| ଯଦୀସ୍ରାଯେଲୋ ରାଜା ଭୱେତ୍, ତର୍ହୀଦାନୀମେୱ କ୍ରୁଶାଦୱରୋହତୁ, ତେନ ତଂ ୱଯଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେଷ୍ୟାମଃ|
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
ସ ଈଶ୍ୱରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶାମକରୋତ୍, ଯଦୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟସ୍ତର୍ହୀଦାନୀମେୱ ତମୱେତ୍, ଯତଃ ସ ଉକ୍ତୱାନ୍ ଅହମୀଶ୍ୱରସୁତଃ|
44 The thieves also who were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
ଯୌ ସ୍ତେନୌ ସାକଂ ତେନ କ୍ରୁଶେନ ୱିଦ୍ଧୌ ତୌ ତଦ୍ୱଦେୱ ତଂ ନିନିନ୍ଦତୁଃ|
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land to the ninth hour.
ତଦା ଦ୍ୱିତୀଯଯାମାତ୍ ତୃତୀଯଯାମଂ ଯାୱତ୍ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଦେଶେ ତମିରଂ ବଭୂୱ,
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
ତୃତୀଯଯାମେ "ଏଲୀ ଏଲୀ ଲାମା ଶିୱକ୍ତନୀ", ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ମଦୀଶ୍ୱର ମଦୀଶ୍ୱର କୁତୋ ମାମତ୍ୟାକ୍ଷୀଃ? ଯୀଶୁରୁଚ୍ଚୈରିତି ଜଗାଦ|
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard [that], said, This [man] calleth for Elijah.
ତଦା ତତ୍ର ସ୍ଥିତାଃ କେଚିତ୍ ତତ୍ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ବଭାଷିରେ, ଅଯମ୍ ଏଲିଯମାହୂଯତି|
48 And immediately one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink.
ତେଷାଂ ମଧ୍ୟାଦ୍ ଏକଃ ଶୀଘ୍ରଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ସ୍ପଞ୍ଜଂ ଗୃହୀତ୍ୱା ତତ୍ରାମ୍ଲରସଂ ଦତ୍ତ୍ୱା ନଲେନ ପାତୁଂ ତସ୍ମୈ ଦଦୌ|
49 The rest said, Forbear, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.
ଇତରେଽକଥଯନ୍ ତିଷ୍ଠତ, ତଂ ରକ୍ଷିତୁମ୍ ଏଲିଯ ଆଯାତି ନୱେତି ପଶ୍ୟାମଃ|
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, expired.
ଯୀଶୁଃ ପୁନରୁଚୈରାହୂଯ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ ଜହୌ|
51 And behold, the vail of the temple was rent in two, from the top to the bottom: and the earth shook, and the rocks rent;
ତତୋ ମନ୍ଦିରସ୍ୟ ୱିଚ୍ଛେଦୱସନମ୍ ଊର୍ଦ୍ୱ୍ୱାଦଧୋ ଯାୱତ୍ ଛିଦ୍ୟମାନଂ ଦ୍ୱିଧାଭୱତ୍,
52 And the graves were opened, and many bodies of saints who slept, arose,
ଭୂମିଶ୍ଚକମ୍ପେ ଭୂଧରୋୱ୍ୟଦୀର୍ୟ୍ୟତ ଚ| ଶ୍ମଶାନେ ମୁକ୍ତେ ଭୂରିପୁଣ୍ୟୱତାଂ ସୁପ୍ତଦେହା ଉଦତିଷ୍ଠନ୍,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many.
ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦ୍ ୱହିର୍ଭୂଯ ତଦୁତ୍ଥାନାତ୍ ପରଂ ପୁଣ୍ୟପୁରଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ବହୁଜନାନ୍ ଦର୍ଶଯାମାସୁଃ|
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
ଯୀଶୁରକ୍ଷଣାଯ ନିଯୁକ୍ତଃ ଶତସେନାପତିସ୍ତତ୍ସଙ୍ଗିନଶ୍ଚ ତାଦୃଶୀଂ ଭୂକମ୍ପାଦିଘଟନାଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ଭୀତା ଅୱଦନ୍, ଏଷ ଈଶ୍ୱରପୁତ୍ରୋ ଭୱତି|
55 And many women were there (beholding at a distance) who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to him:
ଯା ବହୁଯୋଷିତୋ ଯୀଶୁଂ ସେୱମାନା ଗାଲୀଲସ୍ତତ୍ପଶ୍ଚାଦାଗତାସ୍ତାସାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ
