Revelation 1
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John:
ਯਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤੰ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਸ੍ਵਦਾਸਾਨਾਂ ਨਿਕਟੰ ਸ਼ੀਘ੍ਰਮੁਪਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਨ੍ਤੀਨਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਨਾਂ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਨਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਤ੍ ਸ ਸ੍ਵੀਯਦੂਤੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼੍ਯ ਨਿਜਸੇਵਕੰ ਯੋਹਨੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
2 Who bore witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
ਸ ਚੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੇ ਚ ਯਦ੍ਯਦ੍ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍|
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it: for the time is at hand.
ਏਤਸ੍ਯ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਕ੍ਤ੍ਰੁʼਗ੍ਰਨ੍ਥਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਾਨਾਂ ਪਾਠਕਃ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਤਾਰਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਨ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਲਿਖਿਤਾਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਣਸ਼੍ਚ ਧਨ੍ਯਾ ਯਤਃ ਸ ਕਾਲਃ ਸੰਨਿਕਟਃ|
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;
ਯੋਹਨ੍ ਆਸ਼ਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਥਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਸਮਿਤੀਃ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪਤ੍ਰੰ ਲਿਖਤਿ| ਯੋ ਵਰ੍ੱਤਮਾਨੋ ਭੂਤੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੰਸ਼੍ਚ ਯੇ ਚ ਸਪ੍ਤਾਤ੍ਮਾਨਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਿੰਹਾਸਨਸ੍ਯ ਸੰਮੁਖੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ਤਿ
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
ਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੋ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸ੍ਤਃ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਮਜਾਤੋ ਭੂਮਣ੍ਡਲਸ੍ਥਰਾਜਾਨਾਮ੍ ਅਧਿਪਤਿਸ਼੍ਚ ਭਵਤਿ, ਏਤੇਭ੍ਯੋ (ਅ)ਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਃ ਸ਼ਾਨ੍ਤਿਸ਼੍ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਵਰ੍ੱਤਤਾਂ|
6 And hath made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
ਯੋ (ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਰੁਧਿਰੇਣਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਪਾਪੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਪ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਲਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਿਤੁਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਯਾਜਕਾਨ੍ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਰਾਜਵਰ੍ਗੇ ਨਿਯੁਕ੍ਤਵਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮਸ਼੍ਚਾਨਨ੍ਤਕਾਲੰ ਯਾਵਦ੍ ਵਰ੍ੱਤਤਾਂ| ਆਮੇਨ੍| (aiōn g165)
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also who pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ ਸ ਮੇਘੈਰਾਗੱਛਤਿ ਤੇਨੈਕੈਕਸ੍ਯ ਚਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੁਸ੍ਤੰ ਦ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਯੇ ਚ ਤੰ ਵਿੱਧਵਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤੇ (ਅ)ਪਿ ਤੰ ਵਿਲੋਕਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵੀਸ੍ਥਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਵੰਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਲਪਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ| ਸਤ੍ਯਮ੍ ਆਮੇਨ੍|
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
ਵਰ੍ੱਤਮਾਨੋ ਭੂਤੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੰਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਿਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਃ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਸ ਗਦਤਿ, ਅਹਮੇਵ ਕਃ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਸ਼੍ਚਾਰ੍ਥਤ ਆਦਿਰਨ੍ਤਸ਼੍ਚ|
9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਲੇਸ਼ਰਾਜ੍ਯਤਿਤਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਣਾਂ ਸਹਭਾਗੀ ਚਾਹੰ ਯੋਹਨ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਹੇਤੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਹੇਤੋਸ਼੍ਚ ਪਾਤ੍ਮਨਾਮਕ ਉਪਦ੍ਵੀਪ ਆਸੰ|
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
ਤਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਦਿਨੇ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਾਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਟੋ (ਅ)ਹੰ ਸ੍ਵਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਤੂਰੀਧ੍ਵਨਿਵਤ੍ ਮਹਾਰਵਮ੍ ਅਸ਼੍ਰੌਸ਼਼ੰ,
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.
