John 6
1 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
తతః పరం యీశు ర్గాలీల్ ప్రదేశీయస్య తివిరియానామ్నః సిన్ధోః పారం గతవాన్|
2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he performed on them that were diseased.
తతో వ్యాధిమల్లోకస్వాస్థ్యకరణరూపాణి తస్యాశ్చర్య్యాణి కర్మ్మాణి దృష్ట్వా బహవో జనాస్తత్పశ్చాద్ అగచ్ఛన్|
3 And Jesus went up on a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
తతో యీశుః పర్వ్వతమారుహ్య తత్ర శిష్యైః సాకమ్|
4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.
తస్మిన్ సమయ నిస్తారోత్సవనామ్ని యిహూదీయానామ ఉత్సవ ఉపస్థితే
5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come to him, he saith to Philip, Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
యీశు ర్నేత్రే ఉత్తోల్య బహులోకాన్ స్వసమీపాగతాన్ విలోక్య ఫిలిపం పృష్టవాన్ ఏతేషాం భోజనాయ భోజద్రవ్యాణి వయం కుత్ర క్రేతుం శక్రుమః?
6 And this he said to test him: for he himself knew what he would do.
వాక్యమిదం తస్య పరీక్షార్థమ్ అవాదీత్ కిన్తు యత్ కరిష్యతి తత్ స్వయమ్ అజానాత్|
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
ఫిలిపః ప్రత్యవోచత్ ఏతేషామ్ ఏకైకో యద్యల్పమ్ అల్పం ప్రాప్నోతి తర్హి ముద్రాపాదద్విశతేన క్రీతపూపా అపి న్యూనా భవిష్యన్తి|
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith to him,
శిమోన్ పితరస్య భ్రాతా ఆన్ద్రియాఖ్యః శిష్యాణామేకో వ్యాహృతవాన్
9 There is a lad here, who hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
అత్ర కస్యచిద్ బాలకస్య సమీపే పఞ్చ యావపూపాః క్షుద్రమత్స్యద్వయఞ్చ సన్తి కిన్తు లోకానాం ఏతావాతాం మధ్యే తైః కిం భవిష్యతి?
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
పశ్చాద్ యీశురవదత్ లోకానుపవేశయత తత్ర బహుయవససత్త్వాత్ పఞ్చసహస్త్రేభ్యో న్యూనా అధికా వా పురుషా భూమ్యామ్ ఉపావిశన్|
11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were sitting down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
తతో యీశుస్తాన్ పూపానాదాయ ఈశ్వరస్య గుణాన్ కీర్త్తయిత్వా శిష్యేషు సమార్పయత్ తతస్తే తేభ్య ఉపవిష్టలోకేభ్యః పూపాన్ యథేష్టమత్స్యఞ్చ ప్రాదుః|
12 When they were filled, he said to his disciples, Gather the fragments that remain, that nothing may be lost.
తేషు తృప్తేషు స తానవోచద్ ఏతేషాం కిఞ్చిదపి యథా నాపచీయతే తథా సర్వ్వాణ్యవశిష్టాని సంగృహ్లీత|
13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above to them that had eaten.
తతః సర్వ్వేషాం భోజనాత్ పరం తే తేషాం పఞ్చానాం యావపూపానాం అవశిష్టాన్యఖిలాని సంగృహ్య ద్వాదశడల్లకాన్ అపూరయన్|
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus performed, said, This is truly that prophet that should come into the world.
అపరం యీశోరేతాదృశీమ్ ఆశ్చర్య్యక్రియాం దృష్ట్వా లోకా మిథో వక్తుమారేభిరే జగతి యస్యాగమనం భవిష్యతి స ఏవాయమ్ అవశ్యం భవిష్యద్వక్త్తా|
15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again to a mountain himself alone.
అతఏవ లోకా ఆగత్య తమాక్రమ్య రాజానం కరిష్యన్తి యీశుస్తేషామ్ ఈదృశం మానసం విజ్ఞాయ పునశ్చ పర్వ్వతమ్ ఏకాకీ గతవాన్|
16 And when evening had now come, his disciples went down to the sea,
సాయంకాల ఉపస్థితే శిష్యా జలధితటం వ్రజిత్వా నావమారుహ్య నగరదిశి సిన్ధౌ వాహయిత్వాగమన్|
17 And entered into a boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.
తస్మిన్ సమయే తిమిర ఉపాతిష్ఠత్ కిన్తు యీషుస్తేషాం సమీపం నాగచ్ఛత్|
18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.
తదా ప్రబలపవనవహనాత్ సాగరే మహాతరఙ్గో భవితుమ్ ఆరేభే|
19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the boat: and they were afraid.
