Job 28
1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they refine it.
౧వెండికి గని ఉంది. బంగారం పుటం వేసే స్థలం ఉంది.
2 Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is melted out of the stone.
౨ఇనుమును భూమిలోనుండి తీస్తారు. రాళ్లు కరగించి రాగి తీస్తారు.
3 He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
౩మనిషి చీకటిని అంతమొందిస్తాడు. సుదూర స్థలాల్లో అన్వేషిస్తాడు. గాఢాంధకారంలో అంతు తెలియని తావుల్లో విలువైన రాళ్ళను వెతుకుతాడు.
4 The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten by the foot: they are dried up, they have gone away from men.
౪మనుషుల నివాసాలకు, మనిషి పాదాలు సంచరించే స్థలాలకు దూరంగా అతడు సొరంగం తవ్వుతాడు. అక్కడ అతడు మానవులకు దూరంగా ఇటు అటు తిరుగులాడుతుంటాడు.
5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
౫భూమి విషయానికొస్తే అందులోనుండి ఆహారం పుడుతుంది. భూగర్భం అగ్నిమయం.
6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.
౬దాని రాళ్లు నీలరతనాల పుట్టిల్లు. దాని ధూళిలో బంగారం ఉంది.
7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
౭వేటాడే ఏ పక్షికైనా ఆ దారి తెలియదు. డేగ కళ్ళు దాన్ని చూడలేదు.
8 The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
౮గర్వంగా సంచరించే మృగాలు ఆ దారి తొక్కలేదు. క్రూర సింహం ఆ దారిలో నడవలేదు.
9 He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.
౯మనిషి చెకుముకి రాళ్ళను పట్టుకుంటాడు. పర్వతాలను వాటి కుదుళ్లతో సహా బోర్లా పడదోస్తాడు.
10 He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
౧౦శిలల్లో అతడు కాలువలు ఏర్పరుస్తాడు. అతని కన్ను అమూల్యమైన ప్రతి వస్తువును చూస్తుంది.
11 He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid he bringeth forth to light.
౧౧నీళ్లు పొర్లి పోకుండా జలధారలకు ఆనకట్ట కడతాడు. అగోచరమైన వాటిని అతడు వెలుగులోకి తెస్తాడు.
12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
౧౨అయితే జ్ఞానం ఎక్కడ దొరుకుతుంది? వివేచన దొరికే స్థలం ఎక్కడ ఉంది?
13 Man knoweth not the price of it; neither is it found in the land of the living.
౧౩మనిషికి దాని విలువ తెలియదు. ప్రాణులున్న దేశంలో అది దొరకదు.
14 The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
౧౪అగాధం “అది నాలో లేదు” అంటుంది. “నా దగ్గర లేదు” అని సముద్రం అంటుంది.
15 It cannot be obtained for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price of it.
౧౫బంగారం దానికి సాటి కాదు. దాని వెల కట్టడానికి వెండిని తూచడం పనికి రాదు.
16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
౧౬అది ఓఫీరు బంగారంతోగానీ ప్రశస్తమైన గోమేధికంతో, నీలంతోగానీ కొనగలిగింది కాదు.
17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
౧౭సువర్ణమైనా స్ఫటికమైనా దానితో సాటిరావు. ప్రశస్తమైన బంగారు నగలు ఇచ్చి దాన్ని తీసుకోలేము.
18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
౧౮పగడాల, ముత్యాల పేర్లు దాని ఎదుట అసలు ఎత్తకూడదు. నిజంగా జ్ఞానానికున్న విలువ కెంపుల కన్నా గొప్పది.
19 The topaz of Cush shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
౧౯కూషు దేశపు పుష్యరాగం దానికి సాటి రాదు. మేలిమి బంగారంతో దానికి వెల కట్టలేము.
20 Where then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
౨౦అలాగైతే జ్ఞానం ఎక్కడనుండి వస్తుంది? వివేచన దొరికే స్థలం ఎక్కడ ఉంది?
21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
౨౧అది జీవులందరి కన్నులకు కనిపించదు. ఆకాశ పక్షులకు అది అగమ్యగోచరం.
22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame of it with our ears.
౨౨“మేము మా చెవులతో దాన్ని గురించి విన్నాము” అని నాశనం, మరణం అంటాయి.
23 God understandeth the way of it, and he knoweth its place.
౨౩దేవుడే దాని మార్గాన్ని గ్రహిస్తాడు. దాని స్థలం ఆయనకే తెలుసు.
24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
౨౪ఆయన భూమి కొనల వరకూ చూస్తున్నాడు. ఆకాశం కింద ఉన్న దానినంతటినీ చూస్తున్నాడు.
25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
౨౫గాలికి ఇంత వేగం ఉండాలని ఆయన నియమించినప్పుడు, జలరాసుల కొలత నిర్ణయించినప్పుడు,
26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
౨౬వర్షానికి అదుపాజ్ఞలు ఏర్పరచినప్పుడు, ఉరుము మెరుపులకు దోవ చూపినప్పుడు,
27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
౨౭ఆయన జ్ఞానాన్ని చూసి దాన్ని ప్రకటించాడు. దాన్ని స్థాపించి దాన్ని పరిశోధించాడు.
28 And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
౨౮యెహోవా పట్ల భయభక్తులే జ్ఞానం, దుష్టత్వం నుండి తొలగిపోవడమే వివేకం అని ఆయన మనుషులకు చెప్పాడు.
