Luke 20
1 And it came to pass, [that] on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple, and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon [him], with the elders,
ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಯೇಸು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರೂ ಹಿರಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು
2 And spoke to him, saying, Tell us, By what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು? ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
3 And he answered and said to them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯ ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಿರಿ.
4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?
ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗೆ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದದ್ದೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದಲೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?
ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ, “‘ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ’ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಆತನು, ‘ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ?’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವರು.
6 But if we say, From men; all the people will stone us: for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.
‘ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ಬಂತು,’ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಅವರು ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿ,
7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence [it was].
“ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೋ ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
8 And Jesus said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಸಹ ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
9 Then he began to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
ಬಳಿಕ ಯೇಸು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು: “ಒಬ್ಬನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು, ಅದನ್ನು ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲ ದೂರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಹೋದನು.
10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent [him] away empty.
ಫಲದ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು, ಬರಿಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and treated [him] shamefully, and sent [him] away empty.
ಯಜಮಾನನು ಪುನಃ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಎರಡನೆಯವನನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಹೊಡೆದು, ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿ ಬರಿಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
12 And again he sent the third: and they wounded him also, and cast [him] out.
ಆ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಮೂರನೆಯವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಗಾಯಪಡಿಸಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be when they see him they will reverence him.
“ಆಗ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟದ ಯಜಮಾನನು, ‘ನಾನೇನು ಮಾಡಲಿ? ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಗನನ್ನೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು, ಬಹುಶಃ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗಾದರೂ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆಕೊಟ್ಟಾರು,’ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
“ಆದರೆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ, ‘ಇವನೇ ಬಾಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನು. ಇವನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕೋಣ. ಆಗ ಆಸ್ತಿ ನಮ್ಮದಾಗುವುದು,’ ಎಂದು ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed [him]. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಂದರು. “ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟದ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವನು?
16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. And when they heard [it], they said, may that never be.
ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು,” ಎಂದರು. ಜನರು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಹಾಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಆಗಬಾರದು!” ಎಂದರು.
17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ, “ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, “‘ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು,’ ಎಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವುದರ ಅರ್ಥ ಏನು?
18 Whoever shall fall upon that stone, shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವವನು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗುವನು; ಆದರೆ ಅದೇ ಕಲ್ಲು ಯಾವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅದು ಜಜ್ಜಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು,” ಎಂದರು.
19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹವಣಿಸಿದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೇ ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
20 And they watched [him], and sent forth spies, who should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him to the power and authority of the governor.
ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹೊಂಚಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ, ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು, ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂದು ನಟಿಸುವ ಗೂಢಚಾರರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person [of any], but teachest the way of God truly:
ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಗುರುವೇ, ನೀವು ಮುಖ ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದು ನಾವು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು.
22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Cesar, or not?
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾದದ್ದೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, Why tempt ye me?
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ,
24 Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Cesar's.
“ಒಂದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಯಾರ ಮುದ್ರೆ? ಯಾರ ಲಿಪಿ?” ಎಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು, “ಕೈಸರನದು,” ಎಂದರು.
25 And he said to them, Render therefore to Cesar the things which are Cesar's, and to God the things which are God's.
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಕೈಸರನದನ್ನು ಕೈಸರನಿಗೂ ದೇವರದ್ದನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಕೊಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marveled at his answer, and held their peace.
ಯೇಸು ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು. ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಉತ್ತರಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರು.
27 Then came to [him] certain of the Sadducees (who deny that there is any resurrection) and they asked him,
ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವ ಸದ್ದುಕಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು, ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ,
28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote to us, If any man's brother should die, having a wife, and he should die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
“ಬೋಧಕರೇ, ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ತರೆ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನು ಅವನ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೋಶೆ ನಮಗೆ ಬರೆದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
29 There were therefore seven brothers: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
ಹೀಗೆ ಏಳುಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರಿದ್ದರು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂತಾನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟನು.
30 And the second took her for a wife, and he died childless.
ಎರಡನೆಯವನೂ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂತಾನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೃತನಾದನು.
31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: And they left no children, and died.
ಮೂರನೆಯವನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದನು, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಜನರು ಸಹ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಧನರಾದರು.
32 Last of all the woman died also.
ಕೊನೆಗೆ, ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಸಹ ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿದಳು.
33 Therefore in the resurrection, whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯು ಯಾರ ಪತ್ನಿಯಾಗಿರುವಳು? ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಏಳುಮಂದಿಯೂ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಾ?” ಎಂದರು.
34 And Jesus answering, said to them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: (aiōn g165)
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಜನರು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. (aiōn g165)
35 But they who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
ಆದರೆ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತವರು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ, ಯೋಗ್ಯರೆಂದು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. (aiōn g165)
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal to the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ದೇವದೂತರಿಗೆ ಸರಿಸಮಾನರೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
ಆದರೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ಪೊದೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು, ‘ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರು, ಇಸಾಕನ ದೇವರು, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರು,’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಸತ್ತವರು ಏಳುತ್ತಾರೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live to him.
ದೇವರು ಜೀವಿತರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹೊರತು ಸತ್ತವರಿಗಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
39 Then certain of the scribes answering, said, Master, thou hast well said.
ಆಗ ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಬೋಧಕರೇ, ನೀವು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
40 And after that, they durst not ask him any question at all.
ಯಾರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
41 And he said to them, How say they that Christ is David's son?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪುತ್ರನೆಂದು ಜನರು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?
42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
ದಾವೀದನು ತಾನೇ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ: “‘ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತದೇವರಿಗೆ: “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳನ್ನು
43 Till I make thy enemies thy footstool.
ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಪೀಠವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರು.”’
44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
ಆದಕಾರಣ ದಾವೀದನು ತಾನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು, ‘ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು,’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವಾಗ, ಅವರು ದಾವೀದನ ಪುತ್ರನಾಗುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
45 Then in the audience of all the people, he said to his disciples,
ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ,
46 Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
“ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಿ. ಅವರು ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ತಿರುಗಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಯಸುವವರೂ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಆಸನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಔತಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಯಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ;
47 Who devour widows' houses, and for a show make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
ಇವರು ವಿಧವೆಯರ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ದೋಚಿ ನಟನೆಗಾಗಿ ಉದ್ದವಾದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಂಥವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವರು,” ಎಂದರು.
