Job 39
1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?
“ಕಾಡುಮೇಕೆಗಳು ಈಯುವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವೆಯಾ? ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರುವೆಯಾ?
2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
ಅವುಗಳ ಗರ್ಭ ತುಂಬುವ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿರುವೆಯಾ? ಅವು ಈಯುವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಿಯೋ?
3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.
ಅವು ಬಗ್ಗಿ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುತ್ತವೆ; ಅದರ ಪ್ರಸವ ವೇದನೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುತ್ತವೆ.
4 Their young ones are become strong, they grow strong with grain; they go forth, and return not to them.
ಅವುಗಳ ಮರಿಗಳು ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವು ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
5 Who hath sent out the wild donkey free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild donkey?
“ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಗೆ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು? ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.
ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ನಾನೇ. ಸವಳುಬಯಲನ್ನು ಅದರ ವಾಸ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಾನೇ.
7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನು ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದು ಓಡಿಸುವವನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ಮೇವು; ಹಸುರಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವುದು.
9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
“ಕಾಡುಕೋಣವು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿದೆಯೆ? ಅದು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಗೋದಲಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆಯೆ?
10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
ಕಾಡುಕೋಣವನ್ನು ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ನೇಗಿಲ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವೆಯಾ? ಅದು ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಕುಂಟೆ ಎಳೆಯುವುದೆ?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
ಅದರ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿರುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ಭಾರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆಯಾ?
12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?
ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ಧಾನ್ಯ ತೆನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ತರುವುದೆಂದು ನಂಬುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಳು ಕೂಡಿಸುವದೆಂದೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆಯಾ?
13 Gavest thou the goodly wings to the peacocks? or wings and feathers to the ostrich?
“ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಕೊಕ್ಕರೆಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಗರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾಗದು.
14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in the dust,
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಕೇವಲ ಮರಳಿನಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾವು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
ಜನರು ಕಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಯಾರು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದೀತು ಎಂಬ ಚಿಂತೆ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;
ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನವುಗಳಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
17 Because God hath withheld wisdom from her, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಷ್ಟೆ.
18 When she lifteth herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.
ಆದರೂ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ ಓಡಿದಾಗ, ಅದು ಕುದುರೆ ಸವಾರನನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೋಡಿ ಅಣಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
“ಯೋಬನೇ, ಕುದುರೆಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟವನು ನೀನೋ? ಅದರ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಜುಟ್ಟುಗುಡುಗನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿದವನು ನೀನೋ?
20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.
ಮಿಡತೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಾರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ನೀನೋ? ಅದರ ಕೆನೆತದ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ?
21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.
ಕುದುರೆಯು ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಕೆರೆಯುತ್ತಾ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಸನ್ನದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಹೊರಡುತ್ತದೆ.
22 He mocketh at fear, and is not dismayed; neither turneth he back from the sword.
ಭಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ನಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹ ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.
ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯೂ, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವ ಭಲ್ಲೆಯೂ, ಭರ್ಜಿಯೂ ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
ಕುದುರೆ ಕಹಳೆಯ ನಾದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ಭೀಕರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲನುಂಗುವಂತೆ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಓಡುತ್ತದೆ.
25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
ರಣಕಹಳೆ ಮೊಳಗಿದಾಗ ಕುದುರೆ ಕೆನೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಗರ್ಜನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಾಳಗದ ಆರ್ಭಟವನ್ನೂ ದೂರದಿಂದಲೇ ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
“ಯೋಬನೇ, ಗಿಡುಗವು ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹಾರುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದಲೋ?
27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?
ರಣಹದ್ದು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾರುವುದೂ, ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೂಡುಕಟ್ಟುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಂದಲೋ?
28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.
ಅದು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಸಂದುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಶಿಲಾಶಿಖರದ ದುರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದು ತಂಗುತ್ತದೆ.
29 From there she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೇ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ದೂರದಿಂದಲೇ ನೋಡುತ್ತವೆ.
30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.
ಅದರ ಮರಿಗಳು ತಂದ ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಹೆಣ ಬಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಣಹದ್ದು ಇರುವುದು.”
