Luke 21
1 And he looked up, and saw rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
Er blickte aber auf und sah die Reichen ihre Gaben in den Schatzkasten legen.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow, casting in thither two mites.
Er sah aber eine bedürftige Witwe zwei Pfennige dort einlegen,
3 And he said, Of a truth I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.
und sprach: ich sage euch in Wahrheit, diese arme Witwe hat mehr als alle eingelegt.
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in to the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Denn alle diese haben aus ihrem Ueberfluß zur Gabe eingelegt, sie aber hat aus ihrem Mangel das ganze Vermögen, das sie besaß, eingelegt.
5 And as some spoke of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and gifts, he said,
Und da etliche vom Tempel sprachen, wie er mit schönen Steinen und Weihgeschenken geschmückt sei, sagte er:
6 [As for] these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.
von dem, was ihr da schaut - es kommen Tage, in welchen da auch nicht ein Stein auf dem anderen gelassen werden soll, daß er nicht abgebrochen würde.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when will these things be? and what sign [will there be] when these things shall come to pass?
Sie befragten ihn aber: Meister, wann wird denn das sein? Und was ist das Zeichen, wann das kommen wird?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many will come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and the time draweth near: therefore go ye not after them.
Er aber sagte: sehet zu, daß ihr nicht irre geführt werdet; denn es werden viele kommen auf meinen Namen und sagen: ich bin es, und: die Zeit ist da; laufet ihnen nicht nach.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars, and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass: but the end [is] not immediately.
Wenn ihr aber höret von Kriegen und Aufständen, so lasset euch nicht erschrecken; denn es muß dieses zuerst kommen, aber nicht sogleich kommt das Ende.
10 Then said he to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
Hierauf sagte er zu ihnen: Es wird sich erheben Volk wider Volk, und Reich wider Reich.
11 And great earthquakes will be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences: and fearful sights, and great signs will there be from heaven.
Große Erdbeben wird es geben, und hin und wieder Hungersnöte und Seuchen, auch Schreckbilder und große Zeichen vom Himmel wird es geben.
12 But before all these they will lay their hands on you, and persecute [you], delivering [you] up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Vor diesem allem werden sie Hand an euch legen und euch verfolgen, indem sie euch in die Synagogen und Gefängnisse ausliefern, zur Abführung vor Könige und Statthalter, um meines Namens willen.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Es wird euch zum Zeugnis ausschlagen.
14 Settle [it] therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer.
So nehmet euch denn vor, eure Verteidigung nicht voraus einzuüben.
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
Denn ich will euch Mund und Weisheit geben, der alle eure Widersacher nicht widerstehen oder widersprechen können.
16 And ye will be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsmen, and friends; and [some] of you will they cause to be put to death.
Ihr werdet aber ausgeliefert werden selbst von Eltern und Brüdern, und Verwandten und Freunden, und sie werden aus eurer Mitte töten,
17 And ye will be hated by all [men] for my name's sake.
und ihr werdet gehaßt sein von allen um meines Namens willen.
18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish.
Und kein Haar von eurem Kopfe soll verloren gehen.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
Durch eure Standhaftigkeit sollt ihr euer Leben gewinnen.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that its desolation is nigh.
Wenn ihr aber Jerusalem von Lagern umgeben sehet, hierauf erkennet, daß seine Verwüstung gekommen ist.
21 Then let them who are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them who are in the midst of it depart [from it]; and let not them that are in the countries enter into it.
Hierauf mögen die in Judäa fliehen in die Berge, und die drinnen sind, mögen hinausgehen, und die auf dem Lande sind, nicht hineingehen.
22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Denn dies sind Tage der Vergeltung, zur Erfüllung alles dessen, was geschrieben steht.
23 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that nurse infants in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Wehe den Schwangeren und den Säugenden in jenen Tagen; denn es wird große Not sein auf der Erde, und Zorngericht über dieses Volk.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles shall be fulfilled.
Und sie werden durch die Schneide des Schwertes fallen, und werden gefangen geführt werden unter alle Völker, und Jerusalem wird zertreten werden von Heiden, bis daß die Zeiten der Heiden erfüllt sind.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Und es werden Zeichen geschehen an Sonne, Mond und Sternen, und auf der Erde werden die Völker sich zusammendrängen in Angst vor dem Tosen des Meeres und seiner Fluten,
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for apprehension of those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
da die Menschen vergehen vor Furcht und Erwartung dessen, was über die Welt kommt; denn die Gewalten der Himmel werden erzittern.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with power and great glory.
Und hierauf werden sie den Sohn des Menschen kommen sehen in einer Wolke mit großer Macht und Herrlichkeit.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads: for your redemption draweth nigh.
Wenn aber das anfängt, dann richtet euch auf, und erhebet eure Häupter, denn es nahet eure Erlösung.
29 And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig-tree, and all the trees;
Und er sagte ihnen ein Gleichnis: sehet den Feigenbaum und alle Bäume;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your ownselves that summer is now nigh at hand.
wenn sie schon austreiben, könnt ihr im Zusehen von selbst merken, daß der Sommer schon nahe ist.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
So auch ihr, wenn ihr dieses geschehen seht, so merket, daß das Reich Gottes nahe ist.
32 Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Wahrlich ich sage euch, dieses Geschlecht wird nimmermehr vergehen, bis es alles geschieht.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my word shall not pass away.
Der Himmel und die Erde werden vergehen, aber meine Worte werden nimmermehr vergehen.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares.
Achtet aber auf euch selbst, daß eure Herzen nicht beschwert werden durch Berauschung, Trunkenheit und Sorgen der Nahrung, und jener Tag plötzlich über euch falle,
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
wie ein Netz; denn er wird hereinbrechen über alle, die da wohnen auf der ganzen Erde hin.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Wachet aber zu aller Zeit mit Beten, damit ihr im Stande seid, zu entgehen dem allem, was da kommen soll, und zu stehen vor dem Sohne des Menschen.
37 And in the day-time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called [the mount] of Olives.
Er war aber die Tage über im Tempel und lehrte. Nachts aber gieng er hinaus und übernachtete am Berge, den man den Oelberg heißt.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
Und alles Volk kam in der Frühe zu ihm, im Tempel ihn zu hören.