56 Among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.
ମଗ୍ଦଲୀନୀ ମରିଯମ୍ ଯାକୂବ୍ୟୋଶ୍ୟୋ ର୍ମାତା ଯା ମରିଯମ୍ ସିବଦିଯପୁତ୍ରଯୋ ର୍ମାତା ଚ ଯୋଷିତ ଏତା ଦୂରେ ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତ୍ୟୋ ଦଦୃଶୁଃ|
57 When the evening was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Jesus.
ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାଯାଂ ସତ୍ୟମ୍ ଅରିମଥିଯାନଗରସ୍ୟ ଯୂଷଫ୍ନାମା ଧନୀ ମନୁଜୋ ଯୀଶୋଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟତ୍ୱାତ୍
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
ପୀଲାତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଯୀଶୋଃ କାଯଂ ଯଯାଚେ, ତେନ ପୀଲାତଃ କାଯଂ ଦାତୁମ୍ ଆଦିଦେଶ|
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
ଯୂଷଫ୍ ତତ୍କାଯଂ ନୀତ୍ୱା ଶୁଚିୱସ୍ତ୍ରେଣାଚ୍ଛାଦ୍ୟ
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed.
ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥଂ ଶୈଲେ ଯତ୍ ଶ୍ମଶାନଂ ଚଖାନ, ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟେ ତତ୍କାଯଂ ନିଧାଯ ତସ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରି ୱୃହତ୍ପାଷାଣଂ ଦଦୌ|
61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulcher.
କିନ୍ତୁ ମଗ୍ଦଲୀନୀ ମରିଯମ୍ ଅନ୍ୟମରିଯମ୍ ଏତେ ସ୍ତ୍ରିଯୌ ତତ୍ର ଶ୍ମଶାନସମ୍ମୁଖ ଉପୱିୱିଶତୁଃ|
62 Now the next day that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together to Pilate,
ତଦନନ୍ତରଂ ନିସ୍ତାରୋତ୍ସୱସ୍ୟାଯୋଜନଦିନାତ୍ ପରେଽହନି ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକାଃ ଫିରୂଶିନଶ୍ଚ ମିଲିତ୍ୱା ପୀଲାତମୁପାଗତ୍ୟାକଥଯନ୍,
63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
ହେ ମହେଚ୍ଛ ସ ପ୍ରତାରକୋ ଜୀୱନ ଅକଥଯତ୍, ଦିନତ୍ରଯାତ୍ ପରଂ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦୁତ୍ଥାସ୍ୟାମି ତଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ସ୍ମରାମୋ ୱଯଂ;
64 Command therefore that the sepulcher be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say to the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error will be worse than the first.
ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ତୃତୀଯଦିନଂ ଯାୱତ୍ ତତ୍ ଶ୍ମଶାନଂ ରକ୍ଷିତୁମାଦିଶତୁ, ନୋଚେତ୍ ତଚ୍ଛିଷ୍ୟା ଯାମିନ୍ୟାମାଗତ୍ୟ ତଂ ହୃତ୍ୱା ଲୋକାନ୍ ୱଦିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି, ସ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦୁଦତିଷ୍ଠତ୍, ତଥା ସତି ପ୍ରଥମଭ୍ରାନ୍ତେଃ ଶେଷୀଯଭ୍ରାନ୍ତି ର୍ମହତୀ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
65 Pilate said to them, Ye have a watch: go, make [it] as secure as ye can.
ତଦା ପୀଲାତ ଅୱାଦୀତ୍, ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ସମୀପେ ରକ୍ଷିଗଣ ଆସ୍ତେ, ଯୂଯଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଯଥା ସାଧ୍ୟଂ ରକ୍ଷଯତ|
66 So they went, and having sealed the stone, made the sepulcher secure with a watch.
ତତସ୍ତେ ଗତ୍ୱା ତଦ୍ଦୂରପାଷାଣଂ ମୁଦ୍ରାଙ୍କିତଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ରକ୍ଷିଗଣଂ ନିଯୋଜ୍ୟ ଶ୍ମଶାନଂ ରକ୍ଷଯାମାସୁଃ|
