Psalms 138

1 A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise to thee.

Alabarte he con todo mi corazón: delante de los dioses te cantaré salmos.

2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Encorvarme he al templo de tu santidad, y alabaré tu nombre sobre tu misericordia y tu verdad; porque has hecho magnífico tu nombre, y tu palabra sobre todas las cosas.

3 In the day when I cried thou didst answer me, and strengthen me with strength in my soul.

El día que te llamé, me respondiste, esforzásteme, y diste en mi alma fortaleza.

4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

Confesarte han, o! Jehová, todos los reyes de la tierra; porque oyeron las palabras de tu boca.

5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.

Y cantarán en los caminos de Jehová: que la gloria de Jehová es grande.

6 Though the LORD is high, yet hath he respect to the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

Porque el alto Jehová mira al humilde, y al altivo conoce de lejos.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

Si anduviere por medio de la angustia, me vivificarás: contra la ira de mis enemigos extenderás tu mano, y tu diestra me salvará.

8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thy own hands.

Jehová cumplirá por mí, Jehová, tu misericordia es para siempre; no dejarás la obra de tus manos.
