James 4
1 From where come wars and fightings among you? come they not from this, even from your lusts that war in your members?
ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱེ སམརཱ རཎཤྩ ཀུཏ ཨུཏྤདྱནྟེ? ཡུཥྨདངྒཤིབིརཱཤྲིཏཱབྷྱཿ སུཁེཙྪཱབྷྱཿ ཀིཾ ནོཏྤདྱནྟེ?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
ཡཱུཡཾ ཝཱཉྪཐ ཀིནྟུ ནཱཔྣུཐ, ཡཱུཡཾ ནརཧཏྱཱམ྄ ཨཱིརྵྱཱཉྩ ཀུརུཐ ཀིནྟུ ཀྲྀཏཱརྠཱ བྷཝིཏུཾ ན ཤཀྣུཐ, ཡཱུཡཾ ཡུདྷྱཐ རཎཾ ཀུརུཐ ཙ ཀིནྟྭཔྲཱཔྟཱསྟིཥྛཐ, ཡཏོ ཧེཏོཿ པྲཱརྠནཱཾ ན ཀུརུཐ།
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
ཡཱུཡཾ པྲཱརྠཡདྷྭེ ཀིནྟུ ན ལབྷདྷྭེ ཡཏོ ཧེཏོཿ སྭསུཁབྷོགེཥུ ཝྱཡཱརྠཾ ཀུ པྲཱརྠཡདྷྭེ།
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
ཧེ ཝྱབྷིཙཱརིཎོ ཝྱབྷིཙཱརིཎྱཤྩ, སཾསཱརསྱ ཡཏ྄ མཻཏྲྱཾ ཏད྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ ཤཱཏྲཝམིཏི ཡཱུཡཾ ཀིཾ ན ཛཱནཱིཐ? ཨཏ ཨེཝ ཡཿ ཀཤྩིཏ྄ སཾསཱརསྱ མིཏྲཾ བྷཝིཏུམ྄ ཨབྷིལཥཏི ས ཨེཝེཤྭརསྱ ཤཏྲུ རྦྷཝཏི།
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
ཡཱུཡཾ ཀིཾ མནྱདྷྭེ? ཤཱསྟྲསྱ ཝཱཀྱཾ ཀིཾ ཕལཧཱིནཾ བྷཝེཏ྄? ཨསྨདནྟཪྻཱསཱི ཡ ཨཱཏྨཱ ས ཝཱ ཀིམ྄ ཨཱིརྵྱཱརྠཾ པྲེམ ཀརོཏི?
6 But he giveth more grace. Therefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
ཏནྣཧི ཀིནྟུ ས པྲཏུལཾ ཝརཾ ཝིཏརཏི ཏསྨཱད྄ ཨུཀྟམཱསྟེ ཡཐཱ, ཨཱཏྨཱབྷིམཱནལོཀཱནཱཾ ཝིཔཀྵོ བྷཝཏཱིཤྭརཿ། ཀིནྟུ ཏེནཻཝ ནམྲེབྷྱཿ པྲསཱདཱད྄ དཱིཡཏེ ཝརཿ༎
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
ཨཏཨེཝ ཡཱུཡམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ ཝཤྱཱ བྷཝཏ ཤཡཏཱནཾ སཾརུནྡྷ ཏེན ས ཡུཥྨཏྟཿ པལཱཡིཥྱཏེ།
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ སམཱིཔཝརྟྟིནོ བྷཝཏ ཏེན ས ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ སམཱིཔཝརྟྟཱི བྷཝིཥྱཏི། ཧེ པཱཔིནཿ, ཡཱུཡཾ སྭཀརཱན྄ པརིཥྐུརུདྷྭཾ། ཧེ དྭིམནོལོཀཱཿ, ཡཱུཡཾ སྭཱནྟཿཀརཎཱནི ཤུཙཱིནི ཀུརུདྷྭཾ།