తతస్తే వాహయిత్వా ద్విత్రాన్ క్రోశాన్ గతాః పశ్చాద్ యీశుం జలధేరుపరి పద్భ్యాం వ్రజన్తం నౌకాన్తికమ్ ఆగచ్ఛన్తం విలోక్య త్రాసయుక్తా అభవన్
20 But he saith to them, It is I; be not afraid.
కిన్తు స తానుక్త్తవాన్ అయమహం మా భైష్ట|
21 Then they willingly received him into the boat: and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
తదా తే తం స్వైరం నావి గృహీతవన్తః తదా తత్క్షణాద్ ఉద్దిష్టస్థానే నౌరుపాస్థాత్|
22 The day following, when the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one into which his disciples had entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples had gone away alone;
యయా నావా శిష్యా అగచ్ఛన్ తదన్యా కాపి నౌకా తస్మిన్ స్థానే నాసీత్ తతో యీశుః శిష్యైః సాకం నాగమత్ కేవలాః శిష్యా అగమన్ ఏతత్ పారస్థా లోకా జ్ఞాతవన్తః|
23 ( However there came other boats from Tiberias near to the place where they ate bread, after the Lord had given thanks: )
కిన్తు తతః పరం ప్రభు ర్యత్ర ఈశ్వరస్య గుణాన్ అనుకీర్త్త్య లోకాన్ పూపాన్ అభోజయత్ తత్స్థానస్య సమీపస్థతివిరియాయా అపరాస్తరణయ ఆగమన్|
24 When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
యీశుస్తత్ర నాస్తి శిష్యా అపి తత్ర నా సన్తి లోకా ఇతి విజ్ఞాయ యీశుం గవేషయితుం తరణిభిః కఫర్నాహూమ్ పురం గతాః|
25 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, Rabbi, when camest thou here?
తతస్తే సరిత్పతేః పారే తం సాక్షాత్ ప్రాప్య ప్రావోచన్ హే గురో భవాన్ అత్ర స్థానే కదాగమత్?
26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say to you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye ate of the loaves, and were filled.
తదా యీశుస్తాన్ ప్రత్యవాదీద్ యుష్మానహం యథార్థతరం వదామి ఆశ్చర్య్యకర్మ్మదర్శనాద్ధేతో ర్న కిన్తు పూపభోజనాత్ తేన తృప్తత్వాఞ్చ మాం గవేషయథ|
27 Labour not for the food which perisheth, but for that food which endureth to everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give to you: for him hath God the Father sealed. (aiōnios g166)
క్షయణీయభక్ష్యార్థం మా శ్రామిష్ట కిన్త్వన్తాయుర్భక్ష్యార్థం శ్రామ్యత, తస్మాత్ తాదృశం భక్ష్యం మనుజపుత్రో యుష్మాభ్యం దాస్యతి; తస్మిన్ తాత ఈశ్వరః ప్రమాణం ప్రాదాత్| (aiōnios g166)
28 Then said they to him, What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?
తదా తేఽపృచ్ఛన్ ఈశ్వరాభిమతం కర్మ్మ కర్త్తుమ్ అస్మాభిః కిం కర్త్తవ్యం?
29 Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
తతో యీశురవదద్ ఈశ్వరో యం ప్రైరయత్ తస్మిన్ విశ్వసనమ్ ఈశ్వరాభిమతం కర్మ్మ|
30 They said therefore to him, What sign showest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
తదా తే వ్యాహరన్ భవతా కిం లక్షణం దర్శితం యద్దృష్ట్వా భవతి విశ్వసిష్యామః? త్వయా కిం కర్మ్మ కృతం?
31 Our fathers ate manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
అస్మాకం పూర్వ్వపురుషా మహాప్రాన్తరే మాన్నాం భోక్త్తుం ప్రాపుః యథా లిపిరాస్తే| స్వర్గీయాణి తు భక్ష్యాణి ప్రదదౌ పరమేశ్వరః|
32 Then Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
తదా యీశురవదద్ అహం యుష్మానతియథార్థం వదామి మూసా యుష్మాభ్యం స్వర్గీయం భక్ష్యం నాదాత్ కిన్తు మమ పితా యుష్మాభ్యం స్వర్గీయం పరమం భక్ష్యం దదాతి|
33 For the bread of God is he who cometh down from heaven, and giveth life to the world.
యః స్వర్గాదవరుహ్య జగతే జీవనం దదాతి స ఈశ్వరదత్తభక్ష్యరూపః|
34 Then said they to him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
తదా తే ప్రావోచన్ హే ప్రభో భక్ష్యమిదం నిత్యమస్మభ్యం దదాతు|
35 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
యీశురవదద్ అహమేవ జీవనరూపం భక్ష్యం యో జనో మమ సన్నిధిమ్ ఆగచ్ఛతి స జాతు క్షుధార్త్తో న భవిష్యతి, తథా యో జనో మాం ప్రత్యేతి స జాతు తృషార్త్తో న భవిష్యతి|
36 But I said to you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
మాం దృష్ట్వాపి యూయం న విశ్వసిథ యుష్మానహమ్ ఇత్యవోచం|
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will by no means cast out.
