Job 14

1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

၁လူသည် မိန်းမဘွားသောသူဖြစ်သဖြင့်၊ အသက်တို၍ ဒုက္ခနှင့် ပြည့်စုံပါ၏။

2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

၂ပန်းပွင့်ကဲ့သို့ပွင့်၍ ရိတ်ဖြတ်ခြင်းကိုခံရပါ၏။ မတည်မရပ်ဘဲ အရိပ်ကဲ့သို့ ရွေ့သွားတတ်ပါ၏။

3 And dost thou open thy eyes upon such one, and bring me into judgment with thee?

၃ထိုသို့သောသူကို ကိုယ်တော်ကြည့်မှတ်တော်မူ သလော။ အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်ဘက်၍တရားတွေ့တော်မူမည် လော။

4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

၄မသန့်ရှင်းသောအရာထဲက သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာကို အဘယ်သူ ထုတ်ဘော်နိုင်သနည်း။ အဘယ်သူမျှ မထုတ်မဘော်နိုင်ပါ။

5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months is with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

၅လူ၏နေ့ရက်တို့ကို မှတ်သား၍၊ သူနေရသော လအရေအတွက်ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည်သိသဖြင့်၊ သူ မလွန်နိုင်သော အပိုင်းအခြားကို ထားတော်မူသော ကြောင့်၊

6 Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.

၆မျက်စိတော်ကို လွှဲ၍ လူသည်သူငှါးကဲ့သို့ မိမိ နေ့ရက်ကို လွန်စေသည်တိုင်အောင် ငြိမ်ဝပ်ရသောအခွင့် ကို ပေးတော်မူပါ။

7 For there is hope of a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender branch will not cease.

၇သစ်ပင်ကိုခုတ်သော်လည်း၊ အငုတ်အချည်း စည်းမရှိဘဲ အတက်ပေါက်လေဦးမည်ဟု မြော်လင့်စရာ ရှိ၏။

8 Though its root shall become old in the earth, and its stock die in the ground;

၈မြေထဲမှာ အမြစ်ဟောင်း၍၊ မြေပေါ်မှာ အငုတ်သေသော်လည်း၊

9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

၉ရေငွေ့ကြောင့် အတက်ပေါက်၍၊ ပျိုးပင်ကဲ့သို့ အညွန့်တို့နှင့် ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်။

10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

၁၀လူမူကားသေ၍ ဆွေးမြေ့တတ်၏။ လူသည် အသက်ချုပ်ပြီးလျှင် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။

11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:

၁၁အိုင်ရေပြတ်သကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ မြစ်ရေခန်းခြောက် သကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊

12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens shall be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

၁၂လူသည်အိပ်ပြီးမှ နောက်တဖန်မထရ။ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်မကုန် မဆုံးမှီတိုင်အောင် မနိုးရ။ အအိပ် အပျော်မပျက်ရ။

13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest conceal me, until thy wrath is past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! (Sheol h7585)

၁၃ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်း၌ ဝှက်ထားတော်မူပါစေ။ အမျက်တော်မလွန်မှီတိုင်အောင် ကွယ်ကာတော်မူပါစေ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုအောက်မေ့စရာ အချိန်ကို ချိန်းချက်တော်မူပါစေ။ (Sheol h7585)

14 If a man dieth, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change shall come.

၁၄လူသည် သေလျှင်အသက်ရှင်ပြန်ပါလိမ့်မည်လော။ အကျွန်ုပ် ပြောင်းလဲချိန်မရောက်မှီ၊ ပင်ပန်းစွာ အမှုထမ်းရသော နေ့ရက်ကာလပတ်လုံးသည်းခံလျက်နေ ပါမည်။

15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thy hands.

၁၅အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ခေါ်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြန် လျှောက်ပါမည်။ ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော အရာကို သနားခြင်း စိတ်ရှိတော်မူပါ။

16 For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

၁၆ယခုမှာ အကျွန်ုပ်ခြေရာတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည် ရေတွက်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အပြစ်တို့ကို စောင့်တော်မူ၏။

17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up my iniquity.

၁၇အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မှားခြင်းအကြောင်းအရာကို အိတ်၌တံဆိပ်ခတ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်အပေါ်မှာ အထပ်ထပ်အပြစ်တင်တော်မူ၏။

18 And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of its place.

၁၈ပြိုသောတောင်သည် ကွယ်ပျောက်တတ်ပါ၏။ ကျောက်သည်လည်း မိမိနေရာမှ ရွေ့လျော့တတ်ပါ၏။ ရေတိုက်သောကျောက်ခဲသည်လည်း ပွန်းတတ်ပါ၏။

19 The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man.

၁၉လွှမ်းမိုးသောရေနှင့်အတူ မြေမှုန့်ပါသွားတတ်ပါ၏။ ထိုအတူ ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူမြော်လင့်စရာ အကြောင်းကို ဖျက်တော်မူ၏။

20 Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.

၂၀ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူကို အစဉ်နိုင်တော်မူ၍၊ လူသည်ကွယ်ပျောက်တတ်ပါ၏။ ထူးခြားသောမျက်နှာ ကို ပေး၍ အခြားသို့ လွှတ်လိုက်တော်မူ၏။

21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.

၂၁သူ၏သားတို့သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သော်လည်း သူသည်မသိရပါ။ နှိမ့်ချခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သော် လည်း ထိုအမှုကိုပင် မရိပ်မိပါ။

22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

၂၂သို့ရာတွင် သူ၏ကိုယ်သည်ကိုက်ခဲလျက်၊ သူ၏ဝိညာဉ်သည်ညည်းတွားလျက်နေရပါသည်ဟု မြွတ်ဆို၏။
