Psalms 108
1 A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
Пісня. Псалом Давидів. Серце моє непохитне, Боже; я співатиму й гратиму [Тобі] мою славу.
2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
Прокинься, ліро й арфо! Розбуджу-но я зорю досвітню!
3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to thee among the nations.
Я прославлю Тебе серед народів, Господи, співатиму Тобі поміж племенами.
4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth to the clouds.
Бо велика понад небеса милість Твоя і аж до хмар – істина Твоя.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
Піднімися понад небесами, Боже; над усією землею – слава Твоя.
6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
Щоб улюблені Твої були визволені, врятуй нас правицею Своєю і дай нам відповідь.
7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Бог промовив у Своєму святилищі: «Урочисто святкуватиму перемогу, Я розділю Сихем і розміряю долину Суккот.
8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my lawgiver;
Мені належить Ґілеад, і Манассія – Мій, Єфрем – міць Моєї голови, Юда – Мій законодавець.
9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
Моав – Моя чаша для омовіння, на Едом Я кину Свою сандалію, гукай радісно до Мене, о земле филистимлян!»
10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Хто введе мене в місто укріплене? Хто доведе мене до Едома?
11 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies?
Хіба не Ти, Боже, Котрий відкинув нас і не виходиш, Боже, з воїнствами нашими?
12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Подай нам допомогу [в боротьбі] з ворогом, адже марний порятунок людський.
13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he will tread down our enemies.
У Бозі ми виявимо силу, і Він розтопче наших ворогів.