పితా మహ్యం యావతో లోకానదదాత్ తే సర్వ్వ ఏవ మమాన్తికమ్ ఆగమిష్యన్తి యః కశ్చిచ్చ మమ సన్నిధిమ్ ఆయాస్యతి తం కేనాపి ప్రకారేణ న దూరీకరిష్యామి|
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
నిజాభిమతం సాధయితుం న హి కిన్తు ప్రేరయితురభిమతం సాధయితుం స్వర్గాద్ ఆగతోస్మి|
39 And this is the Father’s will who hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise them up again at the last day.
స యాన్ యాన్ లోకాన్ మహ్యమదదాత్ తేషామేకమపి న హారయిత్వా శేషదినే సర్వ్వానహమ్ ఉత్థాపయామి ఇదం మత్ప్రేరయితుః పితురభిమతం|
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
యః కశ్చిన్ మానవసుతం విలోక్య విశ్వసితి స శేషదినే మయోత్థాపితః సన్ అనన్తాయుః ప్రాప్స్యతి ఇతి మత్ప్రేరకస్యాభిమతం| (aiōnios g166)
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
తదా స్వర్గాద్ యద్ భక్ష్యమ్ అవారోహత్ తద్ భక్ష్యమ్ అహమేవ యిహూదీయలోకాస్తస్యైతద్ వాక్యే వివదమానా వక్త్తుమారేభిరే
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
యూషఫః పుత్రో యీశు ర్యస్య మాతాపితరౌ వయం జానీమ ఏష కిం సఏవ న? తర్హి స్వర్గాద్ అవారోహమ్ ఇతి వాక్యం కథం వక్త్తి?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Murmur not among yourselves.
తదా యీశుస్తాన్ ప్రత్యవదత్ పరస్పరం మా వివదధ్వం
44 No man can come to me, except the Father who hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
మత్ప్రేరకేణ పిత్రా నాకృష్టః కోపి జనో మమాన్తికమ్ ఆయాతుం న శక్నోతి కిన్త్వాగతం జనం చరమేఽహ్ని ప్రోత్థాపయిష్యామి|
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught from God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned from the Father, cometh to me.
తే సర్వ్వ ఈశ్వరేణ శిక్షితా భవిష్యన్తి భవిష్యద్వాదినాం గ్రన్థేషు లిపిరిత్థమాస్తే అతో యః కశ్చిత్ పితుః సకాశాత్ శ్రుత్వా శిక్షతే స ఏవ మమ సమీపమ్ ఆగమిష్యతి|
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, except he who is from God, he hath seen the Father.
య ఈశ్వరాద్ అజాయత తం వినా కోపి మనుష్యో జనకం నాదర్శత్ కేవలః సఏవ తాతమ్ అద్రాక్షీత్|
అహం యుష్మాన్ యథార్థతరం వదామి యో జనో మయి విశ్వాసం కరోతి సోనన్తాయుః ప్రాప్నోతి| (aiōnios g166)
48 I am that bread of life.
అహమేవ తజ్జీవనభక్ష్యం|
49 Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
యుష్మాకం పూర్వ్వపురుషా మహాప్రాన్తరే మన్నాభక్ష్యం భూక్త్తాపి మృతాః
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat of it, and not die.
కిన్తు యద్భక్ష్యం స్వర్గాదాగచ్ఛత్ తద్ యది కశ్చిద్ భుఙ్క్త్తే తర్హి స న మ్రియతే|
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man shall eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (aiōn g165)
యజ్జీవనభక్ష్యం స్వర్గాదాగచ్ఛత్ సోహమేవ ఇదం భక్ష్యం యో జనో భుఙ్క్త్తే స నిత్యజీవీ భవిష్యతి| పునశ్చ జగతో జీవనార్థమహం యత్ స్వకీయపిశితం దాస్యామి తదేవ మయా వితరితం భక్ష్యమ్| (aiōn g165)
52 The Jews therefore began to dispute among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
తస్మాద్ యిహూదీయాః పరస్పరం వివదమానా వక్త్తుమారేభిరే ఏష భోజనార్థం స్వీయం పలలం కథమ్ అస్మభ్యం దాస్యతి?
