Psalms 57
1 To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities are past by.
| برای سالار مغنیان برلاتهلک. مکتوم داود وقتی که از حضور شاول به مغاره فرار کرد ای خدا بر من رحم فرما، بر من رحم فرما! زیرا جانم در تو پناه می‌برد، و درسایه بالهای تو پناه می‌برم تا این بلایا بگذرد. | ۱ |
2 I will cry to God most high; to God that performeth all things for me.
| نزدخدای تعالی آواز خواهم داد، نزد خدایی که همه‌چیز را برایم تمام می‌کند. | ۲ |
3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. (Selah) God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
| از آسمان فرستاده، مرا خواهد رهانید. زیرا تعاقب کننده سخت من ملامت می‌کند، سلاه. خدا رحمت و راستی خودرا خواهد فرستاد. | ۳ |
4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
| جان من در میان شیران است. در میان آتش افروزان می‌خوابم یعنی آدمیانی که دندانهایشان نیزه‌ها و تیرهاست. و زبان ایشان شمشیر برنده است. | ۴ |
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
| ای خدا بر آسمانها متعال شو و جلال تو بر تمامی جهان. | ۵ |
6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have dug a pit before me, into the midst of which they have fallen themselves. (Selah)
| دامی برای پایهایم مهیا ساختند و جانم خم گردید. چاهی پیش رویم کندند، و خود در میانش افتادند، سلاه. | ۶ |
7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
| دل من مستحکم است خدایا دل من مستحکم است. سرود خواهم خواند و ترنم خواهم نمود. | ۷ |
8 Awake, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
| ای جلال من بیدار شو! ای بربط وعود بیدار شو! صبحگاهان من بیدار خواهم شد. | ۸ |
9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing to thee among the nations.
| ای خداوند تو را در میان امت‌ها حمد خواهم گفت. تو را در میان قوم‌ها تسبیح خواهم خواند. | ۹ |
10 For thy mercy is great to the heavens, and thy truth to the clouds.
| زیرا رحمت تو تا آسمانها عظیم است وراستی تو تا افلاک. | ۱۰ |
11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
| خدایا بر آسمانها متعال شو. و جلال تو بر تمامی جهان. | ۱۱ |
