Luke 11
1 And it came to pass, that as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
၁အခါတစ်ပါး၌ကိုယ်တော်သည်တစ်ခုသော အရပ်တွင်ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုလျက်နေတော် မူ၏။ ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြီးဆုံးသောအခါ တပည့်တော်တစ်ဦးက ``အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ယောဟန် သည်မိမိ၏တပည့်များအားဆုတောင်းပတ္ထ နာပြုရန်နည်းပေးသကဲ့သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား လည်းပေးတော်မူပါ'' ဟုလျှောက်ထား၏။
2 And he said to them, When ye pray, say, Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
၂ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်တို့ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုသော အခါ၊ `အို အဖ၊ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏နာမတော်ကို ရိုသေလေးမြတ်ကြပါစေသော။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏အုပ်စိုးတော်မူခြင်းရှိပါ စေသော။
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
၃လိုအပ်သောအစားအစာကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား၊ နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်းပေးသနားတော်မူပါ။
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
၄အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားသူတစ်ပါးတို့မှားမိသည့် အပြစ်များကို၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဖြေလွှတ်ကြသကဲ့သို့အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ အပြစ်များကိုဖြေလွှတ်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်လွန်ကဲသောစုံစမ်းသွေး ဆောင်ခြင်းကို မခံရပါစေနှင့်' ဟူ၍မြွက်ဆိုကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
5 And he said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go to him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves:
၅ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်တို့တွင်တစ်စုံတစ် ယောက်သောသူသည်သန်းခေါင်အချိန်၌မိတ် ဆွေတစ်ဦး၏အိမ်သို့သွား၍ `အဆွေ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်၏ အိမ်သို့ခရီးသည်မိတ်ဆွေတစ်ယောက်ရောက်ရှိ လာပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ထံတွင်သူ့အားကျွေး စရာဘာမျှမရှိသဖြင့် မုန့်သုံးလုံးကိုချေး လိုပါသည်' ဟုဆိုသော်၊-
6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
၆
7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.
၇အိမ်ရှင်က `ကျွန်ုပ်ကိုမနှောင့်ယှက်ပါနှင့်။ အိမ် တံခါးကိုပိတ်ထားပြီးလေပြီ။ သားသမီး များနှင့်ကျွန်ုပ်သည်အိပ်ရာဝင်ကြပြီးဖြစ် ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်ကျွန်ုပ်ထ၍သင့်အားဘာမျှ မပေးနိုင်ပါ' ဟုအိမ်တွင်းမှပြောလိမ့်မည်။-
8 I say to you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
၈အိမ်ရှင်သည်မိတ်ဆွေတစ်ဦးအနေဖြင့်အိပ်ရာ မှထ၍သူ့အားမုန့်များကိုပေးလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ သို့သော်လည်းထိုသူသည်အရှက်အကြောက် ကင်းမဲ့စွာဆက်လက်တောင်းခံနေသောကြောင့် အိမ်ရှင်သည်ထ၍လိုသမျှသောမုန့်များ ကိုပေးလိမ့်မည်။-
9 And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you.
၉သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကားတောင်းကြလော့၊ တောင်းလျှင်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ရှာကြလော့၊ ရှာ လျှင်တွေ့ကြလိမ့်မည်။ တံခါးကိုခေါက်ကြ လော့၊ ခေါက်လျှင်တံခါးကိုဖွင့်လိမ့်မည်။-
10 For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, the door shall be opened.
၁၀တောင်းသူသည်ရလိမ့်မည်။ ရှာသောသူသည် တွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ တံခါးကိုခေါက်သောသူအား တံခါးကိုဖွင့်ပေးလိမ့်မည်။-
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he shall ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
၁၁သင်တို့တွင်အဘယ်ဖခင်သည်မိမိ၏သား ကငါးကိုတောင်းလျှင်မြွေကိုပေးမည်နည်း။-
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
၁၂ကြက်ဥကိုတောင်းလျှင်ကင်းမြီးကောက်ကို ပေးမည်နည်း။-
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
၁၃သင်တို့သည်ဆိုးသောသူများဖြစ်လျက်ပင် သားသမီးများအားအကောင်းကိုပေးတတ် လျှင်ကောင်းကင်ဘုံရှင်သင်တို့အဖသည် တောင်းလျှောက်သောသူတို့အားသန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကိုသာ၍ပေးတော်မူမည်မဟုတ် လော'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
14 And he was casting out a demon, and it was dumb. And it came to pass when the demon was gone out, the dumb spoke; and the people wondered.
