Leviticus 22
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Und der Herr redete zu Moses also.-
2 Speak to Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow to me: I am the LORD.
"Sag dem Aaron und seinen Söhnen, sie sollen wegen der heiligen Gaben der Israeliten enthaltsam sein, auf daß sie meinen heiligen Namen nicht entweihen, wenn sie mir, dem Herrn, Gaben weihen!
3 Say to them, Whoever he may be of all your seed among your generations, that approacheth the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow to the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
Sprich zu ihnen: 'Für eure Geschlechter! Wer von all euren Nachkommen je den heiligen Gaben naht, die dem Herrn die Israeliten weihen, solange an ihm Unreinheit ist, diese Person werde vor meinem Angesichte weggestrichen! Ich bin der Herr.
4 Whatever man of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. And whoever toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
Wer von dem Aaronsstamm aussätzig oder flüssig ist, soll nichts von den heiligen Gaben essen, bis er wieder rein ist! Wer einen, der durch eine Leiche unrein ward, berührt, oder wem der Same entgeht,
5 Or whoever toucheth any creeping thing, by which he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he hath;
wer ein Gewürm berührt, wodurch man unrein wird, oder einen Menschen, an dem man unrein wird durch irgendeine Unreinheit an ihm,
6 The soul who hath touched any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he shall wash his flesh with water.
diese Person, die das berührt, sei bis zum Abend unrein! Sie soll nichts von heiligen Gaben essen, bevor sie ihren Leib gebadet hat!
7 And when the sun is set, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.
Sobald die Sonne untergeht, ist er rein. Hernach mag er von heiligen Gaben essen. Denn das ist sein Brot.
8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn by beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself with it: I am the LORD.
Gefallenes und Zerrissenes darf er nicht essen, daß er nicht dadurch unrein werde. Ich bin der Herr.
9 They shall therefore keep my ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD sanctifieth them.
Sie sollen meine Vorschrift befolgen, daß sie nicht deswegen Sünde auf sich laden; sie würden sterben, wenn sie es entweihen. Ich bin es, der Herr, der sie heiligt.
10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
Kein Unbefugter darf Heiliges genießen. Der Beisaß des Priesters und der Lohndiener dürfen nichts Heiliges essen.
11 But if the priest shall buy any person with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his food.
Erwirbt ein Priester für Geld einen Sklaven, so darf er mitessen, ebenso ein Hausgeborener. Sie dürfen von seiner Speise essen.
12 If the priest’s daughter also shall be married to a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
Aber eine Priestertochter, die einen Nichtpriester geheiratet hat, darf von der Weihegabe der heiligen Gaben nichts genießen.
13 But if the priest’s daughter shall be a widow, or divorced, and shall have no child, and have returned to her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s food: but there shall no stranger eat of it.
Dagegen eine Priestertochter, die Witwe ist oder verstoßen und kinderlos und wieder in ihr Vaterhaus zurückkehrt, wie in der ledigen Zeit, darf von der Speise ihres Vaters essen. Ein Unzugehöriger darf aber nicht davon essen.
14 And if a man shall eat of the holy thing unknowingly, then he shall put to it the fifth part, and shall give it to the priest with the holy thing.
Wenn jemand aus Versehen Geheiligtes ißt, so lege er ein Fünftel des Betrages darauf und gebe es dem Priester samt der heiligen Gabe!
15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to the LORD;
Sie sollen nicht entweihen der Israeliten heilige Gaben, die sie dem Herrn als Weihegabe darbringen!
16 Or allow them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD sanctifieth them.
Sonst würden sie ihnen Schuldverfehlungen aufladen, wenn sie ihre heiligen Gaben essen. Denn ich, der Herr, bin es, der sie heiligt.'"
17 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:
18 Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, Whoever of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer to the LORD for a burnt offering;
"Sprich zu Aaron, seinen Söhnen und zu allen Israeliten und sage zu ihnen: 'Bringt vom Hause Israels oder von den Fremdlingen in Israel jemand sein Opfer dar, sei es versprochen oder freiwillig, das er dem Herrn als Brandopfer darbringen will,
19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the cattle, of the sheep, or of the goats.
so sei es zu eurer Begnadigung ein fehlerloses männliches Tier von Rindern, Lämmern oder Ziegen!
20 But whatever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
Was einen Makel an sich hat, dürft ihr nicht darbringen. Es würde euch nicht zur Begnadigung sein.
21 And whoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in cattle or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be in it no blemish.
Will jemand dem Herrn ein Dankopfer darbringen, als besonderes Opfer für Gelobtes oder als freiwillige Gabe von Rindern oder Schafen, so sei es für die Begnadigung fehlerlos! Keinen Makel darf es an sich haben.
22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a running sore, or eczema, or scabs, ye shall not offer these to the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar to the LORD.
Was blind ist oder gebrochen oder verstümmelt oder geschwürig oder krätzig oder grindig, das dürft ihr dem Herrn nicht darbringen und nicht als Mahl für den Herrn auf den Altar legen.
23 Either a bull or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
Ein Rind oder ein Schaf, überdeckt oder verkrüppelt, darfst du als freie Gabe herrichten. Aber als Gelübdeopfer wird es nicht angerechnet.
24 Ye shall not offer to the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering of it in your land.
Zerquetschtes oder Zerstoßenes oder Abgerissenes oder Verschnittenes dürft ihr dem Herrn nicht darbringen. Ihr dürft in eurem Lande solches nicht machen.
25 Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes are in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
Auch von Ausländern dürft ihr nichts von alledem als Speise eures Gottes darbringen. Ihr Verderb ist an ihnen. Gebrest ist daran. Solches wird euch nicht angerechnet.'"
26 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Und der Herr redete zu Moses also:
27 When a bull, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day on it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire to the LORD.
"Wenn ein Rind, ein Lamm oder ein Zicklein geworfen wird, soll es sieben Tage unter seiner Mutter sein! Vom achten Tage ab und weiterhin kann es als Opfer, als Mahl für den Herrn, angesehen werden.
28 And whether it is cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.
Ihr dürft weder Rind noch Schaf an einem Tag mit seinem Jungen schlachten.
29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it at your own will.
Wollt ihr dem Herrn ein Lobesopfer opfern, so sollt ihr es zu eurer Begnadigung opfern!
30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the next morning: I am the LORD.
Am selben Tage noch werde es gegessen! Ihr dürft davon nichts bis zum Morgen übriglassen! Ich bin der Herr.
31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
Beachtet meine Vorschriften! Tut sie! Ich bin der Herr.
32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD who doth hallow you,
Ihr sollt nicht meinen heiligen Namen entweihen! Ich will geheiligt sein bei den Söhnen Israels. Ich, der Herr, bin es, der euch heiligt,
33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
der euch aus dem Ägypterland geführt, um euch Gott zu sein. Ich bin der Herr."
