< Jeremiah 43 >

1 And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had finished speaking to all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
Ka Jeremia notieko nyiso ji weche duto mag Jehova Nyasaye Nyasachgi, ma gin gik moko duto ma Jehova Nyasaye ne oore mondo onyisgi,
2 Then spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying to Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:
Azaria wuod Hoshaya gi Johanan wuod Karea kod chwo ma jo-jendeke duto nowachone Jeremia niya, “Iriambo! Jehova Nyasaye Nyasachwa pok oori mondo iwachnwa ni, ‘Kik udhi Misri mondo udag kuno.’
3 But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
To Baruk wuod Neria thuyi kodwa mondo ichiw-wa ne jo-Babulon, mondo ginegwa kata terowa e twech Babulon.”
4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah.
Omiyo Johanan wuod Karea kod jotend lweny duto kod ji duto ne ok oluwo chik Jehova Nyasaye mar dak e piny Juda.
5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that had returned from all nations, where they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
Kata kamano, Johanan wuod Karea kod jotend lweny duto notelo ne jo-Juda duto mane otony mi odwogo mondo odag e piny Juda koa e pinje duto mane okegie.
6 Even men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
Bende negitelone chwo duto, mon kod nyithindo gi nyi ruoth mane Nebuzaradan ma jatend lweny noseweyo gi Gedalia wuod Ahikam, ma wuod Shafan, kod Jeremia janabi kod Baruk wuod Neria.
7 So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: thus they came even to Tahpanhes.
Omiyo negidhi Misri ka ok giluoro Jehova Nyasaye ma gichopo nyaka Tapanhes.
8 Then came the word of the LORD to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
E Tapanhes kuno wach Jehova Nyasaye nobiro ne Jeremia niya:
9 Take great stones in thy hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entrance of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
“Kane jo-Yahudi ne pod rango, kaw kite moko madongo mondo iyik gi lowo e kind matafare mochan e dhoranga dala Farao man Tapanhes.
10 And say to them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
Eka iwachnegi ni, ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Maratego, ma Nyasach Israel, wacho: Analuong jatichna Nebukadneza ruodh Babulon, kendo anaket kom duongʼne ewi kitegi maseiko kae; mi ogur hembe e wigi.
11 And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
Enobi kendo omonj Misri, konego jogo monego negi, komako jogo monego maki, kendo konego gi ligangla jogo monego negi gi ligangla.
12 And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from there in peace.
Obiro moko mach kuom hekalu mag nyiseche mag Misri; enowangʼ hekalu mag-gi kendo enoter nyisechigi e twech. Kaka jakwath tweyo lepe e nungone, e kaka notwe Misri kuome owuon kendo noa kanyo ma ok ohinyore.
13 He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.
Enomuk sirni mowal milamo mag hekalu mar chiengʼ man Misri kendo enowangʼ hekalu mag nyiseche jo-Misri.’”