ਤੇਨੋਕ੍ਤਮ੍, ਅਹੰ ਕਃ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਸ਼੍ਚਾਰ੍ਥਤ ਆਦਿਰਨ੍ਤਸ਼੍ਚ| ਤ੍ਵੰ ਯਦ੍ ਦ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਸਿ ਤਦ੍ ਗ੍ਰਨ੍ਥੇ ਲਿਖਿਤ੍ਵਾਸ਼ਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਂ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਸਮਿਤੀਨਾਂ ਸਮੀਪਮ੍ ਇਫਿਸ਼਼ੰ ਸ੍ਮੁਰ੍ਣਾਂ ਥੁਯਾਤੀਰਾਂ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਦਿੰ ਫਿਲਾਦਿਲ੍ਫਿਯਾਂ ਲਾਯਦੀਕੇਯਾਞ੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯ|
12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands;
ਤਤੋ ਮਯਾ ਸਮ੍ਭਾਸ਼਼ਮਾਣਸ੍ਯ ਕਸ੍ਯ ਰਵਃ ਸ਼੍ਰੂਯਤੇ ਤੱਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਨਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਮੁਖੰ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਤੰ ਤਤ੍ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ਤ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਣਮਯਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਦੀਪਵ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਃ|
13 And in the midst of the seven lampstands one like the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the breasts with a golden band.
ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਦੀਪਵ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਣਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਦੀਰ੍ਘਪਰਿੱਛਦਪਰਿਹਿਤਃ ਸੁਵਰ੍ਣਸ਼੍ਰੁʼਙ੍ਖਲੇਨ ਵੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਿਤਵਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਸ਼੍ਚ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਪੁਤ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਿਰੇਕੋ ਜਨਸ੍ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ,
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਿਰਃ ਕੇਸ਼ਸ਼੍ਚ ਸ਼੍ਵੇਤਮੇਸ਼਼ਲੋਮਾਨੀਵ ਹਿਮਵਤ੍ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਤੌ ਲੋਚਨੇ ਵਹ੍ਨਿਸ਼ਿਖਾਸਮੇ
15 And his feet like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
ਚਰਣੌ ਵਹ੍ਨਿਕੁਣ੍ਡੇਤਾਪਿਤਸੁਪਿੱਤਲਸਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੌ ਰਵਸ਼੍ਚ ਬਹੁਤੋਯਾਨਾਂ ਰਵਤੁਲ੍ਯਃ|
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
ਤਸ੍ਯ ਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਹਸ੍ਤੇ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਤਾਰਾ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਵਕ੍ਤ੍ਰਾੱਚ ਤੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਣੋ ਦ੍ਵਿਧਾਰਃ ਖਙ੍ਗੋ ਨਿਰ੍ਗੱਛਤਿ ਮੁਖਮਣ੍ਡਲਞ੍ਚ ਸ੍ਵਤੇਜਸਾ ਦੇਦੀਪ੍ਯਮਾਨਸ੍ਯ ਸੂਰ੍ੱਯਸ੍ਯ ਸਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ|
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
ਤੰ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾਹੰ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਕਲ੍ਪਸ੍ਤੱਚਰਣੇ ਪਤਿਤਸ੍ਤਤਃ ਸ੍ਵਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਕਰੰ ਮਯਿ ਨਿਧਾਯ ਤੇਨੋਕ੍ਤਮ੍ ਮਾ ਭੈਸ਼਼ੀਃ; ਅਹਮ੍ ਆਦਿਰਨ੍ਤਸ਼੍ਚ|
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be after this;
ਅਤੋ ਯਦ੍ ਭਵਤਿ ਯੱਚੇਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟੰ ਤਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਲਿਖ੍ਯਤਾਂ|
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven lampstands which thou sawest are the seven churches.
ਮਮ ਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਹਸ੍ਤੇ ਸ੍ਥਿਤਾ ਯਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਤਾਰਾ ਯੇ ਚ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਣਮਯਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਦੀਪਵ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਸ੍ਤੱਤਾਤ੍ਪਰ੍ੱਯਮਿਦੰ ਤਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਤਾਰਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਸਮਿਤੀਨਾਂ ਦੂਤਾਃ ਸੁਵਰ੍ਣਮਯਾਃ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਦੀਪਵ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਪ੍ਤ ਸਮਿਤਯਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਿ|
