Psalms 38

1 A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

౧దావీదు కీర్తన, జ్ఞాపకం కోసం యెహోవా, నీ కోపంలో నన్ను గద్దించవద్దు. నీ తీవ్ర కోపంలో నన్ను శిక్షించవద్దు.

2 For thy arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand falleth heavy upon me.

౨నీ బాణాలు నాకు గట్టిగా గుచ్చుకుంటున్నాయి. నీ చెయ్యి నన్ను అణచివేస్తుంది.

3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thy anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

౩నీ కోపం వల్ల నా శరీరమంతా అనారోగ్యం కలిగింది. నా పాపం కారణంగా నా ఎముకల్లో ఆరోగ్యం లేకుండా పోయింది.

4 For my iniquities have gone over my head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

౪ఎందుకంటే నా దోషాలు నన్ను ముంచెత్తి వేస్తున్నాయి. అవి నేను మోయలేనంత భారంగా ఉన్నాయి.

5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

౫మూర్ఖంగా నేను చేసిన పాపాల వల్ల నాకు కలిగిన గాయాలు కుళ్ళి దుర్వాసన వస్తున్నాయి.

6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

౬నేను పూర్తిగా కుంగిపోయాను. రోజంతా నాకు అవమానం కలుగుతుంది.

7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

౭అవమానం నన్ను ముంచెత్తివేసింది. నా శరీరమంతా రోగగ్రస్థమైంది.

8 I am feeble and grievously broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

౮నేను మొద్దుబారిపోయాను. పూర్తిగా నలిగిపోయాను. నా హృదయంలోని వేదన కారణంగా మూలుగుతున్నాను.

9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

౯ప్రభూ, నా హృదయపు లోతుల్లోని తీవ్ర ఆకాంక్షలు నువ్వు అర్థం చేసుకుంటావు. నా మూల్గులు నీకు వినిపిస్తూనే ఉన్నాయి.

10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of my eyes, that also is gone from me.

౧౦నా గుండె వేగంగా కొట్టుకుంటున్నది. నా శక్తి క్షీణించిపోతూ ఉంది. నా కంటి చూపు మసకబారుతూ ఉంది.

11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my affliction; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

౧౧నా ఈ పరిస్థితి కారణంగా నా స్నేహితులూ, తోటివాళ్ళూ నన్ను వదిలేశారు. నా పొరుగువాళ్ళు దూరంగా నిలబడ్డారు.

12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

౧౨నా ప్రాణం తీయాలని చూసేవాళ్ళు నా కోసం ఉచ్చు బిగిస్తున్నారు. నాకు హాని కలగాలని చూసేవాళ్ళు వినాశకరమైన మాటలు పలుకుతున్నారు. రోజంతా మోసపూరితంగా మాట్లాడుతున్నారు

13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

౧౩కానీ నేను చెవిటివాడిలాగా ఏమీ వినకుండా ఉన్నాను. మూగవాడిలాగా ఏమీ మాట్లాడకుండా ఉన్నాను.

14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

౧౪ఏమీ విననివాడిలాగా నేను ఉన్నాను. జవాబు చెప్పలేని వాడిలాగా ఉన్నాను.

15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

౧౫యెహోవా, నేను తప్పకుండా నీ కోసం వేచి ఉన్నాను. ప్రభూ, నా దేవా, నాకు నువ్వు జవాబిస్తావు.

16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

౧౬నా శత్రువులు నాపై రెచ్చిపోకుండా ఉండటానికి నేనిది చెప్తున్నాను. నేను కాలు జారితే వాళ్ళు నన్ను భయంకరంగా హింసిస్తారు.

17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.

౧౭నేను పడిపోవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాను. నేను నిరంతర వేదనలో ఉన్నాను.

18 For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

౧౮నా దోషాన్ని నేను ఒప్పుకుంటున్నాను. నా పాపాన్ని గూర్చి చింతిస్తున్నాను.

19 But my enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

౧౯కానీ నా శత్రువులు అసంఖ్యాకంగా ఉన్నారు. అన్యాయంగా నన్ను ద్వేషించేవాళ్ళు చాలామంది ఉన్నారు.

20 They also that render evil for good are my adversaries; because I follow the thing that is good.

౨౦నేను వాళ్లకు చేసిన మేలుకు బదులుగా కీడు చేస్తున్నారు. నేను ఉత్తమమైన దాన్ని అనుసరించినా వాళ్ళు నాపై నిందలు వేస్తున్నారు.

21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

౨౧యెహోవా, నన్ను విడిచిపెట్టవద్దు. నా దేవా, నాకు దూరంగా ఉండవద్దు.

22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

౨౨ప్రభూ, నా రక్షణకి ఆధారమా, త్వరగా వచ్చి నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి.
