< Luke 17 >

1 Then he said to the disciples, It is impossible but that causes of sin will come: but woe [to him] by whom they come!
Ọ sịrị ndị na-eso ụzọ ya, “Ihe ndị nke na-eme ka mmadụ jehie aghaghị ịdị, ma ahụhụ ga-adịrị onye ọbụla ọnọdụ ndị a ga-esi nʼaka ya bịa.
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to fall into sin.
Ọ ga-akara gị mma ka e kenye gị nkume igwe nri nʼolu, tụnye gị nʼime oke osimiri, karịa na ị ga-eduhie otu nʼime ụmụntakịrị ndị a ụzọ.
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother shall trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he shall repent forgive him.
Kpachapụrụnụ onwe unu anya! “Ọ bụrụ na nwanna gị e mejọọ gị, baara ya mba. Ọ bụrụ na o chegharịa, gbaghara ya.
4 And if he shall trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day shall turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Ọ bụrụkwa na o mejọọ gị ugboro asaa nʼotu ụbọchị, rịọkwa gị ugboro asaa sị, ‘E chegharịala m,’ ị ghaghị ịgbaghara ya.”
5 And the apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith.
Ndị ozi ya sịrị ya, “Onyenwe anyị, mee ka okwukwe anyị dị ukwuu!”
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye might say to this sycamine-tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.
Onyenwe anyị zara, “Ọ bụrụ na unu nwere okwukwe nke ha ka mkpụrụ mọstaadị, unu nwere ike ị sị osisi ukwu a, Ka e site na mgbọrọgwụ hopu gị ma kụọkwa gị nʼime oke osimiri, ọ ga-erubere unu isi.
7 But which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him immediately, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to eat?
“Ọ bụ onye nʼime unu nke nwere ohu onye si ebe ọ gara rụọ ọrụ maọbụ ịzụ atụrụ lọbata, ga-asị ya, ‘Mee ngwangwa nọdụ ala rie nri’?
8 And will not rather say to him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drank; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Ọ gaghị asị ya, ‘Siere m nri ọsịịsọ, kwadoo onwe gị jere m ozi ka m na-eri na aṅụkwa ihe ọṅụṅụ; emesịa ị ga-eri nri ma ṅụọ ihe ọṅụṅụ nke gị’?
9 Doth he thank that servant, because he did the things that were commanded him? I suppose not.
Ọ ga-ekele ohu ahụ nʼihi na ọ rụrụ ọrụ o kwesiri ịrụ?
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all the things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which it was our duty to do.
Nʼotu aka ahụ, mgbe unu rụchara ọrụ niile unu kwesiri ịrụ, ihe unu ga-ekwu bụ, ‘Anyị bụ ụmụ ohu na-ekwesighị ekwesi, anyị emeela ihe anyị kwesiri ime.’”
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
Ka ọ na-aga Jerusalem, o sitere nʼụzọ dị nʼagbata Sameria na Galili.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood at a distance.
Mgbe ọ banyere nʼotu obodo nta, ndị ekpenta iri sitere nʼebe dị anya zute ya.
13 And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Ha tiri mkpu nʼoke olu sị, “Jisọs nna anyị ukwuu, mere anyị ebere.”
14 And when he saw [them], he said to them, Go, show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, that as they were going, they were cleansed.
Mgbe ọ hụrụ ha, ọ sịrị ha, “Gaanụ gosi ndị nchụaja onwe unu.” Dị ka ha na-aga, e mere ka ha dị ọcha.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
Mgbe otu nʼime ha chọpụtara na a gwọọla ya, ọ laghachiri azụ, jiri oke olu na-eto Chineke.
16 And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Ọ dara nʼala nʼụkwụ ya, kelee ya. Ọ bụ onye Sameria.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?
Jisọs jụrụ sị, “Ọ bụghị mmadụ iri ka e mere ka ha dị ọcha, ebeekwanụ ka itoolu ndị ọzọ nọ?
18 There are not found returning to give glory to God, save this stranger.
Ọ bu naanị onye mba ọzọ a lọghachiri inye Chineke otuto?”
19 And he said to him, Arise, depart: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Mgbe ahụ, ọ sịrị ya, “Bilie, laa, okwukwe gị agwọọla gị.”
