John 13
1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
১ইহুদী সকলৰ নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ পূর্বে যীচুৱে জানিব পাৰিলে, যে এই জগতৰ পৰা পিতৃৰ ওচৰলৈ তেওঁৰ যোৱাৰ সময় ওচৰ চাপি আহিছে; সেয়েহে জগতত থকা নিজৰ লোক সকলক সকলো সময়তে প্ৰেম কৰি তেওঁলোকক শেষলৈকে প্ৰকৃত প্ৰেমৰ প্ৰমাণ দিলে।
2 And supper being ended (the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's [son], to betray him; )
২তেওঁলোকৰ ৰাতিৰ আহাৰ খোৱাৰ সময় হ’ল; ইতিমধ্যে চয়তানে যীচুক বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা কৰিবলৈ চিমোনৰ পুত্র ঈষ্কৰিয়োতীয়া যিহূদাৰ মনত কু-বুদ্ধি সুমুৱাই দিলে।
3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God, and was going to God;
৩যীচুৱে জানিছিল যে, পিতৃয়ে তেওঁক সকলো বস্তুৰ ওপৰত ক্ষমতা দিছে; তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰা আহিছে আৰু পুনৰাই তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰলৈ উভতি যাব।
4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
৪তেওঁ ৰাতি আহাৰ খোৱা ঠাইৰ পৰা উঠি আহিল আৰু গাত লোৱা কাপোৰ খন থৈ, এখন গামোচা ললে আৰু নিজৰ কঁকাল বান্ধিলে,
5 After that, he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples feet, and to wipe [them] with the towel with which he was girded.
৫তাৰ পাছত চৰিয়াত পানী বাকি লৈ তেওঁ শিষ্য সকলৰ ভৰি ধুৱাবলৈ ধৰিলে আৰু কঁকালত বান্ধি লোৱা গামোচাৰে তেওঁলোকৰ ভৰি মচিলে।
6 Then he cometh to Simon Peter: and Peter saith to him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
৬তাতে তেওঁ চিমোন পিতৰৰ ওচৰলৈ অহাত, পিতৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু আপুনি মোৰ ভৰি ধুৱাব নে?”
7 Jesus answered and said to him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
৭যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “মই কি কৰিছোঁ তুমি এতিয়া বুজি নাপাবা; কিন্তু এই বিষয়ে পাছত বুজি পাবা।”
8 Peter saith to him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn g165)
৮পিতৰে তেওঁক ক’লে “আপুনি মোৰ ভৰি কেতিয়াও নুধুৱাব।” যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দিলে, “যদি তোমাৰ ভৰি নুধুৱাওঁ, তেনেহলে মোৰে সৈতে তোমাৰ একো সম্পর্ক নাই।” (aiōn g165)
9 Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, not my feet only, but also [my] hands and [my] head.
৯তেতিয়া চিমোন পিতৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, মোৰ অকল ভৰি ধুই দিয়াই নহয়, কিন্তু মোৰ হাত আৰু মূৰো ধুৱাওক।”
10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash [his] feet, but is wholly clean: and ye are clean, but not all.
১০যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “গা ধোৱা লোকৰ ভৰি ধোৱাৰ বাহিৰে, আন একো ধুবৰ প্ৰয়োজন নাই; কিয়নো তেওঁৰ গোটেই শৰীৰ পৰিষ্কাৰ আছে। তোমালোকো পৰিষ্কাৰ হৈ আছা, কিন্তু সকলোৱেই নহয়৷”
11 For he knew who would betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
১১কোনে তেওঁক বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা কৰিব, সেই বিষয়ে যীচুৱে জানিছিল; এই কাৰণে তেওঁ ক’লে, “তোমালোক সকলো নিৰ্মল নহয়।”
12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said to them, Know ye what I have done to you?
১২যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকৰ ভৰি ধুৱাই উঠি, নিজৰ পিন্ধা কাপোৰ লৈ আকৌ বহিল; পাছত তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে মই যি কৰিলোঁ, সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে বুজিলা নে?
