Psalms 84

1 To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, തിരുനിവാസം എത്ര മനോഹരം!

2 My soul longeth, and, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവയുടെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളെ വാഞ്ഛിച്ചു മോഹിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയവും എന്റെ മാംസവും ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെ നോക്കി ഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.

3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thy altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

കുരികിൽ ഒരു വീടും, മീവൽപക്ഷി കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു കൂടും കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ രാജാവും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ യാഗപീഠങ്ങളെ തന്നേ.

4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. (Selah)

നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവർ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ; അവർ നിന്നെ നിത്യം സ്തുതിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. (സേലാ)

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

ബലം നിന്നിൽ ഉള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; ഇങ്ങിനെയുള്ളവരുടെ മനസ്സിൽ സീയോനിലേക്കുള്ള പെരുവഴികൾ ഉണ്ടു.

6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

കണ്ണുനീർ താഴ്വരയിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ അതിനെ ജലാശയമാക്കിത്തീൎക്കുന്നു. മുന്മഴയാൽ അതു അനുഗ്രഹപൂൎണ്ണമായ്തീരുന്നു.

7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

അവർ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ ബലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും സീയോനിൽ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ചെന്നെത്തുന്നു.

8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാൎത്ഥന കേൾക്കേണമേ; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ. (സേലാ)

9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thy anointed.

ഞങ്ങളുടെ പരിചയായ ദൈവമേ, നോക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ;

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

നിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിൽ കഴിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസം വേറെ ആയിരം ദിവസത്തെക്കാൾ ഉത്തമമല്ലോ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാൎക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ വാതിൽ കാവല്ക്കാരനായിരിക്കുന്നതു എനിക്കു ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടം.

11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

യഹോവയായ ദൈവം സൂൎയ്യനും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു; യഹോവ കൃപയും മഹത്വവും നല്കുന്നു; നേരോടെ നടക്കുന്നവൎക്കു അവൻ ഒരു നന്മയും മുടക്കുകയില്ല.

12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.