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
ཡཱུཡམ྄ ཨུདྭིཛདྷྭཾ ཤོཙཏ ཝིལཔཏ ཙ, ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཧཱསཿ ཤོཀཱཡ, ཨཱནནྡཤྩ ཀཱཏརཏཱཡཻ པརིཝརྟྟེཏཱཾ།
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
པྲབྷོཿ སམཀྵཾ ནམྲཱ བྷཝཏ ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ས ཡུཥྨཱན྄ ཨུཙྩཱིཀརིཥྱཏི།
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
ཧེ བྷྲཱཏརཿ, ཡཱུཡཾ པརསྤརཾ མཱ དཱུཥཡཏ། ཡཿ ཀཤྩིད྄ བྷྲཱཏརཾ དཱུཥཡཏི བྷྲཱཏུ ཪྻིཙཱརཉྩ ཀརོཏི ས ཝྱཝསྠཱཾ དཱུཥཡཏི ཝྱཝསྠཱཡཱཤྩ ཝིཙཱརཾ ཀརོཏི། ཏྭཾ ཡདི ཝྱཝསྠཱཡཱ ཝིཙཱརཾ ཀརོཥི ཏརྷི ཝྱཝསྠཱཔཱལཡིཏཱ ན བྷཝསི ཀིནྟུ ཝིཙཱརཡིཏཱ བྷཝསི།
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
ཨདྭིཏཱིཡོ ཝྱཝསྠཱཔཀོ ཝིཙཱརཡིཏཱ ཙ ས ཨེཝཱསྟེ ཡོ རཀྵིཏུཾ ནཱཤཡིཏུཉྩ པཱརཡཏི། ཀིནྟུ ཀསྟྭཾ ཡཏ྄ པརསྱ ཝིཙཱརཾ ཀརོཥི?
13 Come now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
ཨདྱ ཤྭོ ཝཱ ཝཡམ྄ ཨམུཀནགརཾ གཏྭཱ ཏཏྲ ཝརྵམེཀཾ ཡཱཔཡནྟོ ཝཱཎིཛྱཾ ཀརིཥྱཱམཿ ལཱབྷཾ པྲཱཔྶྱཱམཤྩེཏི ཀཐཱཾ བྷཱཥམཱཎཱ ཡཱུཡམ྄ ཨིདཱནཱིཾ ཤྲྀཎུཏ།
14 Though ye know not what shall be to morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
ཤྭཿ ཀིཾ གྷཊིཥྱཏེ ཏད྄ ཡཱུཡཾ ན ཛཱནཱིཐ ཡཏོ ཛཱིཝནཾ ཝོ བྷཝེཏ྄ ཀཱིདྲྀཀ྄ ཏཏྟུ བཱཥྤསྭརཱུཔཀཾ, ཀྵཎམཱཏྲཾ བྷཝེད྄ དྲྀཤྱཾ ལུཔྱཏེ ཙ ཏཏཿ པརཾ།
15 Instead of that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
ཏདནུཀྟྭཱ ཡུཥྨཱཀམ྄ ཨིདཾ ཀཐནཱིཡཾ པྲབྷོརིཙྪཱཏོ ཝཡཾ ཡདི ཛཱིཝཱམསྟརྷྱེཏཏ྄ ཀརྨྨ ཏཏ྄ ཀརྨྨ ཝཱ ཀརིཥྱཱམ ཨིཏི།
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
ཀིནྟྭིདཱནཱིཾ ཡཱུཡཾ གཪྻྭཝཱཀྱཻཿ ཤླཱགྷནཾ ཀུརུདྷྭེ ཏཱདྲྀཤཾ སཪྻྭཾ ཤླཱགྷནཾ ཀུཏྶིཏམེཝ།
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
ཨཏོ ཡཿ ཀཤྩིཏ྄ སཏྐརྨྨ ཀརྟྟཾ ཝིདིཏྭཱ ཏནྣ ཀརོཏི ཏསྱ པཱཔཾ ཛཱཡཏེ།