၁၄သခင်ယေရှုသည်ဆွံ့အသောနတ်မိစ္ဆာကို နှင်ထုတ်တော်မူ၍နတ်မိစ္ဆာထွက်သွားသည် နောက်ဆွံ့အသောသူသည်စကားပြော လေ၏။ လူပရိသတ်တို့သည်များစွာအံ့သြ ကြ၏။-
15 But some of them said, He casteth out demons through Beelzebub, the chief of the demons.
၁၅သို့ရာတွင်လူအချို့က ``ကိုယ်တော်သည်နတ် မိစ္ဆာဘုရင်ဗေလဇေဗုလကိုအမှီပြု၍နတ် မိစ္ဆာများကိုနှင်ထုတ်သည်'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
16 And others tempting [him], sought from him a sign from heaven.
၁၆အချို့ကကိုယ်တော်အားပရိယာယ်ဆင် ၍ ``ကောင်းကင်မှနိမိတ်လက္ခဏာတစ်ရပ် ကိုပြတော်မူပါ'' ဟုတောင်းခံကြ၏။-
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house [divided] against a house falleth.
၁၇ကိုယ်တော်သည်ထိုသူတို့၏အကြံအစည်ကို သိတော်မူသဖြင့် ``တိုင်းနိုင်ငံတစ်ခုတွင်လူ တို့စိတ်ဝမ်းကွဲပြားလျက်နေလျှင် ထိုနိုင်ငံသည် မကြာမီပျက်စီးမည်သာဖြစ်၏။ အိမ်ထောင်တစ် ခုတွင်အိမ်သူအိမ်သားတို့စိတ်ဝမ်းကွဲပြား လျက်နေလျှင် ထိုအိမ်ထောင်သည်ပျက်စီး မည်သာဖြစ်၏။-
18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out demons through Beelzebub.
၁၈ထို့ကြောင့်စာတန်၏နိုင်ငံတွင်စိတ်ဝမ်းကွဲပြား မှုရှိလျှင် အဘယ်သို့လျှင်ရပ်တည်နိုင်မည်နည်း။ ငါသည်ဗေလဇေဗုလကိုအမှီပြု၍ နတ်မိစ္ဆာ များကိုနှင်ထုတ်သည်ဟုသင်တို့ဆိုကြ၏။-
19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast [them] out? therefore shall they be your judges.
၁၉အကယ်၍ငါသည်ဗေလဇေဗုလကိုအမှီ ပြု၍နတ်မိစ္ဆာများကိုနှင်ထုတ်သည်ဆိုပါမူ သင်တို့၏တပည့်များကားမည်သူကိုအမှီ ပြု၍ နတ်မိစ္ဆာများကိုနှင်ထုတ်ကြသနည်း။ ထိုသူတို့ကပင်လျှင်သင်တို့မှားကြောင်း သက်သေထူကြ၏။-
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out demons, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
၂၀သို့ရာတွင်ငါသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏တန်ခိုး တော်အားဖြင့်နတ်မိစ္ဆာများကိုနှင်ထုတ်သည် ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော် သည်သင်တို့တွင်တည်လျက်ရှိလေပြီ။''
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
၂၁``ခွန်အားကြီးသူသည်လက်နက်စုံနှင့် မိမိ အိမ်ကိုစောင့်ကြပ်နေသောအခါ သူ၏ဥစ္စာ ပစ္စည်းများသည်လုံခြုံမှုရှိ၏။-
22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
၂၂သို့ရာတွင်ထိုသူထက်ခွန်အားကြီးသူသည် ရောက်လာ၍ သူ့ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်အောင်မြင်သော အခါ သူအားကိုးအားထားပြုသည့်လက် နက်များကိုသိမ်းယူသွားလိမ့်မည်။ တိုက်ခိုက် ၍ရရှိသောဥစ္စာပစ္စည်းများကိုလည်းခွဲ ဝေလိမ့်မည်။''
23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
၂၃``ငါ့ဘက်မှာမနေသူသည်ငါ့ကိုဆန့်ကျင် သူဖြစ်၏။ ငါနှင့်အတူမစုမသိမ်းသူသည် ကြဲဖြန့်သူဖြစ်၏။''
24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest: and finding none, he saith, I will return to my house whence I came out.