13 Ye call me Master, and Lord: and ye say well; for [so] I am.
১৩তোমালোকে যে মোক ‘গুৰু’ আৰু ‘প্ৰভু’ বুলি মাতিছা, সেয়া ঠিকেই কৰিছা; কিয়নো মই সেয়েই হওঁ।
14 If I then, [your] Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
১৪এতেকে প্ৰভু আৰু গুৰু যি মই; মই যদি তোমালোকৰ ভৰি ধুৱালোঁ, তেনেহলে তোমালোকেও ইজনে সিজনৰ ভৰি ধুই দিয়া উচিত।
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
১৫কিয়নো মই তোমালোকলৈ যি দৰে কৰিলোঁ, তোমালোকেও যেন সেইদৰে কৰা, এই কাৰণে তোমালোকক আৰ্হি দেখুৱালোঁ।
16 Verily, verily, I say to you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
১৬মই তোমালোকক অতি স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, নিজ গৰাকীতকৈ দাস ডাঙৰ নহয়; আৰু যি জনে পঠালে সেই জনতকৈ পঠোৱা বাৰ্তাবাহক জন ডাঙৰ নহয়।
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
১৭তোমালোকে এই সকলোবোৰ পালন কৰা; এইবোৰ পালন কৰিলে, তোমালোক আশীৰ্বাদৰ ভাগী হবা।
18 I speak not of you all; I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me, hath lifted up his heel against me.
১৮তোমালোকৰ সকলোৰে বাবে এই বিষয়ে কথা কৈছোঁ এনে নহয়; কিন্তু যি সকলক মই জানো তেওঁলোককহে মনোনীত কৰিলোঁ, তেওঁলোকক জানো; কিন্তু ধৰ্মশাস্ত্ৰৰ বচন সিদ্ধ হ’বলৈ; ‘যি জনে মোৰ পিঠা খায়, সেই জনে মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে গেৰুৱা দাঙিলে।’
19 Now I tell you before it cometh, that when it hath come to pass, ye may believe that I am [he].
১৯এইদৰে যেতিয়া ঘটিব, তেতিয়া ময়েই যে সেই জন হয়, ইয়াক তোমালোকে যেন বিশ্বাস কৰা, এই কাৰণে ঘটাৰ আগেয়ে, মই এতিয়াৰ পৰা তোমালোকক কৈ আছোঁ।
20 Verily, verily, I say to you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.
২০মই তোমালোকক অতি স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, মই যি জনক পঠাই দিওঁ, তেওঁক যি কোনাৱে গ্ৰহণ কৰে; তেওঁ মোকেই গ্ৰহণ কৰে আৰু যি কোনোৱে মোক গ্ৰহণ কৰে, তেওঁ মোক পঠোৱা জনকেই গ্ৰহণ কৰে।”
21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say to you, that one of you will betray me.
২১এই কথা কৈ, যীচুৱে আত্মাত বিৰক্তি পাই সাক্ষ্য দি ক’লে, “মই তোমালোকক অতি সঁচাকৈ কওঁ, তোমালোকৰ মাজৰ এজনেই মোক বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা কৰিব৷”
22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spoke.
২২শিষ্য সকলে ইজনে সিজনৰ মুখলৈ চাব ধৰিলে, কিন্তু কোন জনৰ বিষয়ে এই কথা ক’লে, সেই বিষয়ে নজনাৰ বাবে তেওঁলোক আচৰিত হ’ল।
23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom, one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
২৩যীচুৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ মাজৰ এজনক তেওঁ বহুত প্ৰেম কৰিছিল সেই শিষ্য জনে মেজৰ কাষত হেলনীয়া হৈ পৰি যীচুৰ বুকুৰ কাষতে আছিল৷
24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, to ask who it should be of whom he spoke.
২৪তেতিয়া চিমোন পিতৰে ইঙ্গিত দি সেই শিষ্য জনক ক’লে, “তেওঁ কাৰ বিষয়ে এই কথা কৈছে, সোধাচোন”?
25 He then lying on Jesus' breast, saith to him, Lord, who is it?
২৫তেতিয়া তেওঁ যীচুৰ বুকুলৈ হাউলি গৈ সুধিলে, “হে প্ৰভু, সেই জন নো কোন?”
26 Jesus answered, He it is to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon.
২৬যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দিলে, “মই যি জনক এই পিঠা ডোখৰ ভাঙি জুবুৰিয়াই ভগাই দিম, তেৱেঁই সেই জন।” তেতিয়া তেওঁ পিঠা ডোখৰ জুবুৰিয়াই লৈ, ঈষ্কৰিয়োতীয়া চিমোনৰ পুতেক যিহূদাক দিলে।
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus to him, What thou doest, do quickly.
