Judges 2
1 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to depart from Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
၁ထာဝရဘုရား၏ တမန်တော်သည်၊ ဂိလဂါလမြို့မှ ဗောခိမ်မြို့သို့ လာ၍၊ သင်တို့ ဘိုးဘေးတို့အား ငါကျိန်ဆိုသော ပြည်သို့ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ သင်တို့ကို ငါဆောင်ခဲ့ပြီ။ သင်တို့နှင့် ငါဖွဲ့သော ပဋိညာဉ်ကို ငါမဖျက်အစဉ်အမြဲစောင့်မည်။
2 And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?
၂သင်တို့သည် ဤပြည်သားတို့နှင့် မိဿဟာယမဖွဲ့ရ။ သူတို့ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်တို့ကို လှဲချရမည်ဟု ငါ ဆိုသော်လည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့စကားကို နားမထောင်ကြ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ ပြုကြသနည်း။
3 Therefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you.
၃တဖန် ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ ဤပြည်သားတို့ကို သင်တို့ရှေ့မှ ငါမနှင်ထုတ်။ သူတို့သည် သင်တို့ တဘက်၌ မုဆိုးလုပ်လျက်၊ သူတို့ဘုရားတို့သည်လည်း သင်တို့၌ ကျော့ကွင်းဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
4 And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spoke these words to all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
၄ထာဝရဘုရား၏ တမန်တော်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့အား ဤသို့ မိန့်တော်မူသောအခါ၊ လူများတို့သည် အသံကို လွှင့်၍ ငိုကြွေးကြ၏။
5 And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there to the LORD.
၅ထိုအရပ်ကို ဗောခိမ်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်၍ ထာဝရဘုရားအား ယဇ်ပူဇော်ကြ၏။
6 And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man to his inheritance to possess the land.
၆အထက်က ယောရှုသည် လူများတို့ကို လွှတ်လိုက်သောအခါ၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အသီးအသီး မိမိတို့အမွေခံရာမြေကို သိမ်းယူခြင်းငှါ သွားကြ၏။
7 And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.
၇ယောရှုလက်ထက်ကာလပတ်လုံး၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ဝတ်ပြုကြ၏။ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးအဘို့ ပြုတော်မူသော အမှုကြီးအလုံးစုံတို့ကို သိမြင်၍၊ ယောရှုမရှိသောနောက် အသက်ရှင်သေးသော အသက်ကြီးသူတို့လက်ထက်၌လည်း ထာဝရဘုရားကို ဝတ်ပြုကြ၏။
8 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
၈ထာဝရဘုရား၏ကျွန်၊ နုန်၏သား ယောရှုသည် အသက်တရာတဆယ်ရှိသော် အနိစ္စရောက်လေ၏။
9 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash.
၉ဧဖရိမ်တောင်ပေါ်၊ ဂါရှကုန်းမြောက်မှာရှိသော သူ၏အမွေခံရာ တိမနဿေရမြို့နယ်မြေ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြ၏။
10 And also all that generation were gathered to their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.
၁၀ယောရှုလက်ထက်ကာလ၌ ဖြစ်သော သူအပေါင်းတို့သည်လည်း၊ ဘိုးဘေးတို့ စုဝေးရာသို့ ရောက်ကြ ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို၎င်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးအဘို့ ပြုတော်မူသော အမှုတို့ကို၎င်း မသိသော နောင်ကာလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ပေါ်လာကြ၏။
11 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:
၁၁ထိုကာလအခါ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြု၍ ဗာလဘုရားတို့ကို ဝတ်ပြုကြ၏။
12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were around them, and bowed themselves to them, and provoked the LORD to anger.
၁၂အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ သူတို့ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့တော်မူသော ဘိုးဘေးတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို စွန့်၍၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်၌ရှိသော လူမျိုးတို့၏ ဘုရားတပါးတို့နောက်သို့ လိုက်လျက် ဦးညွှတ်သဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရား အမျက်တော်ကို ထွက်စေကြ၏။
13 And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.
၁၃ထာဝရဘုရားကို စွန့်၍ ဗာလဘုရား၊ အာရှတရက်ဘုရားတို့ကို ဝတ်ပြုကြသောကြောင့်၊
14 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.