၂၄``ညစ်ညမ်းသောနတ်သည်လူထဲကထွက်သည့် အခါခြောက်သွေ့ရာအရပ်သို့လှည့်လည်၍ နားစရာနေရာကိုရှာတတ်၏။ ရှာမတွေ့ လျှင် `ငါယခင်နေခဲ့သည့်နေရာသို့ပင် ပြန်ပါအံ့' ဟုဆို၏။-
25 And when he cometh, he findeth [it] swept and garnished.
၂၅သို့ဖြစ်၍သူသည်ထိုနေရာသို့ပြန်သွား သောအခါ သပ်ရပ်စွာလှဲကျင်းထားသည် ကိုတွေ့သော်၊-
26 Then he goeth and taketh [to him] seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first.
၂၆မိမိထက်ညစ်ညမ်းသောနတ်ခုနစ်ဦးကိုခေါ် ခဲ့ပြီးလျှင်ထိုနေရာတွင်နေလေ၏။ သို့ဖြစ် ၍နတ်ပူးဝင်သူ၏နောက်ဆုံးဖြစ်အင်သည် ပထမဖြစ်အင်ထက်ဆိုးလေ၏'' ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
27 And it came to pass, as he was speaking these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said to him, Blessed [is] the womb that bore thee, and the paps which nourished thee.
၂၇သခင်ယေရှုသည်ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူပြီး သောအခါ လူပရိသတ်ထဲကအမျိုးသမီး တစ်ယောက်သည် ``အရှင့်ကိုမွေး၍နို့တိုက် ရသောအမျိုးသမီးသည်မင်္ဂလာရှိပါ၏'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။
28 But he said, Yes, rather blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
၂၈သို့ရာတွင်ကိုယ်တော်က ``ဘုရားသခင်၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကိုကြား၍လိုက်နာသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏ဟုဆိုလျှင်ပို၍သင့်မြတ်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟူ၍မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
29 And when the people were assembled in crowds, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet.
၂၉လူပရိသတ်တို့သည်စုရုံးလျက်နေကြစဉ် ကိုယ်တော်က ``ယခုခေတ်လူတို့သည်အလွန် ဆိုးညစ်လှပါသည်တကား။ သူတို့သည်နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာကိုတောင်းဆိုကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ယောန ၏နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာမှတစ်ပါးအဘယ်နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာကိုမျှသူတို့အားပြလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။-
30 For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also shall the Son of man be to this generation.
၃၀နိနေဝေမြို့သားတို့အတွက်ယောနသည် နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ဤခေတ်လူတို့ အတွက်လူသားသည်လည်းနိမိတ်လက္ခဏာ ဖြစ်ပေအံ့။-
31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth, to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here.
၃၁ရှေဘပြည်ကဘုရင်မသည်ဉာဏ်ပညာရှင် ရှောလမုန်မင်းကြီး၏စကားကိုကြားနာရ အောင်ဝေးလံရပ်ခြားတိုင်းတစ်ပါးမှလာ ရောက်ခဲ့၏။ ယခုအခါ၌မူရှောလမုန်ထက် ကြီးမြတ်သည့်အရာရောက်ရှိနေလေပြီ။ သို့ ဖြစ်၍တရားစီရင်တော်မူရာနေ့တွင်ရှေဘ ပြည်ဘုရင်မသည်ထ၍ထိုသူတို့အားပြစ် တင်စွပ်စွဲလိမ့်မည်။-
32 The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah [is] here.
၃၂နိနေဝေမြို့သားတို့သည်ယောနဟောပြော သွန်သင်ချက်ကြောင့်နောင်တရခဲ့ကြ၏။ ယခု မှာမူယောနထက်ကြီးမြတ်သည့်အရာရောက် ရှိနေလေပြီ။ တရားစီရင်တော်မူရာနေ့၌ နိနေဝေမြို့သားတို့သည်ထ၍ဤလူတို့ အားပြစ်တင်စွပ်စွဲကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။
33 No man when he hath lighted a candle, putteth [it] in a secret place, neither under a close vessel, but on a candlestick, that they who come in may see the light.
