Acts 18
1 After these things, Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
ତଦ୍ଘଟନାତଃ ପରଂ ପୌଲ ଆଥୀନୀନଗରାଦ୍ ଯାତ୍ରାଂ କୃତ୍ୱା କରିନ୍ଥନଗରମ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛତ୍|
2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome) and [he] came to them.
ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସମଯେ କ୍ଲୌଦିଯଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନ୍ ରୋମାନଗରଂ ୱିହାଯ ଗନ୍ତୁମ୍ ଆଜ୍ଞାପଯତ୍, ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ପ୍ରିସ୍କିଲ୍ଲାନାମ୍ନା ଜାଯଯା ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଇତାଲିଯାଦେଶାତ୍ କିଞ୍ଚିତ୍ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱମ୍ ଆଗମତ୍ ଯଃ ପନ୍ତଦେଶେ ଜାତ ଆକ୍କିଲନାମା ଯିହୂଦୀଯଲୋକଃ ପୌଲସ୍ତଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ତଯୋଃ ସମୀପମିତୱାନ୍|
3 And because he was of the same occupation, he abode with them, and wrought (for by their occupation they were tent-makers)
ତୌ ଦୂଷ୍ୟନିର୍ମ୍ମାଣଜୀୱିନୌ, ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ପରସ୍ପରମ୍ ଏକୱୃତ୍ତିକତ୍ୱାତ୍ ସ ତାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସହ ଉଷିତ୍ୱା ତତ୍ କର୍ମ୍ମାକରୋତ୍|
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
ପୌଲଃ ପ୍ରତିୱିଶ୍ରାମୱାରଂ ଭଜନଭୱନଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ୱିଚାରଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନ୍ ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀଯାଂଶ୍ଚ ପ୍ରୱୃତ୍ତିଂ ଗ୍ରାହିତୱାନ୍|
5 And when Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in spirit, and testified to the Jews, [that] Jesus [was] Christ.
ସୀଲତୀମଥିଯଯୋ ର୍ମାକିଦନିଯାଦେଶାତ୍ ସମେତଯୋଃ ସତୋଃ ପୌଲ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତମନା ଭୂତ୍ୱା ଯୀଶୁରୀଶ୍ୱରେଣାଭିଷିକ୍ତୋ ଭୱତୀତି ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ସମୀପେ ପ୍ରାଦାତ୍|
6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook [his] raiment, and said to them, Your blood [be] upon your own heads: I [am] clean: from henceforth I will go to the Gentiles.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତେ ଽତୀୱ ୱିରୋଧଂ ୱିଧାଯ ପାଷଣ୍ଡୀଯକଥାଂ କଥିତୱନ୍ତସ୍ତତଃ ପୌଲୋ ୱସ୍ତ୍ରଂ ଧୁନ୍ୱନ୍ ଏତାଂ କଥାଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍, ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଶୋଣିତପାତାପରାଧୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେୱ ଭୱତୁ, ତେନାହଂ ନିରପରାଧୋ ଽଦ୍ୟାରଭ୍ୟ ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯାନାଂ ସମୀପଂ ଯାମି|
7 And he departed thence, and entered into the house of a certain man named Justus, [one] that worshiped God, whose house joined close to the synagogue.
ସ ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାଯ ଭଜନଭୱନସମୀପସ୍ଥସ୍ୟ ଯୁସ୍ତନାମ୍ନ ଈଶ୍ୱରଭକ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯସ୍ୟ ନିୱେଶନଂ ପ୍ରାୱିଶତ୍|
8 And Crispus the chief ruler of the synagogue believed on the Lord with all his house: and many of the Corinthians hearing, believed, and were baptized.
ତତଃ କ୍ରୀଷ୍ପନାମା ଭଜନଭୱନାଧିପତିଃ ସପରିୱାରଃ ପ୍ରଭୌ ୱ୍ୟଶ୍ୱସୀତ୍, କରିନ୍ଥନଗରୀଯା ବହୱୋ ଲୋକାଶ୍ଚ ସମାକର୍ଣ୍ୟ ୱିଶ୍ୱସ୍ୟ ମଜ୍ଜିତା ଅଭୱନ୍|
9 Then the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
କ୍ଷଣଦାଯାଂ ପ୍ରଭୁଃ ପୌଲଂ ଦର୍ଶନଂ ଦତ୍ୱା ଭାଷିତୱାନ୍, ମା ଭୈଷୀଃ, ମା ନିରସୀଃ କଥାଂ ପ୍ରଚାରଯ|
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall lay hands on thee, to hurt thee: for I have many people in this city.