20 And when he was asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation.
Ma mgbe ndị Farisii jụrụ ya sị, Olee mgbe alaeze Chineke ga-abịa? O kwuru, “Ọbịbịa alaeze Chineke agaghị a bụ nʼụzọ a ga-eji anya efu hụ ya.
21 Neither will they say, Lo here! or lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Ha agaghịkwa asị, ‘Lee, ọ nọ nʼebe a,’ maọbụ, ‘nʼebe ahụ,’ nʼihi nʼezie, alaeze Chineke nọ nʼetiti unu.”
22 And he said to his disciples, The days will come, when ye will desire to see one of the days of the son of man, and ye shall not see [it].
Mgbe ahụ, ọ gwara ndị na-eso ụzọ ya, “Oge na-abịa mgbe ọ ga-agụsi unu agụụ ike ịhụ otu nʼime ụbọchị nke Nwa nke Mmadụ, ma unu agaghị ahụ ya.
23 And they will say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after [them], nor follow them.
Ha ga-asị unu, ‘Lee, nʼebe ahụ,’ maọbụ, ‘Lee, nʼebe a,’ unu agala, unu esokwala ha.
24 For as the lightning that lighteneth from the one [part] under heaven, shineth to the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
Nʼihi na Nwa nke Mmadụ nʼụbọchị ya ga-adị ka amụma nke eluigwe nke na-enye ìhè na mbara eluigwe site nʼotu ebe ruo nʼebe nke ọzọ.
25 But first he must suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.
Ma ọ ghaghị ibu ụzọ hụọ ọtụtụ ahụhụ, ọgbọ a ga-ajụkwa ya.
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
“Dị ka ọ dị nʼụbọchị Noa, otu a ka ọ ga-adịkwa nʼụbọchị Nwa nke Mmadụ.
27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Ha nọ na-eri na-aṅụ, na-alụ nwunye na-ekekwa ụmụ ha di, ruo mgbe Noa banyere nʼụgbọ mmiri. Oke iju mmiri ahụ bịakwara laa ha nʼiyi.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
“Otu a ka ọ dịkwa nʼoge Lọt. Ha nọ na-eri, na-aṅụ, na-azụrịtakwa ahịa, na-akụ mkpụrụ, na-arụkwa ụlọ.
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all:
Ma nʼụbọchị ahụ Lọt si nʼobodo Sọdọm pụta, ọkụ na nkume dị ọkụ sitere nʼeluigwe zoo ka mmiri, laa ha niile nʼiyi.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
“Otu a ka ọ ga-adịkwa nʼụbọchị a ga-eme ka Nwa nke Mmadụ pụta ìhè.
31 In that day, he who shall be upon the house-top, and his furniture in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
Nʼụbọchị ahụ, onye ọbụla nọ nʼelu ụlọ, ma ihe ya dị nʼime ụlọ, arịtukwala ịba nʼime ụlọ iburu ngwongwo ndị ahụ. Nʼotu aka ahụ, onye ọbụla nọ nʼubi, ya ghara ịlọghachita.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
Chetakwanụ nwunye Lọt.
33 Whoever shall seek to save his life, shall lose it; and whoever shall lose his life, shall preserve it.
Onye ọbụla chọrọ iche ndụ ya nche ka ọ ga-efunarị, ma onye ọbụla na-atụfu ndụ ya ga-echebe ya.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two [men] in one bed; the one will be taken, and the other will be left.
Asị m unu, nʼanyasị ahụ mmadụ abụọ ga-edina nʼotu akwa, a ga-ewepụ otu nʼime ha hapụ onye nke ọzọ.
35 Two [women] will be grinding together; the one will be taken, and the other left.
Ụmụ nwanyị abụọ ga na-akwọ ọka nʼotu ebe, a ga-ewere otu ma hapụ nke ọzọ.”
36 Two [men] will be in the field; the one will be taken, and the other left.
Ụmụ nwoke abụọ ga-anọ nʼubi, a ga-ewere otu onye hapụ nke ọzọ.
37 And they answered and said to him, Where Lord? And he said to them, Wherever the body [is], thither will the eagles be collected.
Ha jụrụ ya sị, “Olee ebe, Onyenwe anyị?” Ọ sịrị ha, “Ebe ọbụla ozu dị, ka udele na-ezukọta.”
