Galatians 2
1 Then fourteen years after I went again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with [me] also.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಚತುರ್ದಶಸು ವತ್ಸರೇಷು ಗತೇಷ್ವಹಂ ಬರ್ಣಬ್ಬಾ ಸಹ ಯಿರೂಶಾಲಮನಗರಂ ಪುನರಗಚ್ಛಂ, ತದಾನೋಂ ತೀತಮಪಿ ಸ್ವಸಙ್ಗಿನಮ್ ಅಕರವಂ|
2 And I went by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them who were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run in vain.
ತತ್ಕಾಲೇಽಹಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರದರ್ಶನಾದ್ ಯಾತ್ರಾಮ್ ಅಕರವಂ ಮಯಾ ಯಃ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮೋಽಕಾರಿ ಕಾರಿಷ್ಯತೇ ವಾ ಸ ಯನ್ನಿಷ್ಫಲೋ ನ ಭವೇತ್ ತದರ್ಥಂ ಭಿನ್ನಜಾತೀಯಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಮಯಾ ಘೋಷ್ಯಮಾಣಃ ಸುಸಂವಾದಸ್ತತ್ರತ್ಯೇಭ್ಯೋ ಲೋಕೇಭ್ಯೋ ವಿಶೇಷತೋ ಮಾನ್ಯೇಭ್ಯೋ ನರೇಭ್ಯೋ ಮಯಾ ನ್ಯವೇದ್ಯತ|
3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
ತತೋ ಮಮ ಸಹಚರಸ್ತೀತೋ ಯದ್ಯಪಿ ಯೂನಾನೀಯ ಆಸೀತ್ ತಥಾಪಿ ತಸ್ಯ ತ್ವಕ್ಛೇದೋಽಪ್ಯಾವಶ್ಯಕೋ ನ ಬಭೂವ|
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privately to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
ಯತಶ್ಛಲೇನಾಗತಾ ಅಸ್ಮಾನ್ ದಾಸಾನ್ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಇಚ್ಛವಃ ಕತಿಪಯಾ ಭಾಕ್ತಭ್ರಾತರಃ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೇನ ಯೀಶುನಾಸ್ಮಭ್ಯಂ ದತ್ತಂ ಸ್ವಾತನ್ತ್ರ್ಯಮ್ ಅನುಸನ್ಧಾತುಂ ಚಾರಾ ಇವ ಸಮಾಜಂ ಪ್ರಾವಿಶನ್|
5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
ಅತಃ ಪ್ರಕೃತೇ ಸುಸಂವಾದೇ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಮ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರೋ ಯತ್ ತಿಷ್ಠೇತ್ ತದರ್ಥಂ ವಯಂ ದಣ್ಡೈಕಮಪಿ ಯಾವದ್ ಆಜ್ಞಾಗ್ರಹಣೇನ ತೇಷಾಂ ವಶ್ಯಾ ನಾಭವಾಮ|
6 But of these, who seemed to be somewhat, (whatever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person: ) for they who seemed [to be somewhat], in conference added nothing to me:
ಪರನ್ತು ಯೇ ಲೋಕಾ ಮಾನ್ಯಾಸ್ತೇ ಯೇ ಕೇಚಿದ್ ಭವೇಯುಸ್ತಾನಹಂ ನ ಗಣಯಾಮಿ ಯತ ಈಶ್ವರಃ ಕಸ್ಯಾಪಿ ಮಾನವಸ್ಯ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಂ ನ ಕರೋತಿ, ಯೇ ಚ ಮಾನ್ಯಾಸ್ತೇ ಮಾಂ ಕಿಮಪಿ ನವೀನಂ ನಾಜ್ಞಾಪಯನ್|
7 But on the contrary, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed to me, as [the gospel] of the circumcision [was] to Peter;
ಕಿನ್ತು ಛಿನ್ನತ್ವಚಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಸುಸಂವಾದಪ್ರಚಾರಣಸ್ಯ ಭಾರಃ ಪಿತರಿ ಯಥಾ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತಸ್ತಥೈವಾಚ್ಛಿನ್ನತ್ವಚಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಸುಸಂವಾದಪ್ರಚಾರಣಸ್ಯ ಭಾರೋ ಮಯಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಇತಿ ತೈ ರ್ಬುಬುಧೇ|
8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me towards the Gentiles: )
ಯತಶ್ಛಿನ್ನತ್ವಚಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಪ್ರೇರಿತತ್ವಕರ್ಮ್ಮಣೇ ಯಸ್ಯ ಯಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಃ ಪಿತರಮಾಶ್ರಿತವತೀ ತಸ್ಯೈವ ಸಾ ಶಕ್ತಿ ರ್ಭಿನ್ನಜಾತೀಯಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ತಸ್ಮೈ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಣೇ ಮಾಮಪ್ಯಾಶ್ರಿತವತೀ|
9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we [should go] to the heathen, and they to the circumcision.
ಅತೋ ಮಹ್ಯಂ ದತ್ತಮ್ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಂ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಸ್ತಮ್ಭಾ ಇವ ಗಣಿತಾ ಯೇ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ ಕೈಫಾ ಯೋಹನ್ ಚೈತೇ ಸಹಾಯತಾಸೂಚಕಂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಹಸ್ತಗ್ರಹಂಣ ವಿಧಾಯ ಮಾಂ ಬರ್ಣಬ್ಬಾಞ್ಚ ಜಗದುಃ, ಯುವಾಂ ಭಿನ್ನಜಾತೀಯಾನಾಂ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಂ ಗಚ್ಛತಂ ವಯಂ ಛಿನ್ನತ್ವಚಾ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಂ ಗಚ್ಛಾಮಃ,
10 Only [they would] that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
ಕೇವಲಂ ದರಿದ್ರಾ ಯುವಾಭ್ಯಾಂ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯಾ ಇತಿ| ಅತಸ್ತದೇವ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಅಹಂ ಯತೇ ಸ್ಮ|
11 But when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
ಅಪರಮ್ ಆನ್ತಿಯಖಿಯಾನಗರಂ ಪಿತರ ಆಗತೇಽಹಂ ತಸ್ಯ ದೋಷಿತ್ವಾತ್ ಸಮಕ್ಷಂ ತಮ್ ಅಭರ್ತ್ಸಯಂ|
12 For before that certain came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles: but when they had come, he withdrew, and separated himself, fearing them who were of the circumcision.
