Psalms 120

1 A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried to the LORD, and he heard me.

၁ငါ​သည်​ဒုက္ခ​ရောက်​စဉ်​အ​ခါ​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား ကို ဟစ်​ခေါ်​ပါ​၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည်​လည်း​ထူး​တော်​မူ​ပါ​၏။

2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

၂အို ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကျွန်​တော်​မျိုး​အား​လိမ်​လည်​တတ်​သူ​များ နှင့် လှည့်​စား​တတ်​သူ​များ​၏​လက်​မှ​ကယ်​တော် မူ​ပါ။

3 What shall be given to thee? or what shall be done to thee, thou false tongue?

၃အ​ချင်း​လိမ်​လည်​တတ်​သူ​တို့၊ သင်​တို့​အား​ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်​သည်​အ​ဘယ်​သို့ စီ​ရင်​တော်​မူ​လိမ့်​မည်​နည်း။ သင်​တို့​အား​ကိုယ်​တော်​သည်​အ​ဘယ်​သို့ ဒဏ်​ခတ်​တော်​မူ​လိမ့်​မည်​နည်း။

4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

၄စစ်​သည်​တို့​၏​ထက်​မြက်​သော​မြား​ဖြင့်​လည်း ကောင်း၊ ရဲ​ရဲ​တောက်​ပူ​လောင်​သည့်​မီး​ခဲ​ဖြင့်​လည်း​ကောင်း ဒဏ်​ခတ်​တော်​မူ​လိမ့်​မည်။

5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

၅သင်​တို့​နှင့်​ငါ​နေ​ရ​သည်​မှာ​မေ​ရှက်​ပြည်​၌ နေ​ထိုင်​ရ​သ​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ကေ​ဒါ အ​မျိုး​သား​များ​နှင့်​အ​တူ နေ​ထိုင်​ရ​သ​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း​ဆိုး​ရွား​ပါ​၏။

6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

၆ငါ​သည်​ငြိမ်း​ချမ်း​ရေး​ကို​မုန်း​သော​သူ​တို့​နှင့် နေ​ရ​သည်​မှာ​ကြာ​မြင့်​လွန်း​လေ​ပြီ။

7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

၇ငါ​သည်​ငြိမ်း​ချမ်း​ရေး​အ​ကြောင်း​ပြော​ဆို သော​အ​ခါ သူ​တို့​က​စစ်​တိုက်​ရန်​ပြော​ဆို​ကြ​၏။
