< Psalms 120 >

1 A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried to the LORD, and he heard me.
Ɔsoroforo dwom. Misu frɛ Awurade wɔ mʼahohiahia mu, na ogye me so.
2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
Awurade, gye me fi atoro ano, ne nnaadaa tɛkrɛma nsam.
3 What shall be given to thee? or what shall be done to thee, thou false tongue?
Dɛn na ɔbɛyɛ wo, na dɛn na ɛka ho bio, wo nnaadaa tɛkrɛma?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
Ɔde asraafo bɛmma a ano yɛ nnam ne nnyansramma bɛtwe wʼaso.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
Nnome nka me sɛ metena Mesek, na mete Kedar ntamadan mu!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
Matena wɔn a wokyi asomdwoe mu akyɛ dodo.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
Meyɛ asomdwoe nipa; nanso sɛ mekasa a, wɔde yɛ ɔko.