၃၃လူတို့သည် ``ဆီမီးကိုထွန်းညှိ၍ဖုံးကွယ်ထား လေ့မရှိ။ တောင်းဖြင့်လည်းအုပ်ထားလေ့မရှိ။ အိမ်ထဲသို့ဝင်လာသူများအလင်းရစေရန် မီးတင်ခုံပေါ်မှာတင်ထားလေ့ရှိ၏။-
34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thy eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when [thy eye] is evil, thy body also [is] full of darkness.
၃၄မျက်စိသည်ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာအတွက်ဆီမီးသဖွယ်ဖြစ် ၏။ မျက်စိကောင်းလျှင်သင်၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာတစ်ခု လုံးလင်းလိမ့်မည်။ မျက်စိမကောင်းလျှင်မူကား သင်၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာတစ်ခုလုံးသည်မှောင်လျက် နေလိမ့်မည်။-
35 Take heed therefore, that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
၃၅သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်တို့တွင်ရှိသည့်အလင်းသည် အမှောင်မဖြစ်စေရန်သတိပြုကြလော့။-
36 If thy whole body therefore [be] full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light; as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
၃၆အကယ်၍သင်၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာတစ်ခုလုံးသည် မှောင်ကွက်လုံးဝမရှိဘဲလင်းလျက်နေလျှင် ဆီမီးသည်တောက်ပသောအလင်းဖြင့်သင့် အပေါ်၌ထွန်းလင်းသကဲ့သို့ သင်တို့ကိုယ် ခန္ဓာတစ်ခုလုံးသည်အလင်းနှင့်ပြည့်လိမ့် မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
37 And as he was speaking, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to eat.
၃၇ထိုသို့ကိုယ်တော်မိန့်တော်မူပြီးသောအခါ ဖာရိရှဲတစ်ယောက်သည်ကိုယ်တော်အားည စာသုံးဆောင်တော်မူရန်ပင့်ဖိတ်၏။-
38 And when the Pharisee saw [it], he marveled that he had not first washed before dinner.
၃၈ကိုယ်တော်သည်ထိုသူ၏အိမ်သို့ကြွ၍စားပွဲ တွင်ထိုင်တော်မူ၏။ ဤသို့အစားအစာမသုံး ဆောင်မီကိုယ်တော်သည်ဆေးကြောခြင်းပြု တော်မမူသည်ကိုထိုဖာရိရှဲမြင်သောအခါ အံ့သြလေ၏။-
39 And the Lord said to him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
၃၉သခင်ဘုရားက ``သင်တို့ဖာရိရှဲများသည်ပန်း ကန်ခွက်ယောက်များ၏ပြင်ပကိုစင်ကြယ်အောင် ဆေးကြောကြသော်လည်းသင်တို့၏စိတ်အတွင်း မှာကားအကြမ်းဖက်မှု၊ ဆိုးညစ်မှုတို့ဖြင့်ပြည့် လျက်နေ၏။-
40 [Ye] fools, did not he that made that which is without, make that which is within also?
၄၀အချင်းလူမိုက်တို့၊ ပြင်ပသဏ္ဌာန်ကိုဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောအရှင်သည် အတွင်းသဏ္ဌာန်ကို လည်းဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသည်မဟုတ်လော။-
41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and behold, all things are clean to you.
၄၁သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့၏ပန်းကန်ခွက်ယောက် များတွင်ရှိသည့်အရာများကိုဆင်းရဲသူ များအားပေးကမ်းကြလော့။ သို့ပြုလျှင် အရာခပ်သိမ်းတို့သည်သင်တို့အတွက်သန့် စင်လိမ့်မည်။''
42 But woe to you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint, and rue, and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the others undone.
၄၂``ဖာရိရှဲတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ သင်တို့သည်ပင်စိမ်းရွက်၊ လူရွက်နှင့်အခြား ဆေးဖက်ဝင်အရွက်အမျိုးမျိုးကိုဆယ်ဖို့ တစ်ဖို့ပေးလှူကြသော်လည်းတရားမျှတ မှုနှင့်ဘုရားသခင်အားကြည်ညိုမှုတို့ကို လျစ်လူရှုကြသည်။ သင်တို့သည်ဆယ်ဖို့ တစ်ဖို့ပေးလှူခြင်းကိုတရားမျှတမှုနှင့် ဘုရားသခင်အားကြည်ညိုမှုတို့ကိုပါ ကျင့်သုံးသင့်၏။''
43 Woe to you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
၄၃``အချင်းဖာရိရှဲတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်အမင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ သင်တို့သည်တရားဇရပ်များတွင် မြင့်မြတ်သောနေရာများကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ စျေးရပ်ကွက်တွင်လူတို့အလေးပြုခြင်း ကိုလည်းကောင်းနှစ်သက်ကြ၏။-
44 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over [them] are not aware [of them].
