Psalms 118

1 O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Аллилуия. Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его.

2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Да скажет ныне дом Израилев: Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Да скажет ныне дом Ааронов: Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его.

4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Да скажут ныне боящиеся Господа: Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его.

5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

Из тесноты воззвал я к Господу, - и услышал меня, и на пространное место вывел меня Господь.

6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?

Господь за меня - не устрашусь: что сделает мне человек?

7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

Господь мне помощник: буду смотреть на врагов моих.

8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Лучше уповать на Господа, нежели надеяться на человека.

9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Лучше уповать на Господа, нежели надеяться на князей.

10 All nations surrounded me: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

Все народы окружили меня, но именем Господним я низложил их;

11 They surrounded me; yea, they surrounded me: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

обступили меня, окружили меня, но именем Господним я низложил их;

12 They surrounded me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

окружили меня, как пчелы сот, и угасли, как огонь в терне: именем Господним я низложил их.

13 Thou hast violently thrust at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

Сильно толкнули меня, чтобы я упал, но Господь поддержал меня.

14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Господь - сила моя и песнь; Он соделался моим спасением.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

Глас радости и спасения в жилищах праведников: десница Господня творит силу!

16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

Десница Господня высока, десница Господня творит силу!

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Не умру, но буду жить и возвещать дела Господни.

18 The LORD hath chastened me greatly: but he hath not given me over to death.

Строго наказал меня Господь, но смерти не предал меня.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter them, and I will praise the LORD:

Отворите мне врата правды; войду в них, прославлю Господа.

20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

Вот врата Господа; праведные войдут в них.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

Славлю Тебя, что Ты услышал меня и соделался моим спасением.

22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

Камень, который отвергли строители, соделался главою угла:

23 This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

это - от Господа, и есть дивно в очах наших.

24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Сей день сотворил Господь: возрадуемся и возвеселимся в оный!

25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

О, Господи, спаси же! О, Господи, споспешествуй же!

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

Благословен грядущий во имя Господне! Благословляем вас из дома Господня.

27 God is the LORD, who hath shown us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

Бог - Господь, и осиял нас; вяжите вервями жертву, ведите к рогам жертвенника.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Ты Бог мой: буду славить Тебя; Ты Бог мой: буду превозносить Тебя, буду славить Тебя, ибо Ты услышал меня и соделался моим спасением.

29 O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его.