ଅହଂ ତ୍ୱଯା ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଆସ ହିଂସାର୍ଥଂ କୋପି ତ୍ୱାଂ ସ୍ପ୍ରଷ୍ଟୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି ନଗରେଽସ୍ମିନ୍ ମଦୀଯା ଲୋକା ବହୱ ଆସତେ|
11 And he continued [there] a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ପୌଲସ୍ତନ୍ନଗରେ ପ୍ରାଯେଣ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧୱତ୍ସରପର୍ୟ୍ୟନ୍ତଂ ସଂସ୍ଥାଯେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ କଥାମ୍ ଉପାଦିଶତ୍|
12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment-seat,
ଗାଲ୍ଲିଯନାମା କଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଆଖାଯାଦେଶସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଡ୍ୱିୱାକଃ ସମଭୱତ୍, ତତୋ ଯିହୂଦୀଯା ଏକୱାକ୍ୟାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ ପୌଲମ୍ ଆକ୍ରମ୍ୟ ୱିଚାରସ୍ଥାନଂ ନୀତ୍ୱା
13 Saying, This [man] persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
ମାନୁଷ ଏଷ ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଯ ୱିରୁଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରଭଜନଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ଲୋକାନ୍ କୁପ୍ରୱୃତ୍ତିଂ ଗ୍ରାହଯତୀତି ନିୱେଦିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
14 And when Paul was now about to open [his] mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong, or hainous crime, O [ye] Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:
ତତଃ ପୌଲେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁତ୍ତରଂ ଦାତୁମ୍ ଉଦ୍ୟତେ ସତି ଗାଲ୍ଲିଯା ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନ୍ ୱ୍ୟାହରତ୍, ଯଦି କସ୍ୟଚିଦ୍ ଅନ୍ୟାଯସ୍ୟ ୱାତିଶଯଦୁଷ୍ଟତାଚରଣସ୍ୟ ୱିଚାରୋଽଭୱିଷ୍ୟତ୍ ତର୍ହି ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କଥା ମଯା ସହନୀଯାଭୱିଷ୍ୟତ୍|
15 But if it is a question of words and names, and [of] your law, look ye [to it]: for I will be no judge of such [matters].
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି କେୱଲଂ କଥାଯା ୱା ନାମ୍ନୋ ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଯା ୱିୱାଦୋ ଭୱତି ତର୍ହି ତସ୍ୟ ୱିଚାରମହଂ ନ କରିଷ୍ୟାମି, ଯୂଯଂ ତସ୍ୟ ମୀମାଂସାଂ କୁରୁତ|
16 And he drove them from the judgment-seat.
ତତଃ ସ ତାନ୍ ୱିଚାରସ୍ଥାନାଦ୍ ଦୂରୀକୃତୱାନ୍|
17 Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat [him] before the judgment-seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.
ତଦା ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯାଃ ସୋସ୍ଥିନିନାମାନଂ ଭଜନଭୱନସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଧାନାଧିପତିଂ ଧୃତ୍ୱା ୱିଚାରସ୍ଥାନସ୍ୟ ସମ୍ମୁଖେ ପ୍ରାହରନ୍ ତଥାପି ଗାଲ୍ଲିଯା ତେଷୁ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱକର୍ମ୍ମସୁ ନ ମନୋ ନ୍ୟଦଧାତ୍|
18 And Paul [after this] tarried [there] yet a good while, and took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn [his] head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.
ପୌଲସ୍ତତ୍ର ପୁନର୍ବହୁଦିନାନି ନ୍ୟୱସତ୍, ତତୋ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣାଦ୍ ୱିସର୍ଜନଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ କିଞ୍ଚନୱ୍ରତନିମିତ୍ତଂ କିଂକ୍ରିଯାନଗରେ ଶିରୋ ମୁଣ୍ଡଯିତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରିସ୍କିଲ୍ଲାକ୍କିଲାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସହିତୋ ଜଲପଥେନ ସୁରିଯାଦେଶଂ ଗତୱାନ୍|
19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.