၄၄သင်တို့သည်အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ သင်တို့သည် အမှတ်အသားမရှိသည့်သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းများနှင့် တူ၏။ လူတို့သည်ထိုတွင်းများအပေါ်မှာ လျှောက်၍သွားကြသောအခါသင်္ချိုင်းတွင်း ဖြစ်မှန်းကိုမသိကြ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said to him, Master, thus saying, thou reproachest us also.
၄၅ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာတစ်ယောက်က ``ဆရာတော်၊ အရှင်ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူသည်မှာအကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကိုလည်းစော်ကားရာရောက်ပါသည်'' ဟု လျှောက်၏။
46 And he said, Woe to you also, [ye] lawyers, for ye load men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
၄၆ကိုယ်တော်က ``အချင်းကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်လည်းအမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ အထမ်း ရခက်သည့်ဝန်ထုပ်များကိုသင်တို့သည်လူ များအားထမ်းစေကြလျက်သင်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင် မူကားထိုဝန်ထုပ်များကိုလက်ဖျားနှင့်မျှ မတို့ကြ။-
47 Woe to you! for ye build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
၄၇သင်တို့သည်အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ သင်တို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးများကသတ်သောပရောဖက်များ အတွက်သင်တို့ကဂူများတည်ဆောက်ပေး ကြ၏။-
48 Truly ye bear testimony, that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchers.
၄၈ဤသို့လျှင်သင်တို့၏ဘိုးဘေးများကူးလွန် ခဲ့သည့်အမှုများတွင် သင်တို့အလိုတူအလို ပါဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သင်တို့၏ဘိုးဘေးများသည် ပရောဖက်များကိုသတ်၍ သင်တို့ကသင်္ချိုင်း များကိုတည်ဆောက်ပေးကြ၏။-
49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and [some] of them they will slay and persecute:
၄၉သို့ဖြစ်ခြင်းကြောင့်ဘုရားသခင်သည်ရွှေ ဉာဏ်တော်ဖြင့်`ဤလူများထဲသို့ပရောဖက် များ၊ စေတမန်များကိုငါစေလွှတ်မည်။ ထို ပရောဖက်များ၊ စေတမန်များအနက်အချို့ ကိုသူတို့ညှဉ်းဆဲ၍အချို့ကိုသတ်ကြလိမ့် မည်' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which hath been shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
၅၀သို့ဖြစ်၍အာဗေလမှသည်ဗိမာန်တော် အတွင်းပိုင်းနှင့်ယဇ်ပလ္လင်အကြားမှာ အသတ် ခံခဲ့ရသည့်ပရောဖက်ဇာခရိအထိ၊ ကမ္ဘာ တည်ချိန်မှစ၍အသတ်ခံခဲ့ရသောပရော ဖက်များ၏အသွေးကြောင့် ဤခေတ်လူတို့ သည်အပြစ်ဒဏ်စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရကြ လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအမှုအားလုံးအတွက် ဤခေတ် လူတို့သည်အပြစ်ဒဏ်စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရ ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟုငါအမှန်ဆို၏။
51 From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zacharias, who perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say to you, It shall be required of this generation.

52 Woe to you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye have not entered in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
၅၂``ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်အမင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ သင်တို့သည်အသိပညာဗိမာန် တံခါးသော့ကိုသိမ်းထားပြီးလျှင်ကိုယ်တိုင် လည်းမဝင်၊ ဝင်လိုသူများကိုလည်းဆီးတား ကြ၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
53 And as he said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge [him] vehemently, and to solicit him to speak of many things;
၅၃ထိုအရပ်မှကိုယ်တော်ထွက်ကြွတော်မူသော အခါကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာများနှင့်ဖာရိရှဲများ သည် ကိုယ်တော်အားပြင်းထန်စွာဝေဖန်မှုကို စတင်ပြုလုပ်လာကြ၏။-
54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something from his mouth, that they might accuse him.
၅၄နှုတ်တော်ထွက်စကားတွင်အမှားရှာရန် များစွာသောအကြောင်းအရာတို့ကိုမေး မြန်းကြ၏။
