Psalms 25

1 A Psalm of David. To thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

A ti, o! Jehová, levantaré mi alma.

2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.

Dios mío, en ti confié: no sea yo avergonzado, no se alegren de mí mis enemigos.

3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed who transgress without cause.

Ciertamente todos los que te esperan, no serán avergonzados: serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.

4 Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Tus caminos, o! Jehová, házme saber: enséñame tus sendas.

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Encamíname en tu verdad, y enséñame: porque tú eres el Dios de mi salud: a ti he esperado todo el día.

6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

Acuérdate de tus miseraciones, o! Jehová: y de tus misericordias, que son perpetuas.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

De los pecados de mi mocedad, y de mis rebeliones no te acuerdes: conforme a tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, tú, por tu bondad, o! Jehová.

8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Bueno y recto es Jehová: por tanto él enseñará a los pecadores el camino.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Encaminará a los humildes por el juicio; y enseñará a los mansos su carrera.

10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Todas las sendas de Jehová son misericordia y verdad, a los que guardan su concierto, y sus testimonios.

11 For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity; for it is great.

Por tu nombre, o! Jehová, perdonarás también mi pecado; porque es grande.

12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

¿Quién es el varón que teme a Jehová? Enseñarle ha el camino que ha de escoger.

13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Su alma reposará en el bien: y su simiente herederá la tierra.

14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.

El secreto de Jehová, a los que le temen: y su concierto, para hacerles saber.

15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Mis ojos, siempre a Jehová; porque él sacará de la red mis pies.

16 Turn thee to me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí: porque yo soy solo, y pobre.

17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

Las angustias de mi corazón se ensancharon: sácame de mis congojas.

18 Look upon my affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

Mira mi aflicción, y mi trabajo: y perdona todos mis pecados.

19 Consider my enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

Mira mis enemigos, que se han multiplicado: y de odio injusto me han aborrecido.

20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.

Guarda mi alma, y líbrame: no sea yo avergonzado, porque en ti confié.

21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

Integridad y rectitud me guardarán: porque a ti he esperado.

22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Redime, o! Dios, a Israel de todas sus angustias.
