< Psalms 106 >

1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Pakai chu thangvah’in umhen! Pathen chu aphatna jeh’in thangvahna peuvin.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?
Pakai in thil loupi kidangtah atohdoh hohi kon asim jou ding ham? Kon Amahi ahina bangtah’in athangvah joudem?
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Mi ahina bangtah a pachatna pethei holeh phattin a adih jeng bol hon kipana aneithei jengun ahi.
4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest to thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
Pakai nangin namite khotona namusah tengleh neihin geldoh’in lang neihin nai in neihuhdoh’in.
5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thy inheritance.
Nalhendoh namite phatthei naboh nahoa keijong chan neineisah’in. Namite kipana a keijong neikipa sah’in. Nagou chang toh nangma thangvah khom kanom e.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
Kapu kapateu bangin keiho jong kachonse tauve, keihon kabolkhel tauve, keiho phaloutah’in kanachon tauve,
7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
Egypt gam a ana um kapu kapateu chu Pakai thil kidang bol ho chun tilkhou pouve. Amahon adinguva Pakai phatna hochu ana sumil loiji tauve. Amahon twikhanglen san munnachun Pakai dounan ahung phunchel tauvin ahi.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
Achuti jeng vangun, Amin loupe dopsangna dingleh athaneina thupitah chu akilandohna dingin amaho chu ana huhdoh thouthou jin ahi.
9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
Aman twikhanglen sanchu akan-na dingin thu apen, Aman twikhanglen chu neldigam abahsah’in Israelte chu ahinpui galkai in ahi.
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
Hiti chun agalmiteuva kon in anahuhdoh jin, chuleh akidoupihoa kon in ana hoidohsah’in ahi.
11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
Twi chu akinung ledoh sah’in agalmiteu akhukhum jin khatcha jong anahingdoh pouvin ahi.
12 Then they believed his words; they sang his praise.
Hitengle chun amiten akitepna chu atahsan jiuvin Ama vahchoina la chu asajiuvin ahi.
13 They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:
Ahinla Pakai in abolpeh houchu gangtah’in asumilji tauvin, Ama thuhil angahji pouvin ahi.
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
Gamthip noi achun amaho tahsa ngaichat thilngen anatham’un hiche gamchai lah’a chun Pathen chu anapatep’un,
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
hijeh chun Aman angaichat’u chu anapen ahinlah natsat toh apehthan ahi.
16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
Camp sunga umhochu Mose chungah athangthipmun chuleh Pakai thempu theng Aaron a-ot’un ahi.
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
Hichejeh chun leiset chu ahung kamkan, Dathan, Abiramleh akiphinho jouse chu anavallhum’in avuimangtan ahi.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
Anungjui ho chungah meikong achun miphalou ho jouse chu meikong’in ahalgam tan ahi.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
Sinai mol’a sana a kisem bongnou chu chibai aboh’un,
20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
Loupitah Pathen chu hampane bonglim toh analheh tauve.
21 They forgot God their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt;
Amahon ahuhingpau, Egypt gamma konna ahinpuidoh pau,
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
Ham gamsunga thil kidang tamtah ahin boldohpeh pau, twikhanglen sanna gimneitah thil anatongdohpa a Pathen’u chu anasumil tauvin ahi.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
Hijeh chun Aman kasuhmang ding ahi tin anaphongdoh tan ahi. Ahinlah Mose, lhendoh mipa chu Pakai leh amipite kikah’a anadingtan, aman Pakai kommachun alunghanna’a konna kile heija amipite chu asuhmang louna dingin ataotai.
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
Mipite chu gamnom lutding chu ananom tapouvin ahi, ajeh chu Pathen in ana kitepna banga apuihoi dingchu ananom tapouvin ahi.
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not to the voice of the LORD.
Ajeh chu akaleh langin achon un, aponbuh sung uvah ana phunchel gam un, Pakai thu anangainom pouvin,
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
hijeh chun Pakai chu lunghemtah’in ana kihahsel’in amahohi hiche gamthip noi a kathagam ding ahiuve anatitai.
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
Chutengleh ason apahteu chu chitin namtin lah’a kathejal sohding, chuleh gamlatah tah’a kaimang’a umdiu ahi ati.
28 They joined themselves also to Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
Hiti chun, ipu apateu chu Baal leh Peor chibai bohna a anapang’un, mithi dinga kikatdoh sa jengjong ananeuvin ahi.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their deeds: and the plague broke in upon them.
Hitiho jehhin amahon Pakai chu ana sulang hangun hijeh chun alah uva natset analangtan ahi.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stopped.
Ahinla Phenehas kitipa chun hangsantah’in nat se chu ana tingtan’in ahileh natset chu atangtai.
31 And that was counted to him for righteousness to all generations for evermore.
Hijeh chun hichea patchun michonpha tin jana anapetauvin ahi.
32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
Meribah-a jong Pakai chu ana lunghansah’un hichun Mose chu anasuboi lheh’in ahi.
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke unadvisedly with his lips.
Amahon Mose chu analunghan sah’un ahileh aman ngolkaitah’in thu anaseilo tan ahi
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
Israelten chidang namdang hochu Pakai in thu anapeh dungjui in anasohjou pouvin,
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
hichu hilouvin agamsung mite lah’a chun ana chenghal un achonnao phaloutah hochu ana joptauvin,
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare to them.
amilim doi houvu chu anahou un hichun alhuhnao asodohsahtan ahi.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons,
Amahon achateu kisan chu anakatdoh’un chuleh achanuteu jengjong thillha hounan anapedoh’un,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
amahon themmona neilou thisan anasouvin, achapateu leh achanuteu thisan chu Canaan mite doi hounan anamang’un tolthanan gamsung chu anasuboh’un,
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went astray with their own deeds.
amahole amaho jong thilgilou bolnan anakisuboh’un adoihou thanopnau chu Pakai mitmun jonthanhoi ana hidohtan ahi.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
Hichejeh chun Pakai lunghanna chu amite chungah anakoudoh jengin ahileh Pakai in ama-a tum hochu ana kidah lotan ahi.
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
Hijeh chun Pakai in amaho chu agamsung nammite lah’a chun ana pedoh’in chuleh athet nammiteu chun amaho chungah vai anahomji tauvin ahi.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
Agalmi houchun asugep jiuvin chuleh abolgimnao khut thahatna noi a anakoiji tauvin ahi.
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
Avel vellin Aman ahuhdohjin, ahinlah amahon Ama dounan akipedohji tauvin ahi, chutengleh amaho chu achonset jeh’un suhmangin aumji tauvin ahi.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
Ahijeng vang'in ahahsat tenguleh Aman akhotokit jiuvin akanao angaipeh kitjitan ahi.
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
Aman amaho toh akitepnao ahin geldoh kitji in angailutna chultheilou jehhin alung ahinhei kitji in,
46 He made them also to be pitied by all those that carried them captives.
Aman ganhing a amanteu khutnah khotona amusah kitji nalaijin ahi.
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks to thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
O Pakai ka Pathen’u neihuhdoh’un! Chitin namtin lah’a konhin neichomkhom kitnun hitiachu namintheng kathangvah theina diuvin chuleh kipah a nangma kathangvah theina diuvin.
48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
