< Psalms 54 >

1 To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
O Pathen thaneitah in hung’in lang neihuhdoh in! Na thahatnan nei veng’in.
2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
O Pathen ka taona ngaijin, ka thumna hi neihin gelkhoh peh’in,
3 For strangers have risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. (Selah)
Ajeh chu gamdang mite’n eihin delkhum uvin, mi engse ten tha ding’in eihol’un ahi, amahon Pathen imachan agel pouve.
4 Behold, God is my helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
Ahinlah kei ding’in Pathen hi eipanpi ahin, Pakai hin eihinghoi ahi.
5 He shall reward evil to my enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
Ka galmi ten thilse agon jouse’u hi amaho chung ma ma ah chuhen! Na dei dan dan’in achung'uva na tong’in lang amaho khu subei in.
6 I will freely sacrifice to thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
Keiman naheng a kiphal tah in thilpeh hinchoi ing e; Keiman namin hinthang vah ing kate Pakai, ajeh chu hichu apha ahi.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and my eye hath seen its desire upon my enemies.
Ajeh chu Pakai nang’in ka hesohna a kon’in neihuhdoh tan, ka galmite chung’a jong galjona neimusah tan ahi.