ତତ ଇଫିଷନଗର ଉପସ୍ଥାଯ ତତ୍ର ତୌ ୱିସୃଜ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ଭଜନଭ୍ୱନଂ ପ୍ରୱିଶ୍ୟ ଯିହୂଦୀଯୈଃ ସହ ୱିଚାରିତୱାନ୍|
20 When they desired [him] to tarry longer time with them, he consented not:
ତେ ସ୍ୱୈଃ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ପୁନଃ କତିପଯଦିନାନି ସ୍ଥାତୁଂ ତଂ ୱ୍ୟନଯନ୍, ସ ତଦନୁରରୀକୃତ୍ୟ କଥାମେତାଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍,
21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return to you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
ଯିରୂଶାଲମି ଆଗାମ୍ୟୁତ୍ସୱପାଲନାର୍ଥଂ ମଯା ଗମନୀଯଂ; ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରେଚ୍ଛାଯାଂ ଜାତାଯାଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ସମୀପଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଗମିଷ୍ୟାମି| ତତଃ ପରଂ ସ ତୈ ର୍ୱିସୃଷ୍ଟଃ ସନ୍ ଜଲପଥେନ ଇଫିଷନଗରାତ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥିତୱାନ୍|
22 And when he had landed at Cesarea, and gone up and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.
ତତଃ କୈସରିଯାମ୍ ଉପସ୍ଥିତଃ ସନ୍ ନଗରଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ସମାଜଂ ନମସ୍କୃତ୍ୟ ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଆନ୍ତିଯଖିଯାନଗରଂ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥିତୱାନ୍|
23 And after he had spent some time [there], he departed and went over [all] the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
ତତ୍ର କିଯତ୍କାଲଂ ଯାପଯିତ୍ୱା ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାଯ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷାଂ ଶିଷ୍ୟାଣାଂ ମନାଂସି ସୁସ୍ଥିରାଣି କୃତ୍ୱା କ୍ରମଶୋ ଗଲାତିଯାଫ୍ରୁଗିଯାଦେଶଯୋ ର୍ଭ୍ରମିତ୍ୱା ଗତୱାନ୍|
24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, [and] mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
ତସ୍ମିନ୍ନେୱ ସମଯେ ସିକନ୍ଦରିଯାନଗରେ ଜାତ ଆପଲ୍ଲୋନାମା ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୱିତ୍ ସୁୱକ୍ତା ଯିହୂଦୀଯ ଏକୋ ଜନ ଇଫିଷନଗରମ୍ ଆଗତୱାନ୍|
25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord: and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
ସ ଶିକ୍ଷିତପ୍ରଭୁମାର୍ଗୋ ମନସୋଦ୍ୟୋଗୀ ଚ ସନ୍ ଯୋହନୋ ମଜ୍ଜନମାତ୍ରଂ ଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱା ଯଥାର୍ଥତଯା ପ୍ରଭୋଃ କଥାଂ କଥଯନ୍ ସମୁପାଦିଶତ୍|
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: Whom, when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him to [them], and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly.
ଏଷ ଜନୋ ନିର୍ଭଯତ୍ୱେନ ଭଜନଭୱନେ କଥଯିତୁମ୍ ଆରବ୍ଧୱାନ୍, ତତଃ ପ୍ରିସ୍କିଲ୍ଲାକ୍କିଲୌ ତସ୍ୟୋପଦେଶକଥାଂ ନିଶମ୍ୟ ତଂ ସ୍ୱଯୋଃ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆନୀଯ ଶୁଦ୍ଧରୂପେଣେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ କଥାମ୍ ଅବୋଧଯତାମ୍|
27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he had come, helped them much who had believed through grace.
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ସ ଆଖାଯାଦେଶଂ ଗନ୍ତୁଂ ମତିଂ କୃତୱାନ୍, ତଦା ତତ୍ରତ୍ୟଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟଗଣୋ ଯଥା ତଂ ଗୃହ୍ଲାତି ତଦର୍ଥଂ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣେନ ସମାଶ୍ୱସ୍ୟ ପତ୍ରେ ଲିଖିତେ ସତି, ଆପଲ୍ଲାସ୍ତତ୍ରୋପସ୍ଥିତଃ ସନ୍ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହେଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯିନାଂ ବହୂପକାରାନ୍ ଅକରୋତ୍,
28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, [and that] publicly, showing by the scriptures, that Jesus was Christ.
ଫଲତୋ ଯୀଶୁରଭିଷିକ୍ତସ୍ତ୍ରାତେତି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଦତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରକାଶରୂପେଣ ପ୍ରତିପନ୍ନଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନ୍ ନିରୁତ୍ତରାନ୍ କୃତୱାନ୍|