ಯತಃ ಸ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಮ್ ಅನ್ಯಜಾತೀಯೈಃ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಮ್ ಆಹಾರಮಕರೋತ್ ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಯಾಕೂಬಃ ಸಮೀಪಾತ್ ಕತಿಪಯಜನೇಷ್ವಾಗತೇಷು ಸ ಛಿನ್ನತ್ವಙ್ಮನುಷ್ಯೇಭ್ಯೋ ಭಯೇನ ನಿವೃತ್ಯ ಪೃಥಗ್ ಅಭವತ್|
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; so that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
ತತೋಽಪರೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ಯಿಹೂದಿನೋಽಪಿ ತೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಕಪಟಾಚಾರಮ್ ಅಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ ಬರ್ಣಬ್ಬಾ ಅಪಿ ತೇಷಾಂ ಕಾಪಟ್ಯೇನ ವಿಪಥಗಾಮ್ಯಭವತ್|
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before [them] all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
ತತಸ್ತೇ ಪ್ರಕೃತಸುಸಂವಾದರೂಪೇ ಸರಲಪಥೇ ನ ಚರನ್ತೀತಿ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾಹಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇಷಾಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಪಿತರಮ್ ಉಕ್ತವಾನ್ ತ್ವಂ ಯಿಹೂದೀ ಸನ್ ಯದಿ ಯಿಹೂದಿಮತಂ ವಿಹಾಯ ಭಿನ್ನಜಾತೀಯ ಇವಾಚರಸಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಯಿಹೂದಿಮತಾಚರಣಾಯ ಭಿನ್ನಜಾತೀಯಾನ್ ಕುತಃ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ತಯಸಿ?
15 We [who are] Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
ಆವಾಂ ಜನ್ಮನಾ ಯಿಹೂದಿನೌ ಭವಾವೋ ಭಿನ್ನಜಾತೀಯೌ ಪಾಪಿನೌ ನ ಭವಾವಃ
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
ಕಿನ್ತು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಾಲನೇನ ಮನುಷ್ಯಃ ಸಪುಣ್ಯೋ ನ ಭವತಿ ಕೇವಲಂ ಯೀಶೌ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೇ ಯೋ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಸ್ತೇನೈವ ಸಪುಣ್ಯೋ ಭವತೀತಿ ಬುದ್ಧ್ವಾವಾಮಪಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಾಲನಂ ವಿನಾ ಕೇವಲಂ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೇ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸೇನ ಪುಣ್ಯಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಯೇ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೇ ಯೀಶೌ ವ್ಯಶ್ವಸಿವ ಯತೋ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಾಲನೇನ ಕೋಽಪಿ ಮಾನವಃ ಪುಣ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, [is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? By no means.
ಪರನ್ತು ಯೀಶುನಾ ಪುಣ್ಯಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಯೇ ಯತಮಾನಾವಪ್ಯಾವಾಂ ಯದಿ ಪಾಪಿನೌ ಭವಾವಸ್ತರ್ಹಿ ಕಿಂ ವಕ್ತವ್ಯಂ? ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಃ ಪಾಪಸ್ಯ ಪರಿಚಾರಕ ಇತಿ? ತನ್ನ ಭವತು|
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
ಮಯಾ ಯದ್ ಭಗ್ನಂ ತದ್ ಯದಿ ಮಯಾ ಪುನರ್ನಿರ್ಮ್ಮೀಯತೇ ತರ್ಹಿ ಮಯೈವಾತ್ಮದೋಷಃ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ಯತೇ|
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I may live to God.
ಅಹಂ ಯದ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾಯ ಜೀವಾಮಿ ತದರ್ಥಂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಯಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಯೈ ಅಮ್ರಿಯೇ|
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಕ್ರುಶೇ ಹತೋಽಸ್ಮಿ ತಥಾಪಿ ಜೀವಾಮಿ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಹಂ ಜೀವಾಮೀತಿ ನಹಿ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟ ಏವ ಮದನ್ತ ರ್ಜೀವತಿ| ಸಾಮ್ಪ್ರತಂ ಸಶರೀರೇಣ ಮಯಾ ಯಜ್ಜೀವಿತಂ ಧಾರ್ಯ್ಯತೇ ತತ್ ಮಮ ದಯಾಕಾರಿಣಿ ಮದರ್ಥಂ ಸ್ವೀಯಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗಿನಿ ಚೇಶ್ವರಪುತ್ರೇ ವಿಶ್ವಸತಾ ಮಯಾ ಧಾರ್ಯ್ಯತೇ|
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness is [attainable] by the law, then Christ hath died in vain.
ಅಹಮೀಶ್ವರಸ್ಯಾನುಗ್ರಹಂ ನಾವಜಾನಾಮಿ ಯಸ್ಮಾದ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಯಾ ಯದಿ ಪುಣ್ಯಂ ಭವತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೋ ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಮ್ರಿಯತ|
