Psalms 89
1 Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
१एथानाचे स्तोत्र मी परमेश्वराच्या विश्वासाच्या कराराच्या कृतीचे गीत सर्वकाळ गाईन. मी तुझी सत्यता भावी पिढ्यांना जाहीर करीन.
2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
२कारण मी म्हणालो आहे की, विश्वासाचा करार सर्वकाळासाठी स्थापित होईल; तुझी सत्यता स्वर्गात तूच स्थापन केली आहेस.
3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn to David my servant,
३मी माझ्या निवडलेल्याशी करार केला आहे, मी आपला सेवक दावीद ह्याच्याशी शपथ वाहिली आहे.
4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. (Selah)
४मी तुझ्या वंशाजांची स्थापना सर्वकाळ करीन, आणि तुझे राजासन सर्व पिढ्यांसाठी स्थापिन.
5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
५हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या विस्मयकारक कृतीची स्तुती आकाश करील, तुझ्या सत्यतेची स्तुती पवित्रजनांच्या मंडळीत होईल.
6 For who in the heaven can be compared to the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD?
६कारण परमेश्वराशी तुलना होऊ शकेल असा आकाशात कोण आहे? देवाच्या मुलांपैकी परमेश्वरासारखा कोण आहे?
7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence by all them that are about him.
७पवित्र जनांच्या सभेत ज्याचा सन्मान होतो असा तो देव आहे; आणि त्याच्या सभोवती असणाऱ्या सर्वांपेक्षा तो भितीदायक आहे.
8 O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like thee? or to thy faithfulness around thee?
८हे सेनाधीश देवा, परमेश्वरा, हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्यासारखा कोण समर्थ आहे? तुझी सत्यता तुझ्याभोवती आहे?
9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them.
९समुद्राच्या खवळण्यावर तू अधिकार चालवतोस; जेव्हा त्याच्या लाटा उसळतात, तेव्हा तू त्यांना शांत करतोस.
10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thy enemies with thy strong arm.
१०तू राहाबाला ठेचून त्याचा चुराडा केलास. तू तुझ्या बलवान बाहूंनी आपल्या शत्रूंना पांगवलेस.
11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and all it containeth, thou hast founded them.
११आकाश तुझे आहे आणि पृथ्वीही तुझी आहे. तू जग आणि त्यातले सर्वकाही निर्माण केलेस.
12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
१२उत्तर आणि दक्षिण निर्माण केल्या. ताबोर आणि हर्मोन तुझ्या नावाचा जयजयकार करतात.
13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
१३तुला पराक्रमी भुज आहे आणि तुला बळकट हात आहे व तुझा उजवा हात उंचावला आहे.
14 Righteousness and justice are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
१४निती आणि न्याय तुझ्या राजासनाचा पाया आहेत. कराराचा विश्वास आणि सत्य तुझ्यासमोर आहेत.
15 Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
१५जे तुझी उपासना करतात ते आशीर्वादित आहेत. हे परमेश्वरा ते तुझ्या मुखप्रकाशात चालतात.
16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
१६ते दिवसभर तुझ्या नावाची स्तुती करतात, आणि तुझ्या न्यायीपणाने ते तुला उंचावतात.
17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
१७त्यांच्या शक्तीचे वैभव तू आहेस, आणि तुझ्या कृपेने आम्ही विजयी आहोत.
18 For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
१८कारण आमची ढाल परमेश्वराची आहे; इस्राएलाचा पवित्र देव आमचा राजा आहे.
19 Then thou didst speak in vision to thy holy one, and didst say, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
१९पूर्वी तू आपल्या विश्वासणाऱ्यांशी दृष्टांतात बोललास; तू म्हणालास, मी एका वीरावर मुकुट ठेवण्याचे ठरवले आहे; लोकांतून निवडलेल्या एकास मी उंचावले आहे.
20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
२०मी माझा सेवक दावीद याला निवडले आहे; मी त्यास आपल्या पवित्र तेलाने अभिषेक केला आहे.
21 With whom my hand shall be established: my arm also shall strengthen him.
२१माझा हात त्यास आधार देईल; माझा बाहू त्यास बलवान करील.
22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
२२कोणी शत्रू त्यास फसवणार नाही. दुष्टांची मुले त्यास छळणार नाहीत.
23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and afflict them that hate him.
२३मी त्याच्या शत्रूंना त्याच्यापुढे चिरडून टाकीन; जे त्याचा द्वेष करतात त्यांना मारून टाकीन.
24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
२४माझे सत्य आणि विश्वासाचा करार त्यांच्याबरोबर राहील; माझ्या नावाने ते विजयी होतील.
25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
२५मी त्याचा हात समुद्रावर आणि त्याचा उजवा हात नद्यांवर ठेवीन.
