< Psalms 47 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout to God with the voice of triumph.
Kumutungamiri wokuimba waVanakomana vaKora. Pisarema. Uchirai maoko, imi vanhu vose; pururudzai kuna Mwari nokudanidzira kwomufaro.
2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
Jehovha Wokumusoro-soro anotyisa sei, iye Mambo mukuru pamusoro penyika yose!
3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
Akaisa ndudzi dzavanhu pasi pedu, marudzi pasi petsoka dzedu.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)
Akatitsaurira nhaka yedu, iyo pfuma yaJakobho, waakada. Sera
5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Mwari akwidza kumusoro pakati pokudanidzira kwomufaro, Jehovha pakati pokurira kwehwamanda.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises.
Imbirai Mwari nziyo dzokurumbidza, murumbidzei nenziyo. Imbirai Mambo wedu nziyo dzokurumbidza, murumbidzei nenziyo.
7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Nokuti Mwari ndiye Mambo wenyika yose; muimbirei pisarema rokurumbidza.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
Mwari anotonga pamusoro pendudzi dzose; Mwari agere pamusoro pechigaro chake chitsvene.
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong to God: he is greatly exalted.
Makurukota amarudzi aungana savanhu vaMwari waAbhurahama, nokuti madzimambo enyika ndeaMwari; iye anokudzwa zvikuru kwazvo.
