Psalms 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers.

၁မတရားသောသူတို့၏ တိုက်တွန်းခြင်းသို့ မလိုက်၊

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

၂လူဆိုးတို့၏ လမ်းတွင်မရပ်မနေ၊ မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော သူတို့၏ အစည်းအဝေး၌မထိုင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ တရားတော်၌ မွေ့လျော်၍၊ တရားတော်ကို နေ့ညဉ့်မပြတ် ဆင်ခြင်အောက်မေ့သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he doeth shall prosper.

၃အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူသည် မြစ်နားမှာ စိုက်လျက် မိမိအချိန်တန်မှ အသီးကိုသီး၍၊ အရွက်မညှိုး နွမ်းတတ်သော အပင်နှင့်တူ၏။ ပြုလေသမျှတို့၌ အောင်လိမ့်သတည်း။

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

၄မတရားသော သူတို့မူကား ထိုကဲ့သို့မဟုတ်။ လေတိုက်၍ လွင့်သောဖွဲနှင့်တူကြ၏။

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

၅ထိုကြောင့် တရားဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူရာကာလ၌၊ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် မတည်မနေရကြ။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သော သူတို့၏အပေါင်းအသင်းထဲသို့ လူဆိုးတို့သည် မဝင်ရကြ။

6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

၆အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့၏ လမ်းကို ထာဝရဘုရားကျွမ်းတော်မူ၏။ မတရားသော သူတို့၏ လမ်းသည်ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရလိမ့်သတည်း။
