< Romans 14 >

1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
Ẹ gba ẹni tí ó bá ṣe àìlera ní ìgbàgbọ́ mọ́ra, kí ẹ má ṣe tọpinpin ìṣeyèméjì rẹ̀.
2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
Ẹnìkan gbàgbọ́ pé òun lè máa jẹ ohun gbogbo: ṣùgbọ́n ẹlòmíràn tí ó sì jẹ́ aláìlera ní ìgbàgbọ́ ń jẹ ewébẹ̀ nìkan.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him who eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Kí ẹni tí ń jẹ ohun gbogbo má ṣe kẹ́gàn ẹni tí kò jẹ; kí ẹni tí kò sì jẹ ohun gbogbo kí ó má ṣe dá ẹni tí ń jẹ lẹ́bi nítorí Ọlọ́run ti gbà á.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. And, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.
Ta ni ìwọ láti dá ọmọ ọ̀dọ̀ ẹlòmíràn lẹ́jọ́? Lójú olúwa tirẹ̀ ni òun dúró, tàbí ṣubú. Òun yóò sì dúró nítorí Ọlọ́run ní agbára láti mú kí òun dúró.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Ẹnìkan bu ọlá fún ọjọ́ kan ju òmíràn; ẹlòmíràn bu ọlá fún ọjọ́ gbogbo bákan náà. Kí olúkúlùkù kí ó dá ara rẹ̀ lójú ní inú ara rẹ̀.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it to the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Ẹni tí ó bá ya ọjọ́ kan sí ọ̀tọ̀, ó ń yà á sọ́tọ̀ fún Olúwa. Ẹni tí ó ń jẹ ẹran, ó ń jẹ ẹran fún Olúwa, nítorí pé òun náà dúpẹ́ lọ́wọ́ Ọlọ́run; ẹni tí kò bá sì jẹ ẹran, kò jẹ ẹran fún Olúwa, òun náà dúpẹ́ lọ́wọ́ Ọlọ́run.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
Nítorí kò sí ẹnìkan tí ó wà láààyè fún ara rẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kò sí ẹni tí ó kú fún ara rẹ̀.
8 For whether we live, we live to the Lord; and whether we die, we die to the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
Bí a bá wà láààyè, a wà láààyè fún Olúwa; bí a bá sì kú, a kú fún Olúwa. Nítorí náà, bí a wà láààyè, tàbí bí a kú, ti Olúwa ni àwa i ṣe.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the living.
Nítorí ìdí èyí náà ni Kristi ṣe kú, tí ó sì tún yè, kí ó bá le jẹ́ Olúwa òkú àti alààyè.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou show contempt for thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
A ti kọ ìwé rẹ̀ pé: “‘Níwọ́n ìgbà tí mo wà láààyè,’ ni Olúwa wí, ‘gbogbo eékún ni yóò wólẹ̀ fún mi; gbogbo ahọ́n ni yóò jẹ́wọ́ fún Ọlọ́run.’”
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Ǹjẹ́ nítorí náà, olúkúlùkù wa ni yóò jíyìn ara rẹ̀ fún Ọlọ́run.
13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
Nítorí náà, ẹ má ṣe tún jẹ́ kí a máa dá ara wa lẹ́jọ́ mọ́. Ṣùgbọ́n dípò bẹ́ẹ̀, ẹ pinu nínú ọkàn yín láti má ṣe fi ohun ìkọ̀sẹ̀ tàbí òkúta ìdìgbòlù kankan sí ọ̀nà arákùnrin tàbí arábìnrin yín.
14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean by itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
Mo mọ̀ dájú gbangba bí ẹni tí ó wà nínú Jesu Olúwa pé, kò sí ohun tó ṣe àìmọ́ fún ara rẹ̀. Ṣùgbọ́n ẹni tí ó bá ka ohunkóhun sí àìmọ́, òun ni ó ṣe àìmọ́ fún.
15 But if thy brother is grieved with thy food, now walkest thou not in love. Destroy not him with thy food, for whom Christ died.
Bí inú arákùnrin tàbí arábìnrin rẹ ba bàjẹ́ nítorí oúnjẹ rẹ, ìwọ kò rìn nínú ìfẹ́ mọ́. Má ṣe fi oúnjẹ rẹ sọ ẹni tí Kristi kú fún di ẹni ègbé.
16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
Nítorí náà, ẹ má ṣe jẹ́ kí a máa sọ̀rọ̀ ohun tí ẹ mọ̀ sí rere ní búburú.
17 For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Nítorí ìjọba ọ̀run kì í ṣe jíjẹ àti mímu, bí kò ṣe nípa ti òdodo, àlàáfíà àti ayọ̀ nínú Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́,
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved by men.
nítorí ẹni tí ó bá sin Kristi nínú nǹkan wọ̀nyí ni ó ṣe ìtẹ́wọ́gbà lọ́dọ̀ Ọlọ́run, tí ó sì ní ìyìn lọ́dọ̀ ènìyàn.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things which one may edify another.
Nítorí náà, ẹ jẹ́ kí a ṣa gbogbo ipá wa láti máa lépa àlàáfíà, àti ohun tí àwa yóò fi gbé ara wa ró.
20 For the sake of food destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
Má ṣe bi iṣẹ́ Ọlọ́run ṣubú nítorí oúnjẹ. Gbogbo oúnjẹ ni ó mọ́, ṣùgbọ́n ohun búburú ni fún ẹni náà tí ó jẹ ohunkóhun tí ó le mú ẹlòmíràn kọsẹ̀.
21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing by which thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Ó dára kí a má tilẹ̀ jẹ ẹran tàbí mu wáìnì tàbí ṣe ohunkóhun tí yóò mú arákùnrin tàbí arábìnrin rẹ ṣubú.
22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in what he approveth.
Nítorí náà, ohun tí ìwọ bá gbàgbọ́ nípa gbogbo nǹkan wọ̀nyí, pa á mọ́ ní àárín ìwọ àti Ọlọ́run. Alábùkún fún ni ẹni náà tí kò dá ara rẹ̀ lẹ́bi nínú ohun tí ó yàn.
23 And he that doubteth is condemned if he eateth, because he eateth not from faith: for whatever is not from faith is sin.
Ṣùgbọ́n ẹni tí ó ṣe iyèméjì, ó jẹ̀bi bí ó ba jẹ ẹ́, nítorí jíjẹ ẹ́ rẹ̀ kò ti inú ìgbàgbọ́ wá; bẹ́ẹ̀ sì ni, ohun gbogbo tí kò bá ti inú ìgbàgbọ́ wá, ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ni.