26 He shall cry to me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
२६तो मला हाक मारून म्हणेल, तू माझा पिता, माझा देव, माझ्या तारणाचा खडक आहेस.
27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
२७आणि मी त्यास माझा प्रथम जन्मलेला पुत्र करीन, पृथ्वीवरील राजांत त्यास परमश्रेष्ठ करीन.
28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
२८मी आपला विश्वासाचा करार त्यांच्यासाठी सर्वकाळ विस्तारील, आणि त्यांच्याबरोबरचा माझा करार सर्वकाळ टिकेल.
29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
२९त्याचे वंश सर्वकाळ राहील, आणि त्याचे राजासन आकाशाप्रमाणे टिकेल.
30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
३०जर त्याच्या वंशजांनी माझे नियम सोडले आणि माझ्या आदेशाचा आज्ञाभंग केला.
31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
३१जर त्यांनी माझे नियम मोडले आणि माझ्या आज्ञा पाळल्या नाहीत.
32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
३२मग मी त्यांच्या बंडखोरांना काठीने, आणि त्यांच्या अपराधांना फटक्यांनी शिक्षा करीन.
33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.
३३परंतु मी माझा विश्वासाचा करार त्यांच्यापासून काढून घेणार नाही; मी माझ्या वचनाशी निष्ठावान राहीन.
34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that hath gone out of my lips.
३४मी माझा करार मोडणार नाही, किंवा माझ्या ओठांचे शब्द बदलणार नाही.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie to David.
३५एकदा सर्वांसाठी मी आपल्या पवित्रतेची शपथ वाहिली आहे, आणि मी दावीदाशी खोटे बोलणार नाही.
36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
३६त्याची संतती सर्वकाळ राहील, आणि त्याचे राजासन माझ्यासमोर सूर्याप्रमाणे कायम राहील.
37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. (Selah)
३७ते चंद्राप्रमाणे सर्वकाळ टिकेल. आकाशात विश्वसनीय साक्षीदार आहेत.
38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been full of wrath with thy anointed.
३८पण तरी तू आपल्या अभिषिक्तावर रागावलास, तू त्याचा त्याग केला, आणि नाकारलेस.
39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.
३९तू आपल्या सेवकाशी केलेला करार सोडून दिलास. तू त्याचा मुकुट भूमीवर फेकून भ्रष्ट केलास.
40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
४०तू त्याच्या सर्व भिंती पाडून टाकल्यास. तू त्याचे सर्व किल्ले उध्वस्त केलेस.
41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
४१सर्व येणारे जाणारे त्यास लुटतात. तो आपल्या शेजाऱ्यांच्या तिरस्काराचा विषय झाला आहे.
42 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
४२तू त्याच्या शत्रूंचा उजवा हात उंच केला आहे. तू त्याच्या सर्व शत्रूंना आनंदित केले आहेस.
43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
४३तू त्यांच्या तलवारीची धार बोथट केली आहे. आणि युद्धात त्यास तू टिकाव धरू दिला नाहीस.
44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
४४तू त्याच्या तेजस्वितेचा शेवट केला; तू त्याचे सिंहासन जमिनीवर खाली आणलेस.
45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)
४५तू त्याच्या तारुण्याचे दिवस कमी केले आहेत. तू त्यास लज्जेने झाकले आहेस.
46 How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
४६हे परमेश्वरा, किती वेळ? तू आपल्या स्वतःला सर्वकाळ लपविणार काय? तुझा राग अग्नीसारखा किती वेळ जळेल?
47 Remember how short my time is: why hast thou made all men in vain?
४७माझे आयुष्य किती कमी आहे याविषयी विचार कर, तू सर्व मानव पुत्र निर्माण केलेस ते व्यर्थच काय?
48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
४८कोण जिवंत राहिल आणि मरणार नाही किंवा कोण आपला जीव अधोलोकातून सोडवील? (Sheol h7585)
49 Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou didst swear to David in thy truth?
४९हे प्रभू, ज्या सत्यतेत तू दावीदाशी शपथ वाहिली, ती तुझी पूर्वीची विश्वासाच्या कराराची कृत्ये कोठे आहेत?
50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
५०हे प्रभू, तुझ्या सेवकाविरूद्धची थट्टा होत आहे; आणि अनेक राष्ट्राकडून झालेला अपमान मी आपल्या हृदयात सहन करत आहे हे तू लक्षात आण.
51 With which thy enemies have reproached, O LORD; with which they have reproached the footsteps of thy anointed.
५१हे परमेश्वरा, तुझे शत्रू जोराने अपमान करतात; ते तुझ्या अभिषिक्ताच्या पावलांची थट्टा करतात.
52 Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
५२परमेश्वरास सदासर्वकाळ धन्यवाद असो. आमेन आणि आमेन.