২৭সেই পিঠা ডোখৰ পোৱাৰ পাছতেই, চয়তান তেওঁৰ ভিতৰ সোমাল। তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি যি কাম কৰিবলৈ লৈছা, সেই কাম বেগতে কৰা।”
28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spoke this to him.
২৮কিন্তু তেওঁ কিয় এই কথা ক’লে, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁৰ লগত মেজত ভোজন কৰিবলৈ বহা লোক সকলৰ কোনেও বুজি পোৱা নাছিল৷
29 For some [of them] thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said to him, Buy [those things] that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
২৯কিয়নো কিছুমানে ভাবিলে যে, যিহূদাৰ লগত ধনৰ জোলোঙা থকাৰ কাৰণে, ‘পৰ্বলৈ যি যি লাগে সেইবোৰ কিনিবলৈ নাইবা দৰিদ্ৰ সকলক কোনো বস্তু দিবলৈ’ যীচুৱে তেওঁক এই কথা ক’লে, ।
30 He then having received the sop, went immediately out: and it was night.
৩০তাতে তেওঁ সেই পিঠা ডোখৰ গ্ৰহণ কৰি, তেতিয়াই বাহিৰলৈ গ’ল। সেই সময়, নিশাৰ সময় আছিল।
31 Therefore when he had gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
৩১যেতিয়া সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা যিহূদা বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই গ’ল, যীচুৱে ক’লে, “এতিয়া মানুহৰ পুত্ৰ মহিমান্বিত হ’ল, ঈশ্বৰো তেওঁৰ যোগেদি মহিমান্বিত হ’ল৷
32 If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and will immediately glorify him.
৩২ঈশ্বৰ যদি তেওঁৰ যোগেদি মহিমান্বিত হ’ল, তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰেও পুত্ৰক নিজৰ যোগেদি মহিমান্বিত কৰিব, তেওঁ তৎক্ষণাৎতেই কৰিব।”
33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye will seek me: and, as I said to the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
৩৩মোৰ প্ৰিয় সন্তান সকল, তোমালোকৰ লগত মই অলপ সময়হে আছোঁ। তোমালোকে মোক বিচাৰিবা; কিন্তু ইহুদী সকলক যেনেকৈ কৈছিলোঁ যে, ‘মই যি ঠাইলৈ যাওঁ, সেই ঠাইলৈ তোমালোকে যাব নোৱাৰা’, তেনেকৈ এতিয়া তোমালোককো কৈছোঁ।
34 A new commandment I give to you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
৩৪মই তোমালোকক এটা নতুন আজ্ঞা দিওঁ, তোমালোকে পৰস্পৰে প্ৰেম কৰিবা; মই যেনেকৈ তোমালোকক প্ৰেম কৰিলোঁ, তেনেকৈ তোমালোকেও পৰস্পৰে প্ৰেম কৰিবা।
35 By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
৩৫তোমালোকৰ যদি পৰস্পৰৰ মাজত প্ৰেম থাকে, তেনেহলে তোমালোক যে মোৰ শিষ্য হয়, ইয়াক তাৰ দ্বাৰাই সকলোৱে জানিব।”
36 Simon Peter said to him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterward.
৩৬চিমোন পিতৰে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “হে প্ৰভু, আপুনি ক’লৈ যায়?” যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মই য’লৈ যাওঁ, তালৈ তুমি এতিয়া মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহিব নোৱাৰা; কিন্তু পাছত তুমি মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহিবা।”
37 Peter said to him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
৩৭পিতৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, এতিয়াই নো কি কাৰণে আপোনাৰ পাছে পাছে যাব নোৱাৰো? মই আপোনাৰ কাৰণে মোৰ প্ৰাণকো দিম।”
38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say to thee, The cock will not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
৩৮যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মোৰ কাৰণে তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ দিবা নে? মই তোমাক অতি স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, তুমি মোক দোকমোকালিতে কুকুৰাই ডাক দিয়াৰ আগেয়ে তিনি বাৰ অস্বীকাৰ কৰিবা।”
