Psalms 24

1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD’S, and all it containeth; the world, and they that dwell in it.

Псалом Давида. Господня земля и что наполняет ее, вселенная и все живущее в ней,

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

ибо Он основал ее на морях и на реках утвердил ее.

3 Who shall ascend upon the hill of the LORD? and who shall stand in his holy place?

Кто взойдет на гору Господню, или кто станет на святом месте Его?

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Тот, у которого руки неповинны и сердце чисто, кто не клялся душою своею напрасно и не божился ложно, -

5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

тот получит благословение от Господа и милость от Бога, Спасителя своего.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. (Selah)

Таков род ищущих Его, ищущих лица Твоего, Боже Иакова!

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Поднимите, врата, верхи ваши, и поднимитесь, двери вечные, и войдет Царь славы!

8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Кто сей Царь славы? - Господь крепкий и сильный, Господь, сильный в брани.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Поднимите, врата, верхи ваши, и поднимитесь, двери вечные, и войдет Царь славы!

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. (Selah)

Кто сей Царь славы? - Господь сил, Он - царь славы.