၁၄ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌ ပြင်းစွာ အမျက်ထွက်လျက်၊ လုယူသော သူတို့လက်သို့ အပ်၍၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်သော ရန်သူတို့၌ ရောင်းတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ရန်သူတို့ ရှေ့မှာ သူတို့သည် တဖန် မရပ်နိုင်ကြ။
15 Wherever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn to them: and they were greatly distressed.
၁၅သူတို့သည် ထွက်သွားလေရာရာ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်မြွက်ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ လက်တော် အဆီးအတားနှင့် တွေ့၍ အလွန်ဆင်းရဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။
16 Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, who delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.
၁၆သို့ရာတွင် လုယူသော သူတို့လက်မှ ကယ်လွှတ်သော တရားသူကြီးတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ပေါ်ထွန်း စေတော်မူ၏။
17 And yet they would not hearken to their judges, but they played the harlot with other gods, and bowed themselves to them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so.
၁၇ထိုတရားသူကြီးတို့ စကားကိုလည်း သူတို့သည် နားမထောင်၊ အခြားတပါးသော ဘုရားတို့နှင့် မှားယွင်း၍ ဦးညွှတ်ကြ၏။ ဘိုးဘေးတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပညတ်တော်တို့ကို ကျင့်၍ လိုက်သော လမ်းမှ သူတို့သည် အလျင်အမြန်လွဲသွားသဖြင့်၊ ဘိုးဘေးကျင့်သည်အတိုင်း မကျင့်ကြ။
18 And when the LORD raised up judges for them, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for the LORD repented because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and burdened them.
၁၈ထာဝရဘုရားသည် တရားသူကြီးကို ပေါ်ထွန်းစေသောအခါ သူနှင့်အတူရှိ၍၊ သူ့လက်ထက် ပတ်လုံး ဣသရေလလူတို့ကို ရန်သူ၏လက်မှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား သူတို့သည် နှောင့်ရှက်ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရ၍ မြည်တမ်းကြသောအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် နောင်တရတော်မူ၏။
19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down to them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.
၁၉တရားသူကြီး သေသောနောက်၊ သူတို့သည် တဖန်ဘိုးဘေးထက်သာ၍ ဆိုးသဖြင့်၊ အခြားတပါးသော ဘုရားတို့နောက်သို့ လိုက်လျက် ဝတ်ပြု၍ ဦးညွှတ်ကြ၏။ မိမိတို့ အကျင့်ဓလေ့နှင့် ကြမ်းတမ်းသော လမ်းကို မစွန့်မပယ်ကြ။
20 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened to my voice;
၂၀ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌ ပြင်းစွာ အမျက်ထွက်လျက်၊ ဤလူတို့သည် ငါ့စကားကို နားမထောင်။ သူတို့ ဘိုးဘေးတို့နှင့် ငါဖွဲ့သော ပဋိညာဉ်ကို ဖျက်သောကြောင့်၊
21 I also will not henceforth drive out from before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died:
၂၁ယောရှုသေသောနောက် ကျန်ကြွင်းရစ်သော လူမျိုးတစုံတမျိုးကို သူတို့ရှေ့မှ နောက်တဖန် ငါမနှင်ထုတ်။
22 That through them I may test Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk in it, as their fathers kept it, or not.
၂၂သူတို့ ဘိုးဘေးတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏လမ်းတော်သို့ လိုက်ခြင်းငှါ စောင့်ရှောက်သကဲ့သို့ သူတို့သည် စောင့်ရှောက်မည်လော၊ မစောင့်ရှောက်လောဟု ကျန်သေးသော လူမျိုးအားဖြင့် ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို ငါစုံစမ်းမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ၊
23 Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out speedily; neither did he deliver them into the hand of Joshua.
၂၃ထိုလူမျိုးကို ယောရှုလက်၌ မအပ် အလျင်အမြန် မနှင်ထုတ်ဘဲ နေတော်မူ၏။
