Psalms 99

1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he setteth between the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

Yahweh reina! Que os povos tremam. Ele se senta entronizado entre os querubins. Que a terra seja movida.

2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all people.

Yahweh é ótimo em Zion. Ele é alto acima de todos os povos.

3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

Let eles elogiam seu grande e impressionante nome. Ele é santo!

4 The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

A força do Rei também ama a justiça. Você estabelece a equidade. Você executa justiça e retidão em Jacob.

5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

Exalt Yahweh, nosso Deus. Adoração aos pés do escabelo. Ele é santo!

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

Moisés e Aarão estavam entre seus sacerdotes, Samuel estava entre aqueles que invocam seu nome. Eles chamaram Yahweh e ele lhes respondeu.

7 He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

Ele falou com eles no pilar da nuvem. Eles guardaram seus depoimentos, o estatuto que ele lhes deu.

8 Thou didst answer them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance on their evil deeds.

9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