53 Then Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
తదా యీశుస్తాన్ ఆవోచద్ యుష్మానహం యథార్థతరం వదామి మనుష్యపుత్రస్యామిషే యుష్మాభి ర్న భుక్త్తే తస్య రుధిరే చ న పీతే జీవనేన సార్ద్ధం యుష్మాకం సమ్బన్ధో నాస్తి|
54 Whoever eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
యో మమామిషం స్వాదతి మమ సుధిరఞ్చ పివతి సోనన్తాయుః ప్రాప్నోతి తతః శేషేఽహ్ని తమహమ్ ఉత్థాపయిష్యామి| (aiōnios g166)
55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
యతో మదీయమామిషం పరమం భక్ష్యం తథా మదీయం శోణితం పరమం పేయం|
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
యో జనో మదీయం పలలం స్వాదతి మదీయం రుధిరఞ్చ పివతి స మయి వసతి తస్మిన్నహఞ్చ వసామి|
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
మత్ప్రేరయిత్రా జీవతా తాతేన యథాహం జీవామి తద్వద్ యః కశ్చిన్ మామత్తి సోపి మయా జీవిష్యతి|
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers ate manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. (aiōn g165)
యద్భక్ష్యం స్వర్గాదాగచ్ఛత్ తదిదం యన్మాన్నాం స్వాదిత్వా యుష్మాకం పితరోఽమ్రియన్త తాదృశమ్ ఇదం భక్ష్యం న భవతి ఇదం భక్ష్యం యో భక్షతి స నిత్యం జీవిష్యతి| (aiōn g165)
59 These things he said in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
యదా కఫర్నాహూమ్ పుర్య్యాం భజనగేహే ఉపాదిశత్ తదా కథా ఏతా అకథయత్|
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
తదేత్థం శ్రుత్వా తస్య శిష్యాణామ్ అనేకే పరస్పరమ్ అకథయన్ ఇదం గాఢం వాక్యం వాక్యమీదృశం కః శ్రోతుం శక్రుయాత్?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said to them, Doth this offend you?
కిన్తు యీశుః శిష్యాణామ్ ఇత్థం వివాదం స్వచిత్తే విజ్ఞాయ కథితవాన్ ఇదం వాక్యం కిం యుష్మాకం విఘ్నం జనయతి?
62 What if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
యది మనుజసుతం పూర్వ్వవాసస్థానమ్ ఊర్ద్వ్వం గచ్ఛన్తం పశ్యథ తర్హి కిం భవిష్యతి?
63 It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.
ఆత్మైవ జీవనదాయకః వపు ర్నిష్ఫలం యుష్మభ్యమహం యాని వచాంసి కథయామి తాన్యాత్మా జీవనఞ్చ|
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who he was that would betray him.
కిన్తు యుష్మాకం మధ్యే కేచన అవిశ్వాసినః సన్తి కే కే న విశ్వసన్తి కో వా తం పరకరేషు సమర్పయిష్యతి తాన్ యీశురాప్రథమాద్ వేత్తి|
65 And he said, Therefore I said to you, that no man can come to me, except it were given to him by my Father.
అపరమపి కథితవాన్ అస్మాత్ కారణాద్ అకథయం పితుః సకాశాత్ శక్త్తిమప్రాప్య కోపి మమాన్తికమ్ ఆగన్తుం న శక్నోతి|
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
తత్కాలేఽనేకే శిష్యా వ్యాఘుట్య తేన సార్ద్ధం పున ర్నాగచ్ఛన్|
67 Then said Jesus to the twelve, Will ye also go away?
తదా యీశు ర్ద్వాదశశిష్యాన్ ఉక్త్తవాన్ యూయమపి కిం యాస్యథ?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
తతః శిమోన్ పితరః ప్రత్యవోచత్ హే ప్రభో కస్యాభ్యర్ణం గమిష్యామః? (aiōnios g166)
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
అనన్తజీవనదాయిన్యో యాః కథాస్తాస్తవైవ| భవాన్ అమరేశ్వరస్యాభిషిక్త్తపుత్ర ఇతి విశ్వస్య నిశ్చితం జానీమః|
70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
తదా యీశురవదత్ కిమహం యుష్మాకం ద్వాదశజనాన్ మనోనీతాన్ న కృతవాన్? కిన్తు యుష్మాకం మధ్యేపి కశ్చిదేకో విఘ్నకారీ విద్యతే|
71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for it was he that was to betray him, being one of the twelve.
ఇమాం కథం స శిమోనః పుత్రమ్ ఈష్కరీయోతీయం యిహూదామ్ ఉద్దిశ్య కథితవాన్ యతో ద్వాదశానాం మధ్యే గణితః స తం పరకరేషు సమర్పయిష్యతి|
